Oh my heavens what an exhausting week.

Scott...you were saying you dislike your job. I'm with you on my side too. My entire day is always filled with ad-hoc requests that ask for it today but wanted it yesterday (y'know, since I'm Marty McFly).

What gets me most is the people that choose not to learn how to be self-sustaining. Here's an example:

Mrs. PaintedOnEyebrow; "Hey, can you send me this? I need it by 2pm"
Me: "I have other priorities that are time sensitive. Actually, you can pull this using [this] transaction."
Her: "Well...if you can just send me the report before you leave today, that'll be ok. Thanks."

I just hate working 1pm-12am...Since my wife is a nurse, she typically works like 7am-6pm or so...It's like we hardly see each other, except for like 3 days a week...

Damnnnnn that all looks good. I had seen Bulldog Bar recommended at a few places, so I think we are going to head there when our flight lands tonight.

So can you really walk anywhere on the street with alcohol? I probably wouldn't want too that much other than getting a touristy drink in a souvenir cup, but it would be cool if I haven't finished a beer yet and can get it poured into a to-go cup.

As long as its not a glass bottle you are good to go. We do it so much here when we went to disney world we got in trouble several times from running into a bar then walking out to go somewhere else with our drinks. We got a free pass when we told them where we were from lol.

Side note: Only way to experience Disney world, sneak in vodka in a water bottle and get tore up riding rides. We had a absolute blast!

I just hate working 1pm-12am...Since my wife is a nurse, she typically works like 7am-6pm or so...It's like we hardly see each other, except for like 3 days a week...

I wouldn't be able to do that. I got to have a life outside of work. If that means I'm a little more broke, so be it. What's a life if you've got none?

I used to work overnight 11pm-7pm and it was good money but you're a ghost. And any holidays or things like that totally screws you up.

I'm glad now we're both on regular day shifts, 8-4 and 9-5.

I work 6pm-6am 2 on 2 off every other weekend so one week I'll work 24 hrs the next week I'll work 60 hrs.

It just dawned on me that when I look at people in the face, be it in conversation or watching a movie, I am drawn to their right eye.

I know the general rule of thumb is to get somewhere within the triangle of their two eyes and the bridge of their nose, but I made a conscious awareness of the fact that their right eye is what I fixate on.

Next time you talk face-to-face with somebody, pay attention to where you look at them, and report back.

It's really weird. I'm so used to having to hurry and down my drink as fast as I can when we're getting ready to leave a bar...having the bartender ask if you'd like that put in a to go cup is glorious.

Also, if you want a nice dinner hit up Mr. B's Bistro. The filet and barbecue shrimp are incredible.

So, this is basically my hometown. I'm not there right now and I dont think I know anyone who is car shopping or eats at cracker barrel, but still ridiculous.

TEXAS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Kalamazoo County are searching for a suspect who is randomly shooting people.
Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas told 24 Hour News 8 that multiple were fatally shot at the Cracker Barrel in Texas Township and Seelye Ford dealership, located at 3820 Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo.
Matyas says the suspect is driving around randomly shooting people. Police believe the suspect is white man who is driving a blue Chevy HHR.
Police say three people were killed at the Cracker Barrel and two were taken to the hospital.

What the hell is wrong with people man? Saw that an eight year old was killed in the shootings. Senseless waste of life.

Yeah. Kinda scary really. Kalamazoo averages 12 homicides a year, 6 confirmed, at least 1 more critical.

Suspect reportedly in custody though.
