I got some bad news also this weekend, my sister (31) died Saturday so I've been dealing with stuff similar to you. It's been a rough couple of days for both of us man......keep your head up man, time will make it better.

Just offering a suggestion... I'm sure this would get more traffic if you created a thread. Only if you wanted too, of course.

Thanks for posting that, I'll donate something later today. One thing my wife suggested is going to Suicide Counseling sooner rather than later, she wishes that she would had done that and not waited until later...

I completely agree with this... My grandfather's suicide was very similar to Psy's fathers. I won't go into details because this isn't the time or place, but happened almost 40 years ago (before I was born) and I feel like my mom is still affected by it.

Psy, seek consulting, talk to relatives, vent on OS, etc. Just do whatever you're comfortable with, but just don't let it weight you down.

No worries here, this process is already underway. I've been seeing a therapist myself for over five years now, and I was able to get in and see her today. That, along with the enormous groundswell of support from both my OS friends and my "real life" friends (of which there is some overlap) has been extraordinary over the past three days.

It's hard, but this is what I'm trying to get back to doing. Putting all my energy into my 96 year old grandfather and spending as much time with him as I can. It's good to have a community you can talk about things with and lean on from time to time.

The only bad thing is that the wait is going to be tough............probably wont be active and installed for another year and a half. Oh well, counting down the days until I can tell Comcast to go kick rocks.

I hope it doesn't take too much longer after HSV gets it that Madison gets it. Saw an article today that they should be able to provide it there.

I have read that Madison might actually get it first due to the demand in the area and how Madison has been booming. When they say it's coming to HSV, they mean it's coming to every single place that HSV Utilities currently serves.

I just want to see everyone doing well. Life is short and so very precious. It's unfortunate that events in our life's that bring heartache and pain, show us that we only have one kick at this and that we should cherish our loved ones and enjoy the time we have here as much as we can. Psy and Phobia, you guys have been on my mind all day.
