$35 a month? WTF?!?! I have lived in Texas my whole life and never paid that low of an amount. Usually about $120 in the summer, depends though. We keep the house about 78.

You need to get a new electric company. I get a $80 bill credit when I use over 1000 kW.

Come to LA where I live in the San Fernando Valley and in the summer my bill (bi-monthly) averages around $400 a month.

So yes, I see a ****ing 800 dollar electric bill during the dog days of summer.

It was 112° here right outside my front door on the first day of the summer solstice yesterday.

Good times indeed.
