I understand why they are told to ask for that stuff but I always wonder what it will take for the person to get the hint that I don't want to give them any of my info.

I was at Factory Card Outlet one time buying a card and the girl at the register asked for my email address. I told her that I didn't want to provide it. She told me that it was required. I asked her why would my email address be required to purchase a 99 cent card at Factory Card Outlet and she informed me that it was required so that I could receive coupons and specials via email. I told her that I didn't care to receive any coupons nor specials, and she told me that she couldn't process the transaction without it.

I laughed, picked my money up off the counter and walked out the door.

I would've just made up an email address in that scenario.

Something corny like '[email protected]'.

That's exactly why they ask for email addresses and stuff. When I worked at Pottery Barn, each cashier had a email capture percentage. They wanted you at a certain number or else YOU ARE A BAD PERSON. So cashiers are pushy about it or at least make it sound necessary.

But what do I know? I just opened boxes. [emoji14]

Lol, all this reminds me of when Kobe used to do interviews with Cabbie(a sports personality in Canada) and gave him fake addresses and numbers. "1-800-Never-Ever-Ever-Call-Me-Ever" and lives at "8 Out of your mind Avenue" lol

I'm torn between a 2016 Camry and a 2017 Accord. Ugh.

I had the 16 accord sport and would go Accord over Camry. I test drive the Camry first because it was my first choice. It was a bit too small and basic for me.

The Honda had a better feel and I loved the sport model look. It was also bigger on the inside at least feel wise.

If you read my previous posts and remember my recent car crash which was 0% my fault...the Honda air bags deployed nicely and I wasn't hurt.

Both are going to be solid choices

You take all of the fun out of everything. I was going to do an 8ball of coke, get some hookers and steal a car and get chased by the cops.
