I've been really big into amusement parks, roller coasters more specifically, since I was about 10. I try and get to as many new places as I can, but I get terrible motion sickness so I've had to slow down a bit as I've gotten older. I still keep up on news within the industry as much as I can. It's a great way to travel and experience new places.

I know it's really generic, but I'm really big in to listening to music. I'm able to listen at work throughout the day and I actively do, it's not just background music. I stream about 20,000 songs a year, comes out to about 50 days worth. I get to a few shows a year but I like the personal experience the most. Needless to say, I get the most out of my Spotify subscription. I'm in to the punk rock scene and its offshoots so not a lot of stuff most people are familiar with though there is some crossover here or there.
Obviously, sports. Anything I'm interested in I take to a pretty high level, so I'm always watching or reading. Being on OS is great because you can talk about sports deeper then the average conversation and you're not looked at sideways.
Really cool to see all the people who are in to (or getting back in to) LEGO here. I'm lucky enough to have a job that allows me to be around LEGO every day and yes, it is awesome. Of course I grew up with LEGO as a kid but not until I started working where I do did I really get involved in the community and realize how massive and inclusive it was. The things people do with sets and the minifigures are jaw-dropping. It's really so much more then a toy... I'd consider it more of an art with what a lot of people do.
I'm passionate about charity and giving back. I play for Extra Life every year, and this year my buddy and I collaborated on a grassroots charity organization. I've fallen in to an analyst/volunteer/advisor role and he's taken the reigns, but I stay as involved as I can. We don't make any money off it either... it's purely to help our local community by using new and innovative techniques. Over 7000 items donated, free of charge, in our city and surrounding area.Last edited by slickdtc; 10-04-2016, 07:22 PM.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

I buy, sell, and collect sports cards. I honestly wouldn't recommend it though. It's a financial drain.
It can be addictive and is pretty much a form of gambling because of the odds system they use for pulling certain types of cards. And the house always wins.

I buy/sell Designer purses/accessories and anything made by Fossil (Michael Kors watches). Yes they are relatively cheap but women love them. And not that replica/inspired by crap either....Only authentic.
I also like going treasure hunting online and in stores like SA and goodwill. Its fun and a good way to supplement your income. Plus the wife always gets something new very low price. Its win win win.....Last edited by ANDROMADA 1; 10-05-2016, 11:03 PM.Comment
