No new snow here, but we went from warm and rain to freezing cold and windy pretty fast and you know the idiots won't realize there's ice all over the roads

Driving to work this morning, snow is falling. While some of the side roads have snow on them, its nothing bad. The interstate was clear due to being pretreated, but that didn't stop one driver from driving 25mph with their emergency flashers going.

The sight of snow just does something to drivers.

Returning to work Monday after being on vacation for a week is sure to be a joy.

Pretty sure (and if so, extremely grateful) we were the last flight to leave EWR because of the weather. Probably would've cried if the flight was cancelled lol.

Forget a week off, being off since before Christmas(and basically being in Christmas mode all of December), and now preparing for Monday........

Most of the time I don't mind day to day, week to week life(though at times it does get stressful/overwhelming), but the hardest part is going back after having time off. I remember back during school, that final Sunday before going back on Monday was so depressing. All these years later...nothings really changed.

I am ready for summer. The older I get, the more I can't tolerate cold weather.

What's with all of our favorite movies now becoming TV shows?

Rush Hour, Lethal Weapon, Taken, Training Day... there are more, but some movies not as good heh.

The real kicker is that none of the shows are good.

Somewhere in the middle is best. When it's not too cold that you need to wear layers, but where it's not too hot that you can't be outside for too long before sweating.

June-August is usually my fave time of the year though. Being able to actually go outside and do things without it being freezing cold, or ice/snow on the ground, or getting dark by 4-5pm. Summer days, especially something like a Saturday evening from 5pm onwards, being able to sit outside grilling food, relaxing, just staying outside in the sunlight until around 8-9pm, not worrying about being busy the next day.

All this summer talk, and it's January....and around here at least, the snowstorms and freezing cold weather haven't hit yet.

Hot weather isn't so bad, unless you have to actually go out somewhere, then you don't want to be sweating so much in public in that heat.

Come down to Florida and let's talk about hot weather LOL. I hated summer in NC, too, but FL is a whole different level of misery. At least winters have comfortable temperatures, but the sun is still down (or close to it) before I leave work, usually, so it's not like I can really enjoy it.
