Some of us don't get any Holidays off!

It's especially frustrating when I've been involved in a car crash and I'm going to work every day and sending out emails to the claim adjusters while getting back these automated "I'll be back in the office on 1/5" emails back.

It'll have been 8 days since I've heard from my claim adjuster until she gets back in the office.

I understand people need their Holiday breaks...it's just the worst time to file a claim. It's something I had no control over either.

I'm about to bookend two long weekends with a trip to Vegas and a week off. Coming back to reality/a normal schedule is going to be a hell of a time.

That reminds me, any recommendations as far as the best sports books/poker rooms out there? I plan to set a day aside to play in a tournament and bet on some stuff and wasn't sure of where to go. I know a lot of professionals play at Aria but I don't exactly have the bankroll to play those games.

I turned 30 on Thursday. Other than reflecting on some things and making new goals for my 5 year plan I don't feel different, but I've noticed my mindset about certain things has changed. I guess that is called maturing, but whatever.

To counteract my fiance gave me a Sega Genesis with Jurassic Park, Aladdin, Sonic, and The Lion King. We also went to the local game store and I picked up NBA Jam TE, Mortal Kombat 1 and 2, and Sonic 2. I also snagged Rogue Squadron for the N64.

Its amazing how great those games still are. It was such a rush, but then to realize how much I missed as kid or didn't appreciate is like coming in completely fresh again.
