Bought something online recently using a gift card I had from Christmas. The order was one price and my gift card was a dollar or two more than that. So it took out the amount of the order from the gift card, which was less than the gift card itself.

I got an email today notifying me of the order being shipped, but when I looked in the invoice, turns out that price deducted from my gift card was before taxes. So I technically didn't pay the full amount, and not all my gift card was even used despite the actual amount being greater than the gift card total.

They didn't mention any issues, but I'm wondering what might happen with that remaining amount? I used guest checkout and didn't pay using credit card, so they can't suddenly charge me more money. And the item was shipped meaning its out of their hands now. Is this just an error on their end with their website not charging the proper amount at checkout?

First time eating at Zaxbys today.

Two combo meals was $15 and had to pay to just get one BBQ sauce for my chicken tenders.

Very disappointed.

After the Dbacks-Dodgers game on TBS I fired up a recording. When that was over I saw that New Girl was on, only I saw Kat Dennings instead of Zooey Deschanel. KD is on 2 Broke Girls, not New Girl... unless she was making a cameo appearance.

Does that happen often? Wrong program playing, just because they both have "Girl" in the title? lol

EDIT: Full disclosure, I have never seen either show before.

Yep.

When we interview, we always ask about working on weekends.

If they are unwilling to work weekends, the resume is thrown out.

If you want a job, you need to agree to do whatever it takes.

I love my Monday thru Friday job. Work 8am til 4:30pm. I couldn't imagine working weekends nowadays

Well a fast food combo @ $8 is pricey to me. That'd be fine if the quality justified it but I d just rather have Chick-Fil-A.

At least its a long weekend here so tonight isn't bad at all. Though it is last long weekend until Christmas so that sucks.


But holiday weekends with family for me are either hit or miss. Meaning either it's great or just sucks. lol, now I can see why people here said they actually didn't mind working at times on holidays so they could skip out on family stuff halfway through. I don't mind any of this stuff, but it does run its course(no pun intended) eventually. Especially once it starts going on and on and on about peoples jobs and money and all that. I'm not the type of person who wants to hear people complaining or boasting about those types of things(and even worse when it's a combination of the two, like "I get paid 6 figures, but I hate my job so much". Ya...you're sure gonna get sympathy from the average person).

For me, I just like having family type things for the fun stuff. Food,games,fun conversations and so on. Not all these serious financial,political,social discussions people got. Unfortunately for me, I'm in the minority so I basically stick out in a bad way.

Anyone got any tips on getting rid of Raccoons? They literally come in my yard every night. Not because of any garbage or food that's just outside, but they just seem to treat the yard as a second home.

The "present" they leave in the exact same spot every single night is getting real annoying, and now they're starting to dig up everything. I've tried so many things from vinegar to pepper to specific stuff from stores designed to get rid of them but nothing seems to work.

I don't know how/why they want to go to that exact same spot every single night but they always do. Even if I put everything I possible can to block that part, they find a way there.

When raccoons tried to get on our back porch Mama just chased em off with a broom
