This reminds me of a scene from Family Guy.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

My step dad got me with an all time subtle shot yesterday, and he wasn't even serious, but if he was, it would've been savage, but he was teasing
Backstory: he was in an accident several years ago and had his leg amputated.
I brought my car over for help figuring out what's going on with my brakes, I'm not a car person, he is.
I've been having this weird issue with my knee, can't figure out the deal, can't bend it tight or it locks and I have to sort of move the ligaments back into place and then I'm ok.
anyway, while my step dad is on the ground with the jack lifting up the car and he's checking brakes and rotors, I mention as I try to bend down "ugh I have a bum knee", and he just casually says "yeah I have a bum leg"
there's no coming back from that, I got down on my *** and asked what I could do to helpWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

I’m having surgery again Monday to remove kidney stones
This is becoming far too routine

It's been one of these things that has gone on for years and even the horrors of WebMD can't really figure it out. I was expecting to throw a few searches out and get the standard "you have bubonic plague" type of result, but instead I get something about knee dislocations that occur when extending the leg, which isn't my problem, but the "pop" sound of fixing the tendons or ligaments or whatever happens when I manually wiggle them back into place.
quick, someone say "you should see a doctor", it's an insta 5 likesWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Wow, I have the same type of deal with my right knee. Got pinned underneath me while my body went a different way playing football coming up on 10 years ago (it was Election Day 08).
The first few years it would feel almost like you said, a dislocation or something. But then you slowly straighten it out and it kind of pops/rolls over back in to place. It doesn’t hurt that much to be honest, the sensation is really weird but not too painful. It’s more being scared you’re knee will not go back in to place. Some soreness.
Hasn’t popped/rolled in years, but I can feel it’s still weak and I definitely baby it. Sleep a certain way. Generally protective of it.
I did have a doctor check it out, wrote me a recommendation for an MRI that I never got. I’m sure it’ll require surgery and at the time I didn’t have the time, money or ability to take off work. Maybe now that I’m a bit more settled I could pull it off. I know it’ll cause me issues in the future, like arthritis or something, if I don’t eventually get it fixed. Just had become one of those things that you live with.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
