At least you aren't me. It's getting to be harder to find the traditional kind of headphones these days and those are the ones that work best for me. I can't exactly take off my hearing aids and hear things in airbuds etc etc.

^ To clarify, Tom Kenny is the voice of SpongeBob. I only wanted to say that because it sounded like (based on what somebody else was saying) that a voice actor for the show died, which isn't the case. He is the creator and was a producer of the show though, and when he left the show slowly transitioned into the complete unwatchable **** form that it is today. So to me, SpongeBob "died" a long time ago back in my HS years.

Yet even still, this is just such disheartening news, especially hearing that it was ALS. He had to go through that for over a year it seems. I hope he went peacefully.

I could probably give you some good S3 ones that I think can get you to understand why, even if you don't ultimately love it.

I bought Battlefield 5 at Gamestop for $60 on Friday.

Its now $30 at Target and I'm pretty sure I cant get my money back since I "opened" the merchandise.

Looks like I'll be spending Christmas on the shelf. Blew out my knee playing with my son yesterday. Scans show that I tore my meniscus, dislocated my knee cap, and "damaged" ligaments in my right knee. Waiting to meet with orthopedic surgeon to see what the plan for treatment/recovery will be. Chance it won't need surgery, but this is the same knee that I've had operated on twice before for similar injuries.

Nothing like medical debt to put one in the Christmas spirit.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Today I covered an advance-standing literature class.

Noting that it's also the fall semester, the course on the roll call roster was abbreviated: LIT AS F

You can't make this stuff up.

tl;dr -- I went on a porn website in front of my students.

                            Got your attention?

So yesterday morning I had to cover a physics class. The teacher left a lesson plan on the desk that said while they were working in partners on something for me to project the iPad to the screen, go tinyurl.com/crashbarrier and play the video for the kids.

I was able to get the iPad projected, and me being me I started to get their attention by typing dumb URL names that were related to that, without needlessly visiting anything I typed:

                            tinytinytinyurl.com
                            tinyurldotcomslash
                            tinyurl.com/crashberry-er
                            bit.ly/crashbarrier

Eventually I typed /crashbandicoot after tinyurl.com to see who knew what that game was. A few knew and giggled, and they're like: "Go to it, see if it's gameplay or something." My interest was piqued so I said OK and hit Enter.

It turns out it blocked me from the website it was entering, and the class started laughing. "Figures it would block a gaming site," I said, and went back to the home page. They're laughing even harder afterward, and a student chimes: "That was not a gaming site!" I said: "What are you talking about?"

I found the browser's history, and the last website hit in big bold letters reads "BRAZZERS."

Yes, folks... typing out that string of letters brings you to a porn website.

So I'm on the history screen, furiously trying to figure out how to remove it. There is an option that says "Clear" and I press it, which then asks me if I want to clear all history... and I didn't want to do that. Not sure how to delete the specific one, I just pressed on the BRAZZERS tab to see if it would give me options. Nope, brought me right back to the site, thankfully blocked once again. The class is dying in laughter. A teacher pokes her head in wondering what all of the commotion is about, and I quickly press on the Home button to hide evidence of what was happening. She thankfully left then and there. Some students then just indicated that I had to swipe left on the sites and would clear it. I got rid of them, and got applause lol.

I said: "THIS DOESN'T LEAVE THIS ROOM." But of course, them being freshmen (and how do all of these freshmen know about this site by the way, hmmm???) they can't keep their mouths shut. A student in my last period class asked: "So Mr. Robinson, how far are you in Red Dead?" I started to go, "Well, I've been..." and he interrupts me by saying: "Or have you put it off for Crash Bandicoot lately?" Class laughs. Everybody there must know as well.

Something always seems to happen each time I cover another class.
