This has actually been my go to move while I try and figure this out, plus the "pretending to talk on the phone" trick I mentioned a couple pages back, it's like when Costanza always acted annoyed so people wouldn't give him more work

Problem is, these don't prevent me from getting unexpected door knocks.

I keep trying to think of the right thing to say, but if the situation presents itself I'll just forget and start bumbling my words anyway. It's almost like I need a notecard to carry with me to read from lol

That won't work if l3ulvl is charming. Look at how well Rickey Henderson has done referring himself in the 3rd person


Personally I think it's a tough situation but in my case it's rather easy. Just predict I can't hear em.

I haven't lived in Japan in over a year now and I still occasionally drop an excuse me, yes, no, thank you, how are you, etc. in Japanese and people look at me like I'm crazy. It's a tough habit to break.

Huzzah!

Got my router problem/port forwarding issue resolved. Turned out I needed to go through the ipconfig command and see if the IP address changed (it did) so had to manually change the address for the device I wanted to connect to.


At least I now know what to do if there's another long term power outage

YouTube autoplay doesn't function for me anymore.

Every video I watch seems to want to autoplay back to this one specific video that I guess I've used several times in the past instead of finding something related to the material that I'm watching, so I hit a button beside its thumbnail and said "not interested." Since then, nothing appears as an autoplay video anymore.

Even when I hit the settings icon in the video itself and re-enable autoplay, it doesn't autoplay a video after that. You might think that I should refresh the page or go to a different video... heck maybe even let that one video fully play out, close out the browser and restart my computer... I did all of that. Autoplay shows up as disabled in that settings menu again, and nothing appears to the right as the next video to autoplay.

Google search has been no help since most links are telling you how to disable autoplay, and re-enabling it comes just with that toggle option. Nothing about it disappearing though, at least not to the magnitude that mine is having issues with. I can't find any settings in my profile that can adjust this either.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

I don't believe so. Regardless, I'm not sure how to reactivate autoplay in general.

EDIT: Not sure what did it, but autoplay is back again. Thanks for the help anyway.

SECOND EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot that I logged onto my math YouTube channel, which of course doesn't have this strange peculiarity that my normal one does.

Got abunch of things I've been looking at for Black Friday. Probably won't get any.

Most sales aren't too special.

Main ones are things like dash/rear cam(though I don't know how to even connect it to the backlight), smart plug(been looking at one about $40 with 4 plugs and USB ports) and a microwave. Though I'm thinking for the microwave to wait till Boxing day.

Plug I want to get within next week, so even if it's not on sale, I'll probably get it.

Cam can be bought anytime, but like I said, I just don't know how to connect the rear camera to the backlight using those wires.

So there’s no Bluetooth headphones that sit in your ear like AirPods, huh? They’re all the jam the plug in your ear kind or otherwise clunky. Does Apple really have the only pair designed to rest in your ear?

I could go with a $25, $45, or $75 knockoff, but my electronics I typically don’t want to skimp out. I have a pair of AirPods and love them, now the wife wants a pair but doesn’t care if they’re not AirPods, she just likes the design.
