I would go through catalogues and remember one in particular (mightve been Belks or JC Pennys) that was massive and you could get a case of the Starting Lineup figures, each year for several years I would pull that page out and give it to my parents...never got a case but did get a few Hornets and Packers ones I remember. I still have a Rex Chapman one.

I'd ask for a lot of Ghostbusters and Ninja Turtles stuff as well as Jurassic Park stuff when it was out.

Also would always ask for Hotwheels and Legos which is cool because that's what my 3 year old asked for now, so I'm...I mean HE...is going to have a fun Christmas.

For me it was video games and wrestling action figures.

When I was in elementary I would usually ask for action figures and video games but that changed as I got older and into sports to jerseys of my favorite players, workout gear, and sports related games. Some I got some I didn’t get.

I always wanted a video game system but through the SNES/Genesis era my parents wouldn't let us get one because they wanted us to spend time outside or some BS. When I was 9 or 10 we got a Playstation, total surprise. Going forward it was almost exclusively videogames I asked for. Before then I remember asking for different action figures.

I wanted Castle Grayskull. Santa came a couple weeks early one year, and I got Snake Mountain. I was totally jazzed and forgot about Grayskull. Think I actually got Grayskull on Christmas day, but my brother and I preferred Snake Mountain because of the microphone.

I remember one year I wanted the Ewok tree village and my 4 year old brother got it instead. I was mad and, like, what a waste , he doesn't even have the proper imagination to enjoy it right.

The Christmas that the great Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie came out I got the Robin Hood Sherwood Forest playset.

I didn't realize it was the exact same as the Ewok tree village until I saw the Ewok one at an antique mall about five years ago.

Jealous, mom would never get me Castle Greyskull no matter how much I cried.

I remember getting the Iron Horse and got KIT from Knight Rider and I was so pumped

My son is 21 now and I expect he needs to start getting me Christmas grownup toys. I hope I get Fallout 76 this Christmas. I've dropped enough hints, and the latest one last week, "Hey son, get me Fallout 76 for Christmas " ought to be the one that gets it done.
