 Re: Interview with 3rdAnswer

I feel you on that. I decided to not rap for real and just rally around Salim, let him do his thing and help him out. If he makes it then I feel like I would have been a big part of it.Originally posted by KreditI keep thinking about getting back into all of that.. but I don't have enough motivation.-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist

He definitely has a long way to go, but anything's possible. His lyrics have really slipped over the years, IMO.. but his flow has gotten better as time wears on.Originally posted by 3rdAnswerI feel you on that. Re: Interview with 3rdAnswer

He just doesn't really write anymore. Most of his ish is freestyles. He has a long way to go to be really good, but he's already better than some rappers out, which only shows how bad the rap game is now. He can 'Make It'. All it takes is great production these days.Originally posted by KreditHe definitely has a long way to go, but anything's possible. Re: Interview with 3rdAnswer

He won't 'make it' with mini-mixtapes like ya'll have been putting out. No offense, but that's only really good for local promotion, not to get noticed, get signed, and get airplay.Originally posted by 3rdAnswerHe just doesn't really write anymore. IMO, the rap game is more about connections nowadays moreso than even production.Comment

 Re: Interview with 3rdAnswer

Yeah we realize that those mixtapes aren't really much. He's the one that is serious about distributing them, when I feel like we should just make them for ourselves.Originally posted by KreditHe won't 'make it' with mini-mixtapes like ya'll have been putting out.
