I saw a guy on my street give himself a "parking ticket".

As in, he made a fake ticket (or simply put a blank piece of paper the same colour as the ticket paper) and put it on his windshield.

In his mind doing so would have any parking police pass by his car thinking a tickets already been issued by someone else so they won't bother.

In reality, he's definitely getting a ticket right? That just catches their eye even more and if anything they might check the car more thinking it's been there for a long time if it already has a ticket.

Unless you're parked somewhere you're not supposed to be parked, or you just get a real horrible/quota hungry officer, they at least make their rounds and make notes of cars parked up and if it's still there later they ticket it. Already having a "ticket" on it definitely flags your car for more than just making a note to check back later on.

I think it probably pushes up the time that the impound picks it up lol. Crime doesn't pay, even victimless ones.

Bob Newhart passed away at the age of 94.

It's crazy how many actors are now living into their 90s. Sure, having money obviously is a big part of that if you save/spend it wisely and don't live a crazy lifestyle, but you definitely see way more like Betty White, Bob Newhart, Bob Barker and others who pass away in their 90s.

Bob Newhart passed away at the age of 94.

It's crazy how many actors are now living into their 90s. Sure, having money obviously is a big part of that if you save/spend it wisely and don't live a crazy lifestyle, but you definitely see way more like Betty White, Bob Newhart, Bob Barker and others who pass away in their 90s.

I know his face more than many distinct roles. I know he was in one of the Legally Blonde films and Elf, and he has a really quick appearance in Horrible Bosses.

They had a family feud clip show recently. Funniest moments of the shows entire run(s). Even calling out/mentioning the Richard Dawson "kissing bandit" days.

On the newest Carnival cruise ships they have the family feud licenses and do a exact replica of the show. Before the shows start they play highlight package of the funniest answers ever. You aren't allowed to record any of it so it was cool for me to see some of the answers they play on that like the pork one.

Just remembered 989 Sports / Studios. And remembered that’s the dev that turned in to SCEA or whatever Sony that makes The Show nowadays.

Man, we used to have it all. Like 3-4 options to choose from in every sport. 989 made that other game, lol. High Heat baseball, NHL Faceoff, NFL Gameday. Cool names tbh. I went Nintendo and XBOX until PS3 and now PS4 (things a tank) so I missed most of those games. There was NFL Fever on XBOX by MS I think that had some cool features. Animated towels!!
