But this is another "2020 thing". A full moon on Halloween! Despite what movies and tv shows claim, it doesn't happen that often. And people can't truly enjoy what would've been one of craziest Halloweens ever (weekend halloween with a full moon)...although I guess this is even crazier.

Not really related, but when it comes to rarities I'm a co-advisor for our school's Mathletes, and a competition question asked when the next decade-starting leap year will be that begins on a Wednesday (Jan 1). I forget the answer now since it's been a while, but it's not for a few centuries. You'd think it would happen a lot faster, but alas...

Just under 2 weeks before Halloween...and I've bought a Christmas present already.

In a year like this, you have to be 10 steps ahead of everyone else before they realize what you're doing.

Come the Sunday after Halloween, get ready, everyone's gonna start going after Christmas items as they'll all want to beat the rush, only to find out that they're in the rush.

Christmas shopping should probably be done and delivered before November ends or else you're looking at one of the most chaotic Christmases ever. Deliveries will be a pain, as will store stocks.

that sucks, especially if your company wants you to work from home while quarantined, instead of doing something constructive and meaningful. like video gaming. you on a 10 day quarantine or 14? hope it goes quickly and doesn't drag, especially if you have to work while quarantined

I don’t have to work. Quarantine is for duration of symptoms and results of test. If positive it’s 14 days I believe. Negative it’s until symptoms reside then another negative test to ensure I can safely return to work without fear of spreading virus.

2020 is done in under 2 months!

Can't believe its November already. Obviously doesn't feel like it. No hockey or basketball right now, which is usually what helps occupy time, especially when weather is getting colder and theres less going outside.
