Decided to not put shutters up today, but did put the awnings on the porch down so they don't fly away as they flex under normal storm winds. It's another one of these storms that slows down on approach like it's checking street signs.

Well folks, it took 135 days for it to happen, but my Roth IRA has *finally* climbed back up to where it once was before COVID really struck people hard financially.





I won't disclose my finances in full, but as a hint those gray lines are $10k increments.

Should've invested in Purell at some point, heh.

Oh, I know that. I'm just showing the side effects of what COVID brought about, and how things are finally (hopefully) normalizing again.

Massive explosion in Beirut's port. The videos of the explosion are horrifying. Reports are mentioning that tons of ammonium nitrate might have went up.

Wow, that's much bigger than the Tianjin gas explosion, and that was massive in itself!

Unless it's something different (or unless we're talking about different things), I looked at the satellite map and it said "Beirut Port Silos."

Probably saw different things (I didn’t even look at that video) as I’ve seen most through the day.

It was a central business district and the one thing I’ve seen a couple times is multiple hospitals in the area but like I mentioned, info has been hard to find. I had to tune into BBC when the news broke to find anyone covering it.

Holy ****!!! That was a massive explosion. It was like a baby nuke the way the shockwave was destroying buildings around it. My god. I wasn't expecting that at all.

Yeah the only comparable explosions I’ve seen were of them testing nukes in the 40s and 50s. Seeing the ripple blow away buildings as it came toward the camera was insane.
