That's cute but I saw a fox out in the field a couple weeks ago near where I walk my dog (he's a 9 lb shih tzu), and I put my steel toes on when I walked him that night

that woman reminds me of Christmas from Big Brother

So apparently my grandpa fell during his walk today and broke his jaw in two places, perhaps also possibly broke his arm. He can't close his mouth without surgery because of the swelling.

I can't imagine what he's going through right now. He's definitely showing many signs of slowing the past couple of years as well. I swear I thought he would outlive us all.

Poor guy. I hope he's not in too much pain, but I can't imagine how that isn't possible.

I hope he feels better soon. All I can say is go spend some time with him. When they get up there in age, crazy things happen. I'm not trying to be a downer, but I had a similar experience recently with my grandmother. Just go hang out with him for an hour.

There will be History of the US in schools and a whole semester will be devoted just to 2020.

Another humongous news event just happened.

Thanks. Unfortunately he lives in Scottsdale, AZ. Not exactly a hop and a skip away, and with the virus still at play neither my mom or myself are flying anywhere.

I think he's home right now, trying to see if the swelling can go down before considering surgery at his age. It's weird, because two years ago he was an 85-year-old passing off as a 70-year-old. Flash-forward to today, and he's definitely slowed considerably. Maybe he plays like a late 70's now, but with him being my last grandparent I'd sure like him to last forever, or as long as forever lasts.

I doubt there will be huge chunks of US history courses dedicated to 2020, like there are for wars and the Great Depression, but it did kind of hit home how much of a lost summer this has been while driving home today, noticing it getting darker earlier.

Just spent a significant time shopping for clothes online, only to come to the realization that... who even cares, I have to wear a mask so what difference does it make? Smh.
