On the topic, I sort of see things both ways. Guru was definitely wrong with his complete and utter blindness toward anything wrong with ASB and his complete bashing of other games, such as High Heat.

But, from the other end of the spectrum, I kind of agree that it shouldn't matter where you work or what your profession is, you should have your opinion. I just think that Guru pushed his "opinion" too far to the point that he looked past any problems with ASB and bashed little things with other games.

I will miss Guru on here though. He was always a good comedian and I found some of his one sided ASB posts quite hilarious, until I discovered he worked for Acclaim.

I think Guru should stay. He wasn't doing anything wrong being a fanboy to asb when no one knew where he worked, so what makes it wrong now. Of course, this isn't my forum so I have no say in it, just stating what I think.

Okay read this one more time as it comes from the same Acclaim IP address.

AHHHH good to be back in such controversial threads such as this. Checked out that High Heat 2004 stream on gamespot. One word..."WOW". Is Trip in trouble or what? 2 plays in one movie that should have been outs and animations yucked it up. Cant wait till its out!

Dont give up the fight guru...one day they will all understand where you and i are coming from. And i have a feeling ASB2k4 will silence the nay-sayers.

The movies of ASB on ign look great. I like:
                        Umpire calls now
new batter pitcher graphics (the 2002 stats for batters...love that)
the shadows on the players now
the movie 1 with no crowds and birds chirping. Is that a new stadium?

                        ---

Also both Pooppypants and Guru happen to share the same IP address when they get home.

                        Is it one person?
Are they actually two or even in the past three Acclaim employees using the same IP?

Are they misleading people on this board? Absolutely

I really feel sorry for people who don't see what if fundamentally wrong. My guess is most of you are too young to understand or simply want him here since he can provide ASB info.

Business Ethics... Look it up folks. My 2 cents would be that if we truned over all these posts to Acclaim (which we are not) he might just be out of a job.

Discussion CLOSED. Guru is gone. Ghost of Guru is gone. If we decide to change that you will be notified.
