Interesting, I have the same issue, but thought it was just me. It happens at random times of the day for me as well. I will time out, then about 15 seconds later I can refresh.

I'll get the host to look into it. It has happened to me ever since we moved to the new server and figured it was just me.

Phew! Thought it was my job. Figured they were giving me hints that I actually should be working...

It has happened to me twice today already, so I don't think it has anything to do with the time. My connection doesn't seem to be going out either.

Interesting. I haven't had any issues in a long time. I haven't been online much today due to family obligations, but it seems others have had problems for a while now. Very strange.

I usually get it around 2 to 3 AM. Last for about 10-15 minutes then I'm good.

It seems like every night/morning right at 2 AM, when I refresh the page, it times out. Been like that every night for the longest time for me. Can't explain it.

Same here, I get it at 11:00 PM every single night and it lasts for a few minutes and then goes back to normal, I assume you are EST so it would be the same time as myself. I assume it had something to do with the server updating since it happens every night at the exact same time, other then that I never seem to have any problems.

There is a nightly backup that occurs. That could be it.

At the moment we have people working on the new OS. The DB gets touched sometimes, and it could cause some slowdowns. You may need to bear with us for a couple of weeks until the new OS is ready. Kind of like being around a construction zone Once we are done we'll do a bunch of optimizing and server upgrades to ensure all issues are resolved.

I've been having a problem with the forums today where if I click on a thread, it will load but will kick me back to last page automatically.

So if I post, it will post and then go back to where I was typing the post.

Well this issue is back at it again for me.

Oh wow, I just read your problem... I've been having the same thing happen as well.

This is in Firefox 2.0.0.3 with no add-ons.

I'm assuming that's what just happened.

If that's what it was, is there any chance that the nightly backup time could be moved later in the day? We seem to have quite a few people still on after midnight. Not that the backup takes for ever or anything, just annoying.

I have no idea how hard that would be to do, so if it's hard to do, just tell me.

Well this issue is back at it again for me.

I see it as well...it's not all the time, it's pretty weird. I thought I was going crazy for a while, but thankfully I saw this thread.
