Over the last few days, I am sure most of you have noticed the arrival of many former staff members. You will also see a new color for a few of them (Purple), and I wanted to clear up what exactly is going on and the way the new system will work.
The red names you see are Operation Sports Staff. Steve, bronco, hdaniel, and I are included in this group.
The new group, the Senior Forum Staff, include fishepa, Sully, TJ, and TheLetterZ. These 4 are my, for lack of a better term, cabinet. The Four Horseman of OS. They will be around to advise me on decisions, and to be the leaders on the forums when I am not around. They will now show up as dark purple on the forums.
The orange names, the Senior Moderators, contain the three members of the forums that directly watch over the normal mods. They perform most of the operations of disciplining "problem" users. Psyblast, Altimus, and ExtremeGamer will be taking on these roles immediately.
And of course, the regular moderating team, the greenies. They are the first line of defense.
The team was brought on because the forums were gettig out of control. The initial idea was to lower the number of mods and concentrate the firepower. Then, chips started falling in place, and now you have the team you see here.
The forums are getting cleaned. Starting now.
