    This happened to me as well earlier in the week. I thought I was getting it from Facebook, but after seeing this thread, it looks like it came from here.

    The one I was hit with was Vista Antispyware 2010. AVG caught it right away but I still had to run Super AntiSpyware and it got rid of it.

    I have been spending most of my time on the MLB2K10 forum.

    Haven't been hit with it since Thursday, but it looks like it's still hitting certain parts of OS.

    Hope it gets resolved soon.

        Do you have Firefox ABP(adblock plus)...if not, i would suggest it.

            I got ABP after I was hit by this earlier in the week and it is great.

                it all happens on the PC's thank god for my macbook. there is all of 2 viruses for these computers lol. but i got this same virus in the past it is one stubborn SOB to get rid off.

                    I think I got a virus from OS on my PS3 (which I do some internet browsing on). Just recently it's been asking me everytime I'm on a page here at OS to run a plug-in. I usually say no, but maybe a few times I've said yes when prompted while on this site so I could watch an embedded YouTube video or something. But it's asking me everytime I go to a new page on these forums.

                    Since I'm on my PS3 (no alternate operating system or anything installed), I don't know for sure. But I just think it's strange it's asking to run a plug-in recently, and I see this thread pop up around the same time.

                    I definitely won't be doing any more OS browsing via PS3 after I get this thing cleared up. Too risky, I shouldn't have taken the chance in the first place...

                            Got it from the MLB 2K10 forums Gave me XP Antivirus, and I have a Vista
                            Luckily, MalwareBytes took care of it, had to change the extension and rename the file for it to work.

                                        This is some SCARY stuff. My cable co. shut down my highspeed internet due to a signal that was coming from my cpu/ip address. They shut me down 2X's and told me if I did not get my cpu/laptop swept and have proof that it was done that they would permanently ban me from havint there service. Don't know if they were bs'ing me or not but I had it done last week.

                                        They told me that I had an "unknown virus". Not trying to place blame but I felt that I had gotten it from here

                                                        Got infected yesterday. Had the IT folks at work do the "restore thing" to some previous date and it was corrected. Of course I just saw this thread now. I am not sure if I am infected again because when I open my brower I get that "display non secure....." pop up box which I click on no. Now when I go to this site or any other site that I am registered with, I have to log in each time. It doesn't "remember" me. So am I out of the woods yet? What happens if I click on yes to the "display non secure" pop up box? Any help will be appreciated.

                                                            When I was on the main OS page earlier, Norton said it detected a "tracking cookie." This was the main page, as I was typing in my log-in name. I blocked it...but didn't realize there may be an issue
