Sorry I have been MIA on the boards during this.

Anyone that knows me knows that I adore ***** ****'s Day. It is a great chance to allow everyone to have a little fun at OS. I pride myself on running a tight ship, and today is one of the days I allow my staff to let loose.

Last night, I activated the avatar pranky, and many of the censorship pranks you still see. A few guys had some fun with users they are acquainted with (JJ was extremely well humored during this) and changing some forum names (ice soccer still makes me chuckle). But a few minutes ago I got a phone call about the David Ortiz thread.

Let me start by saying that, on the surface, it may seem like a funny **** to some. But it truly is not. You are taking a real person and humiliating them. Some of the things that were said by the impersonator were downright idiotic, and I am ashamed to even have my name attached to people that I brought on this site's staff. They are an extension of myself, and should act accordingly. Due to the actions of the involved (who I will say right now have been identified initially as Ryan36 and Pared), food has been taken off of my table, and I am no more happy about it than any of you.

Moderators are not above the rules here. And I will show that when I get home tonight. I do not take well to people possibly costing me money and relationships that I covet.

I will adress this all in full later. Again I apologize to those of you affected by this.

Well said. The rules should ESPECIALLY apply to mods, considering people have been banned for lesser actions
