    3%?

That's a pretty generous percentage. I'm willing to wager that the percentage of people that use multiplayer franchises is less than half a percent.

Now, online multiplayer franchises, that would be entirely different...

You're right about the 3%. I was going to put that that number was very generous, but I said the hell with it and just left it as is. Whatever the percentage is, it is something so miniscule that I can't believe people bitch about it.

while it annoys me quite a bit, it doesn't surprise me that people here bitch about it, because that .5% who uses that is most likely a visitor to OS or sites like it...

Not buying a game because of a shade of color? Hell, I don't care if they replace the Yankees uniforms with a XFL team's uniform, as long as the game is good.

A gamekiller is something that makes the game impossible to play. Like it freezes in the 5th inning and it's impossible to work around it. It's not when there isn't a feature that you want, or a uniform isn't right. If a clothing color being wrong makes a game unplayable, maybe they should sell their console and buy some fashion magazines instead.

Game Killer to me could be like NCAA Hoops. You can have players on your roster magically duplicated, you can have games lock up constantly. YOu can also lock up after recruiting is over because of the roster duplication. Unfinished product.

I guess Madden 'could' have been that way with the Xbox draft import bug, but they did rectify that.

If anyone played SWKOTOR and experienced the 'Carth' glitch THAT was an AWFUL game killer. Bioware acted completely irresponsibly about it to make it worse....and then the game won all sorts of awards...

Also the 'white screen of death' on Pirates of the Carribean would be a game killer.

I like the term 'puchase killer' as an alternative. That is a personal thing. ALthough I don't really care about equipment and shoe styles, I guess some people do. I quite honestly don't really care about batting stances too much either. To me I'd rather have year by year 'baseball card' stats for a player than proper batting stances. But is that a purchase killer? NOOO. If I found out that the SS would have an error every game no matter what, yes that would be a purchase killer.

But the bitch about it is, that we don't find out about these 'purchase killers' until AFTER we've made the purchase!

A gamekiller is something that is so bad in the game that it takes away from the enjoyment of the game and makes the game either worth returning or burning. Whichever comes first.
