Unfortunately, I think what we are dealing with are simultaneous issues between both OperationSports as well as Photobucket. I have seen evidence that Photobucket is having display problems, while I have also seen evidence that this is an OS problem, so I can't pinpoint it.

As you will see on the very first post of my thread, I have a little bit of everything - gif, jpg, and png files, and none display properly (at least not for me) on any desktop computer, either at home or here at the office (I use both I.E. and Chrome, and also tried Firefox and it didn't work). It also does not display properly for many other users here. It displays properly on my work I-phone, but not properly on my personal I-phone (I should add that at this very minute, they work on my personal somehow, but that hasn't been the case until literally this morning). On my Amazon Kindle, all links that involve me putting [IMG] tags around them don't work, but any links that I use HTML to post pics show up fine. On the last couple of pages of my thread, I began using IMGUR for my pics, and those work fine on desktops, but the same issue on my Kindle involving [IMG] tags vs. HTML exists even on the IMGUR pics.

What makes me think this is a photobucket issue is because if you refer to this thread by Manning2Harrison, you will see that most of his images don't display properly (again, at least that's the case for both him and I). However, on the very last page of his thread, after he created a brand new photobucket account, those pictures work fine.

What makes me think that this is NOT a photobucket issue, is that the images that BurghFan posted in this thread don't work at all for me. However, the images you've posted all work fine. I also tend to think that it isn't a coincidence that the problem started right around the time I believe OS switched servers.

There is a chance that the PB issue and the OS issue are related somehow. Perhaps the issue originates with PB, but each users' DNS caches are getting messed up, causing other images with similar link names to not show up. However, this doesn't explain why I can see the images perfectly fine on my phone nor does it explain why the techs at PB can see the images in my thread on desktop computers just fine and why I can see Marvin2Harrison's last thread page just fine.

I've been in touch with PB techs for weeks now and we can't pinpoint why I can't see what they see. We've tried flushing my DNS, deleting history, deleting cookies, and nothing works.

This is the latest thing they told me, which doesn't make sense because as far as I can tell, all of my photobucket links start with HTTP.

Thanks so much for your patience. I have heard back from our engineering team and based on the screenshots provided and some testing, it looks like the "https" is causing the issue.

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to support HTTPS links. You will need to remove the "S" from the https so that your images will display on the site.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Let me know if removing the "s" from the https does not resolve the issue.

EDIT: And now my phone is doing the same thing as my Amazon Kindle - [IMG] tagged images don't work, only the ones that involve the use of HTML (I.E. the pics in my dynasty report that are "boxed" with captions underneath)

None of those pics worked steve but when i switch to the 1.0 version layout of the forum then they work so its definitely a 2.0 layout problem, using chrome, ie, safari, even edge same problem on all

I'm able see them using 2.0 in Chrome.

....and now after posting that picture I see why the PB support team thinks my images say https rather than the http. Why would this be? All of the images are http as proven below:

I confirmed with them that the plan I have, the one one tier below the plus-500 plan, should be working. For my purposes, unlimited linking is all that's necessary. This is further confirmed by the fact that I can see the images on mobile devices.

Cool, there is definitely something odd going on. Especially since changing forum themes makes images work for some people.

For me it's not just my pictures, it's any pictures outside of avatars and ads. Everything was working fine until fairly recently.

My phone and tablet are both running Android 7.0.

When I switched to 1.0 forum layout I can see pictures. I can't see them with any other layout.

All those test pictures show up as empty boxes. Using safari on iPad with OS default 2.0.
The pictures show up fine with 1.0 at work skin.
