Is anyone able to open packs?

It tells me I have 10 packs to open. From pre order, rewards, etc. But every time I try to open one it says there is either a problem with the FUT server and asks me to try later. Or it starts to then gives a generic error and returns to the main menu.

Found a bug in the Transfer List. I purchased the catalogue upgrade from 30 to 80 cards in the Transfer List pile, the list shows 80 slots available but I can still only actively list 30. This applies to both the game and the web app.

Knowing how important FUT is to EA, I'm sure they're already on it. But I thought I'd give you guys a heads up just in case.

Yep ran into this same thing. I can have 50 in my list but it only lets me post 30 for sale. I too hope it is fixed.

I have a pre-order FUT bonus (59.99 version) that I know I won't use. I can give the code to anyone who wants it and possibly trade some gifted career mode catalogue items that would be more useful to me. Just hit up my profile page if you have any interest.

Of course now I play a guy with Cristiano ****ing Ronaldo. His gameplan was get the ball to Ronaldo and fire off long shots all day. My 60-ish rated defenders couldn't keep up with him. Of course he hits one of those long shots in like the 80th minute. Lost 1-0. Dumb.

Might just stick to playing offline on FUT.

Is there a penalty if you put something on the transfer market and it receives no bids?

I just put a player on the transfer market, and I put him a little high, trying to get lucky and have someone overpay a bit. Right when I submitted it I though, "Oh, I hope I don't just lose it if nobody bids on it"

No. The card will stay in your transfer list after the auction expires.

I bought the Ultimate Edition but the old lady at Target gave me the 15 card pre order promo code slip. I can't mix both UT and the Promo card right? I am afraid if I use the 15 card pre order code, it'll negate my 40 pack UT code? Anyone know? If yes, I'll just return it to target.

You know I am sticking to offline until I build a solid core. As much as I like to play online it's no fun getting roasted during release. I used to buy lots of packs so this year I'm planning on gradually building and only relying on my weekly packs and trading at least for the PC version. No good cards yet but I'm targeting a cheap good squad

That is happening to you on semi-pro? Semi-pro is really tame for me.

I've found semi-pro and pro to be dead easy. But that's because I'm using my worst possible team: almost all in the 50's, a couple in the 40's, like 45% chem.

As soon as I sub in high rated players, the CPU gets harder. Just subbing in one 80 and a 73 made a huuuuge difference.

So you can imagine, if the CPU can handicap itself based on the ratings of your guys on the field...

I agree with this 100%. Thanks for confirming what I was investigating. I went back into that semi pro tourney with a bronze squad and walked out tourney champs easily.

There is also strange chemistry voodoo. I had an all prem squad except I had Iraola at RB. 100 chem. The team was ok but didn't feel like a prem league all star squad which it is. I bought Sagna last night and replaced Iraola and that one change made a giant gameplay impact.

All this mystery coding makes my head spin. If Iraola in there made the chem 85 this would make sense. But to go from 100 chem to 100 chem. you just gotta roll with the ea madness...

I won my first tournament last night. Gold cup. I took my Mexican League silver team through the quarter finals. Then used my gold squad for the last two games. I won on PKs in the final.


I pulled Pique out of my reward pack.

I bought fifa points. I've already opened a few packs and got nothing. I still have some left over, but I'm thinking I should wait until TOTW, TOTYs, and all rare packs are released. What do you guys think?

Plus, what do you guys do while building? Just use an all bronze team (from starter packs) until your team is built?
