You guys are great. The assistance is MUCH appreciated! Just listed like 20 +60 Fitness cards and 10 or 15 players on the market. I don't ever let my players fitness get below 40 so I don't really know why I'd need a +60 fitness?

1) The 'training' cards, only apply to the next time the player is used correct? It isn't like a 'forever' boost?

2) I'm not sure I understand 'work rate'? Should I always go after high/high? I see 'low' and it makes me assume dude is lazy LOL.

training cards are for 1 game only. I sell all my training cards that are worth something. I don't bother using those.


instead of using fitness cards you can have 2 teams. 1 starter team and 1 fitness team. you rotate them every other game and that will save you fitness cards.




work rates all depend on the formation you have and the players positions. defenders (cb) I prefer having medium/medium or medium /high. lb and rb positions I like having high/medium so they join in on the attack.


at striker I prefer high/low - medium/low - high/medium. so they will be attack orientated over someone who will track back on defense.


if you post your formation its easier for me to see what work rates work best for the positions.

id put Rafael back in at rb over ivanovic. I wouldn't be playing welbeck at lw move him to striker and podolski to lw. you work rates look good for your squad. I would find a replacement for mertersacker at cb though.

man, Cerci is deadly in this game. I put him in as a striker in he scored six goals in two matches for me, helping me avoid regulation. I was planning on selling him but I don't think I can now.

Usually I have Benteke as another striker instead of Cerci but after how well I've been doing with Cerci I'm thinking of just selling Benteke. Any recommendations on what I should improve on?

Started with the Juve trio in midfield and in the back, and spread it out from there. Abate and zuniga shut down every counter attack real quick. Im loving this team so far.

Edit: Also, how do you guys prevent yourself from buying packs??
I wasted $40 real dollars on packs, got an in form lahm, that's how I afforded this team. After that I wasted 90k coins, and got no one but jordi alba, who I could've bought for 25k coins. It's just too much fun buying packs, until you realize you wasted everything and you got nothing.

I'm fine with selling any player, really. I don't have much of a budget, but I am sitting on 10k coins right now.

What exactly is the difference between LM, CM, RM? Obviously I know left, center, right--but if I run a 4-3-3, the midfield consists of 2 CM (one on the L and one on the R of the CDM or CAM), so why aren't they labeled as RM and LM?

Does it hurt to have LM or RM playing as CM in the aforementioned formation? Or to have a RM or LM playing as RW or LW respectively?

So, the difference between a CM and LM/RM is where they play on the pitch. Imagine the field divided into quarters lengthwise (read: up and down, not across). CMs, whether they are CAMs CMs or CDMs, they will be positioned in the inner two quarters of the pitch. LM/RM, or wingers, will be positioned in the outer quarters of the pitch. You can see this by going to the squad screen and cycling through each formation while looking at the small image that shows the formation with white dots.

In terms of gameplay, the main differences between CMs and LM/RMs are that LM/RMs will provide extra width, so that you have more room to work the ball around in your buildup play. CMs play more narrowly, making it so you can have more direct short passing in your buildup.

The other effect is with chemistry. Playing a LM/RM in a spot labeled "CM" will cause the player to be considered out of position, thus drastically reducing their chemistry. And since a player's stats are based on their chemistry level, they will not perform as well as they would in their normal position.

Things get a little gray when you play, let's say a RM, at RW. Since the RM is playing on the right side of the pitch, he won't get as big of a chemistry hit. A lot of times you can build teams where you have CMs playing as CDMs, CAMs as CMs, LM as LW, and still get full chemistry.

So the way I see it, Benteke and Martinez are filling the same striker role -- target man. That's to say they are the type of striker who can hold the ball up, win it in the air, and sometimes make a run. IMO, I like having one striker that can do this, and then another striker who is more of a speedster to get behind the defense.

So my suggestion would be to replace either Benteke or Martinez with a faster ST. The easy thing to do would be to remove Martinez and put in Eduardo Vargas from QPR. If you prefer the way Martinez plays, but you want him to be on full chem, then you would need to make the following changes:

Benteke (out) -- Vargas (in) ST from QPR
Tiote (out) -- Sandro (in) CDM from QPR
McGeady (out) -- Quintero (in) CAM from FC Porto
Sagna (out) -- Danilo (in) RB from FC Porto

IMO, I would just replace Martinez with Vargas and see how you like it.

I do agree that having a speedster at striker would probably help a decent amount, as I mentioned earlier when I put Cerci at Striker, that guy just scores like crazy.

If you want to keep Benteke, just replace Martinez with Vargas. The only reason to do those other moves is if you would rather play with Martinez.
