Les Gones: An Olympique Lyon Career Mode (FIFA 15) Episode #6
Match day six featured a battle of French heavyweights with hosts PSG taking on rival Olympique Lyon, and to the delight of those in attendance at the Parc des Princes, it was the home side that cruised to victory, defeating an overmatched Lyon side by the score of 3-1 on goals from Lucas, Javier Pastore, and an own goal from Henri Bedimo

Les Gones: An Olympique Lyon Career Mode (FIFA 15) Episode #7
Romain Philippoteaux's 90th minute worldie did little to dampen the glee of the Stade Gerland faithful, as they heartily cheered their heroes to a thrilling 2-1 triumph over visiting FC Lorient.

I am in the summer transfer and I have gotten lucky in the youth scouting and have three goalies who are highly rated for their age.

One is an German GK who is rated a 84 (23 years old, 90 jumping all GK stats between 82-88)
The other is an Italian GK who is rated a 83 (23, 88 reflex, 79 handling)
The other is an English GK who is rated a 78 (21)

The German GK was a 84 last season (was starter)
The Italian GK was a 79 season and is now a 83 (back-up)
The English GK was a 73 season and is now a 78 (did not play, but Has potential to be special status).

If you had to sell one of the goalies, which one would it be?

Man United career mode year 7.

No De Gea anymore. The 3 Goalkeepers are on the senior roster, along with another lower rated goalie. I want to sell one of the three goalies, because the 3 GK all might be in the 80s soon, which would be an excess.

Okay that helps. I would sell one of the top 2 rated, whatever gets most cash and have english keeper for backup depth. Use that cash from sell to strengthen any other positions in field. Depth is the key, with all the cup matches mixed in schedule.

Cech looked dismal for Arsenal. I never really liked him, but seemed like he made it an easy day for west ham with his errors. Nice pick ups....Dont you wish there was a way to continue the career into fifa 16? Thats the reason I have given up on my liverpool one. You can have Sterling, big baby.

There's no doubt he's a quality keeper, but if he wants to have an off day against West Ham I'll gladly take it I would love to continue the career but then again I can't wait to use guys like Payet and Ogbonna in FIFA 16, it's gonna be a lot of fun!

Re: *The FIFA 15 Manager Mode Thread*

Doesn't anyone play as small teams in the lower divisions in manager mode? I started with Burton Albion in league 2 and took them to the championship. I simply couldn't get them into the Premiership. I did take Sheffield Wednesday up from the championship. We went up via the play offs. I must say that the first play off matches with two legs were truly incredible games. The best matches I've ever had since I started with the first FIFA on the mega drive.
I play on legendary level and it's hard but a real challenge. Surely the real skill at FIFA is to slowly build your squad from scratch with little money. When you have tens of millions to spend its not quite the same.
In real life I wonder how managers like Alex Ferguson would have done in the bottom league. And before Chelsea and Man City got rich they were nobody's and would never have won a thing. Having unlimited money makes even mediocre managers look good.

Manager mode is pretty much all I play, but I'm still using FIFA 13 because of the search engine it has. I like being able to search by overall.

Is FIFA 15's transfer search the same as FIFA 14 or different?

Some insight would be much appreciated.

                          Euro 2020

Euro 2020 was a strange tournament for the Norwegian National team. After several months of experimentation with the squad, and some unimpressive results (mostly 1-1 draws), Martin felt his side was ready to take on Europe’s elite. Norway was placed in Group A, which was seen by most in the media as the “group of death” with tough sides including the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Poland.

Norway’s first match was against the Czech Republic in a very offensive match where the score finished 3-3 after Norway gave up some embarrassing goals in the first half, after dominating the possession of the ball. In the next game against Poland, Martin decided to rest most of his starters for the next match against the Netherlands, so he put out a weaker side. It was a good decision as Norway easily disposed of Poland 2-0. The game against the Netherlands was a disappointment, as it ended in a 3-2 loss in what was most likely Norway’s best game of the tournament so far.

Norway advanced to the knockout stage of the tournament after finishing 2nd in the group with 4 points on goal differential over the Czech Republic. In the Quarterfinals Norway faced off against France, who was the class of the tournament up to that point. The game started out poorly for the Norwegians, who conceded 2 goals in the first half, both scored by Remy Cabella. Norway started the second half better, and managed to tie the match 2-2 with goals by de Lanlay, and Berntsen. In the 83’ France scored to make it 3-2. Norway was unable to score in the remaining time, and was eliminated from Euro 20. The defense was a notable problem for the Norwegian team, as most goals conceded were relatively weak.

France would go on to lose to Germany in the Semi Finals. England would go on to defeat Spain in the other Semi Final to face Germany in the final. Germany went on to defeat England 2-0 to win Euro 20.

I started my first ever EPL CM. I've never, ever started as an EPL team. I've always either worked up from the lower leagues, or taken a job offer a few years into the career. So I picked Chelsea. After the first pre season game, Hazard demanded to be transferred. Not the "just kidding I'm staying" kind either. The moral status of Leaving kind. The board even said, ya we will back you in what ever you do, but you should sell him. So I sold him to Barca for $85.5M. Then used that to buy Cavani and Giovanni dos Santos. Also did a bunch of smaller moves, no big names.

15 games in and in first place (10-3-2) with 33 points. One one point over Man City. They have us by 18 on GD. Aguero has 22 goals already! Lost to Stoke in the R16 of Cap1 cup. Also finished first in group stage for UEFA (champs cup). Finished with 12 points, 3 wins and 3 draws. PSG was in our group and finished dead last with 2 draws and 4 losses.

Four games left in December and my roster is a mess. So many injuries. I had to start recalling loaned players just to have enough for a full sheet in a couple of games.

I have a feeling I'm about to go on a long winless streak. So many long term injuries. dos Santos, Costa, Cahill, Oscar, Willian, Zouma, Matic and Ivanovic are all out 4+ weeks right now.

                              Hey Guys,

haven't posted in here in a long time!

Been playing my CM again (although it is dwindling now for 2 reasons, 1 - the new fifa coming soon and 2 - I feel like I've 'completed' the game)

After 4 or so years with Valladolid, building a really good squad up, always challenging in the league and Europe (due to boredom and skipping matches i never won a single trophy) I applied for and got the Chelsea job. I subsequently won the league and champions league.

One thing i noticed though, is the lack of transfers teams have done. Chelsea had a full squad of old, not even playing players, a few rubbish youths and an obviously strong starting XI.

I really hope EA do make the changes needed for the new one in Career Mode, I enjoy playing it but there is so much it needs to do, clubs like Chelsea, etc are always getting rid of players and buying in new ones, etc.

I think the years of playing Football Manager has heightened my expectations, but surely on PS4, such a powerful console, tracking of stats, etc should be a given? or am i expecting too much?
