Re: Official FIFA 15 Custom Team Tactics (AI) Thread
haha, sorry guys, I thought this one was obvious. All you have to do is have a second controller plugged in. You take control of the CPU before you start the match. Fairly straightforward.
I think you have to have selected in your career mode creation screen the ability to "control AI team" or something?
Otherwise, yeah, you just click the Select Sides button, take control of the CPU team, and you're off and running. You can even do that in the middle of a match.Comment

Tanks for the effort!
Edited Aston Villa to:
Pass distance 100
Passing 0
Crossing 100
Shooting 100
Played Arsenal VS Aston Villa and still NO shots from distance from the CPU, very rare long passes. Same CPU boring gameplay unfortunatly.

Re: Official FIFA 15 Custom Team Tactics (AI) Thread
The most important slider changes are these:
User and CPU speed: 50
User and CPU acceleration: 50
User pass error: 50 CPU pass error: 20
CPU pass speed: 35
User marking: 42 CPU marking: 62
User and CPU run frequency: 50
User and CPU line height: 75
User and CPU line length: 42
User and CPU line width: 32
User and CPU FB positioning: 100
The rest of the sliders are not important and won't alter the CPU style of play.
They should be played in Legendary with slow speed and Legacy defending (this changes the way the CPU plays). I recommend full manual.
Long balls are back! You can even leave Aston Villa's tactics by default and you will see them lob, bomb balls forward and switch sides. Legacy defending is a must to achieve variation in the CPU, sorry.Comment

Re: Official FIFA 15 Custom Team Tactics (AI) Thread
Could I choose "download latest" when starting a new Career Mode?
Or will the custom tactics not be in-game then?
Btw. could a default slider settings work better with these tactics? I mean maybe the effect is more noticeable then?? Because right now the hard work is barely paid off - unless you overdo it a lot! Like shooting = 100Xbox One - FIFA 17 - Full Manual - 15 min. - Slow - Legendary!Comment

Re: Official FIFA 15 Custom Team Tactics (AI) Thread
Am I correct in saying that we can now have a specific set for every team in the game? No longer are we restricted to 26 custom tactics? Not saying every team needs their own tactic, but it is possible right?Tradition Soccer - FIFA League & Community

Re: Official FIFA 15 Custom Team Tactics (AI) Thread
Is there any way to make it so you don't have to re-edit every opponent's tactics before every game? Also: is there a way to make it so that I don't have to start every game with a second controller (in order to change the opponents' tactics)?
I tried editing my league's team sheets via the home screen's Edit Sheets option, but it didn't seem to have any effect on the tactics of the teams in my career mode.
Would I have to restart my career in order for those teams to use those edited "favorite" tactics? Or do they always default to the base, unedited tactics (therefore mandating that you must edit their tactics before every game)?Comment

Re: Official FIFA 15 Custom Team Tactics (AI) Thread
Any changes you make from the main edit teams section will not have any effect on an in-progress career mode. To have the settings you make there stick when starting a new career mode, you must choose "Current Customized" and not "Download Latest" when selecting your squads.
Like, if I go in and edit every team in my league's tactics, will I still have to use controller 2 to make sure they use those custom tactics in the actual game?
EDIT: And it's not that big of a deal, but playing games with a second player activated for just a brief second takes away the ability to earn trophies (as well as points to buy packs and shoes/balls/stuff from the catalogue). Is there any way around that?Last edited by torpidbeaver; 10-27-2014, 03:46 PM.Comment

Re: Official FIFA 15 Custom Team Tactics (AI) Thread
Thanks. So if I change the favorite tactics to what's listed in the Google Doc, will I still need to use a second controller to activate the new tactics before I play every game (if I start a new Manager Mode and use those rosters)?

If you do this, the way to test to make sure you're using your squads that have custom tactics is to have one set for the team that you chose. So, when you go into your own tactics, if the one you set for yourself is there, then you're good.Comment
