I notice a lot of what people are saying, I guess that is just their way of making it challenging.

My biggest complaint is that the ball always seem to magically fall to the CPU player's feet in dangerous positions.

Like, I will make a tackle and dislodge the ball, but it is straight into the path of a CPU attacker. I wouldn't complain if it worked like that for both teams, but only the CPU team gets this type of advantage.

It has always been this way in FIFA for as long as I can remember, but when I was playing on pro this year I didn't notice it, and I was kind of pumped up about it.

Until I moved up to World Class, and now it happens all of the time again.

I also notice a lot of the "momentum" where sometimes my players play like gods, and sometimes the CPU players do. So in that respect it does seem to be somewhat "even" that you sometimes get the advantage, but that is probably tied to form/momentum. I don't necessarily like it, but I guess it's sort of understandable.

But the stuff like I mentioned where the ball physics are completely biased toward the CPU is absurd and should not happen. I thought that was a big selling point this year was the ball physics?

Talking about physics, how about on world class when you have a 6'4 cb who is strong as hell go shoulder to shoulder with the other teams 5'8 midfielder and for some reason your defender cant knock him off the ball or they bump and your defender goes flying and the striker continues to go forward and score lol Guess that midfielder ate his wheaties before the game... that grinds my gears

Maybe some of you aren't as good at the game as you think and you should be playing on an easier difficulty. I'm toward the end of my third season with ManU playing mostly on World Class and while the game will always remain a bit of an arcade my team is right where it should be given the quality of my squad.

You all want to play against an aggressive CPU team until they actually beat you and then you hit the message boards because it's easier than taking ownership of the fact you can't read an offensive build up.

The deck isn't stacked against you. You just deserved to lose.

I've watched a few Twitch streams just for the 1u1z and some of the defending is comical at best. I actually have to question whether some of the gamers have ever been to a match in person or played for a team at a basic regional level.

Its hard to read an offensive build up when your players are making random runs and are making a run when you player doesnt even have the ball. Or making a run when you have it at the 18 yard line in your own half.

There are slider sets available that actually plants a brain into the AI. The one i'm using makes it as good as a football game has ever been IMO.

Anything can happen in football, but there is definitely some sort of 'scripting' on FIFA. It's hard to describe but having simple passes go elsewhere on a consistent basis, keepers being invincible and sometimes the AI defenders make blocks as if their legs were 10 foot long lol.

That's really my only gripe with the gameplay, is that ratings between players don't always matter like they should. If I make the effort of scouting a striker with 90 pace and I pay $15M to get him, then when I make a though pass into open space I want him to absolutely burn the 55 pace defender that's nearest to him. Hell, at this point I'll even accept the defender closing the gap a little bit, but there's now way he should ever be able to catch him.

Ratings should matter, but its like when I play against Burnley who barely have a player above 70 goes against man united there is no way the game should feel just as hard as if I was playing against chelsea

I actually don't mind the idea of some kind of multiplier for mismatches like the one you described. It could be based on the average OVR difference between the starting XI two teams involved so that if your Man U playing Burnley, Burnley would have a chance IF you played sloppy. If your play is on point you should win comfortably.

Look I'm all for if I play sloppy I can lose on any day. But the lesser teams play way above they are capable of sometimes. Passing it around like messi and such. Being able to dribble around my defenders who are way above them in ratings. Pushing my 6'3 cb away from the ball when his strength is 91 by a 5'8 midfielder.
