Sofifa is considered cheating in the literal sense, as it shows ratings and the highest rating a guy can develop to, with no consequence attached. But I say who cares? It's your game, scout however the hell you want.

I use both the GTN & Sofifa.

I also use both. I like to take bottom of the barrel teams and work them all the way to Premier. It's a lot of work to do all that scouting. So I do that, but sometimes I use Sofifa to learn more about a player. If I was competing against others I wouldn't do it, but it's my game so why not?

I'm having a "new" problem. I have been turning off the first window for awhile. I went to start a new career today and only wanted to pick up 2 new players in the 1st window. I was able to complete the transfer fee, but I couldn't come to normal terms......... These are guys that I almost always get. Ovr of 59 and 63. Obviously, not starters. I need them for the future/backup reasons, because I only have one RB and four CBs.


They usually want 4 year 2,250 wage and future starter.
They both want "larger" roles. I try rotation and sporadic roles.
Still want bigger roles. I quit, reload, tried again......and a again......and.....a....again. I started a whole new career (just in case I had saved too late and they were stuck wanting more). Same issue.
Before some asks, I offered up to 10,000 a year and no luck (at future starter).


My question is: Did the last patch make it harder to sign players?
