It is. Made me smile when I saw it because I was just expecting a starting 11 of their best with 3 random subs.Comment

Re: FIFA 16 Trial Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours
There is temptation to try to dominate and win the tournament but at the same time when you see other big teams experimenting, it should push you to do the same. I was trying to win the games but at the same time went into each game with a plan of who was gonna play, how long, etc.
Also a big thing is injuries. Pushing\playing too hard may result in injury. In the final game of the group stage I pushed a little to hard maybe for a positive result and Hazard tweaked his ankle so I was like oh oh, time to settle down. Thing that sucked most for me playing as Chelsea was Cesc was injured to begin the tournament and Oscar went off to Copa America.
To me, the big thing was being able to experiment with different squads in a "tournament" environment with teams doing the same rather then the reward. Plus for the 5 star tournament, you get €3 million just for the group stages.Comment

In regards to the pre season tourneys, I did find the first bug last night. I got of of the group stage. But then when I lost the semi game, the board sent me an email telling me they were disappointed I didn't get out of the group stage.

Someone asked me about transfers in a PM. Figured I'd post it here also.
From a quick test just now, it appears to be exactly the same. I did a new quick MM, simmed until the final day of transfer window. And all the teams in the EPL had no or one, maybe two transfers. But more teams with none than anything. Yet I was seeing all sorts of stories for other leagues. So its hard to say what was actually changed because there is no transaction log. But from a first quick glance, it appears nothing was changed with transfers.

Re: FIFA 16 Trial Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours
Here's what I can gather so far. I'm 8-1-0 and have only allowed 2 goals in 9 games online. Scoring is down a TON this year, period! The game plays a lot slower than years past.
Careful Passing is by far the most important aspect of the game. Turnovers seem to be rampant w the new passing system. The difficulty lies w the power not being as assisted as in the past.
One of the biggest and most blatant things I've noticed is that the speed threshold is TERRIBLY low! Speed doesn't kill at all, and it's a MAJOR bug. I'm talking 100% of the time on a dead sprint, the likes of
Walcott, Bale & Ronaldo getting chased down by ANY defender ALL of the time. It's clearly broken and needs to be fixed. Speed is totally neutralized in a terrible way (something that didn't happen in the demo)
This mainly effects co/op as well (which I played w a buddy. We went 5-1-0, and PLENTY of BS saves by the computer made it a nightmare in some games.
The defense has been cranked up to an ungodly level! It's out of hand how overpowering it is now. After reading impressions online, its common place now for 3 goals in a game to be a rarity. I haven't scored more than 3 in a game yet!
I'm so happy w the way the demo played, but the retail copy so far (which did get a patch update when I installed it, needs some work)Comment

If they patch the game offline gameplay wise, I will not install the patch and just play it completely offline. I would rather lose the online goodies and roster updates and keep this awesome gameplay.
The game is not bugged or broken. It just finally plays like real football and you can not simply outrun everyone.Comment

Re: FIFA 16 Trial Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours
I like that 3 goals are a rare in an online game. Unless the person is completely horrible at defense there is not reason for teams to consistently scoring that many goals if the game is realistic. I think it's similar to how Madden's average scores in online games has continually dropped as the game has gotten better and more sim. I know when I watch games on TV I rarely see three goals and when you do it's a complete mismatch/one team just playing like trash defensively.Comment

Re: FIFA 16 Trial Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours
I have zero control over my passes. Tried it with full assistance, no help. Tons of turnovers, really frustrating. Will there be a day 1 patch or is the access version kind of an earlier built?Comment

Try turning the power assistance on if you are having problems.
