Right now on Legendary I'm averaging about 2 goals per game in my Chelsea MM after 3 games. I should be at probably around 3 but my faults lie with my poor shooting. lol

Right now I'm creating good clear cut chances but pulling a Rooney (against Wolfsburg) with my manual shooting.

'Cause I've been playing with default settings, and while Pro difficulty plays great, WC and Legendary are both frustrating as hell.

At first I thought Legendary played better than WC, but I've changed my mind. After playing Legendary the last couple days, going back to WC I see the CPU make way more mistakes.

You CANNOT play legendary without sliders. GK ability would not allow anything in the net as they would catch everything. Also, first touch needs to be turned up so they dont control each hard pass with a perfect touch.

Through my 14 games, I have allowed 16 and scored 16.....For liverpool thats pretty accurate.

Scoring droughts happen...its making half time adjustments and you must try different formations depending on where your struggling whether its on the attacking or defending side. You may need more up front or more in back. Through 14 games, its becoming more enjoyable. I thought through the first 5-10 games that legendary was going to be perfect play from the cpu but the better your D gets and the better you get at build up play, the more mistakes they make and more goals you will score.

Doesn't make sense they'd include a difficulty level that can't be played with default settings, does it?

I agree about the first touch error, but goalkeeping... people complain about them being too good but I don't see that. My conversion rate is fine. It's creating chances that's difficult for me. Are you playing with manual shooting maybe?

3 games ina row with no ####ing goals scored. cpu ai goalkeeper all the way down to 15, still making jaw dropping saves. the cpu defence is ####ing perfect too. on me lik ea cheap ####ing suit. what a *** **** yawn inducing snore fest this is turning into. 14 goals scored in 9 games. good god.

3.5 games zero goals. this isnt even fun anymore. its like i got another job. what am i going to do, go down to pro and smoke the ai every game?

or maybe world class and want to blow my brains out watching them tic tac toe up the field with cesena?

the more i play thsi game the more im horribly disappointed with the ai. who approved this nonsense after play testing?

4 games with 8 min halves. thats over an hour of real time with ZERO GOALS,.

well, time to hold my nose and see if i can tweak the sliders enough on pro to make this game playable. cant believe im actually considering pes this year. whoever was in charge of difficulty should be fired. world class is basically non playable garbage. legendary is boring, real life soccer which sucks becaus eno one is going to play 45 minute halves. sigh x100.

edit: now 4.5 games in, zero goals scored vs legendary. come to think of it...this would make 10 games with zero goals scored on a corner

allow me to repeat. in 10 games this will be, i have scored not once this entire season with a corner. LOL. quality.

I've seen six goals in three games since switching to Legandary with a few slider mods. Not sure what you have going on there.

Yeah I was nervous about the no scoring as well, but played the community shield last night and beat Chelsea 3-1 with a Giroud hat trick (LOL). I had 2 goals in 15' and then didn't score again until about the 70th.

I played using the community sliders--but lowered first touch from 85 to 65 per your OP. 85 was just too much. Everyone felt super clumsy with the ball.

Your observations are right based on your experience and skill and that's it.
But the "real life soccer which sucks.." is just sad imo. For the first time EA have listened to us offline gamers and provided a new AI which is THE BEST in a football videogame ever and you want them again to go back to the unplayable arcade games of the past.

I was having the same issue. I couldn't get any consistent offense on Legendary and it was just too much work. As you said, it would be perfect for 45 min half games.

I went back to Pro last night and was content with the first few games. I think I went 1-2-1, which was an improvement sadly. The only problem I have with it is that is can be quite easy to get around a defender at times. But if you bump up their Marking it can help dull the advantage a bit. Other than that the hard difficulty of the game can still be achieved through sliders.

I haven't even tried WC yet this year as everyone said it sucked. I may end up back at WC in the end as I probably won't even notice the problems everyone else states and it provided a great balance last year for me.
