I think my favorite is when you mi**** a pass and it goes past the intended receiver, but you have a teammate right next to where the ball ends up and he has no idea the ball is there and you can't control him.....until the AI defender gets close enough to beat you to the ball, then you can control him.

The only thing worse is when the ball is almost at their feet. They could stick their foot out and grab it with no issue, but no, they start back peddling away from it. That makes me want to start rage smashing everything in sight.

This just happened to me three times in one game, twice with Benteke and once with Sturridge. Like those guys would back away from any ball. Drives me nuts.

Damn me then, someting´s wrong here, or am I so focused on the game that I´m not seeing this constantly? I do curse against the game lots of times, but mainly for those very hard to pull goals the CPU likes so much. Other than that, I still didn´t feel myself angry or cheated by this loose ball issue. I´ve seen it in broadcasts and other players videos etc, but seriously, I´m not seing that big issue of on my matches at all! At least not to the point that it bothers me, or even remember after each match!

People have provided video evidence up the wazoo of this problem, and it's a plain problem that's easily identified in any game you want to play yourself and open your eyes. It's hardly an accusation to say a problem exists.





You're taking the ridiculous position that EA has purposely coded human AI players to ignore loose balls to create difficulty. It's an embarrassing and intellectually bankrupt position to take.

It really isn't. Video games have used cheap methods to increase difficulty since the very beginning. And this isn't even a particularly heinous example.

I wish I had a video of this but I had a 2 on 1 vs Cech against arsenal, I had Januzaj on the right in possesion and Depay on the left so I took a powerful shot against Cech knowing that he'll kick it out to Depay (because thats the new and improved "logic" of the GK in 16) and SUREEE ENOUGH thats exactly what he does except Depay began to retreat back on defense as the ball kicks out of bounds to Arsenals FB. Unreal... its like as soon as your own teamate AI detects a defender nearby he automatically begins to retreat on defense no matter where the ball is its so absurd.

shocking this is on page 2. its one of the biggest issues of this game and makes playing fifa feel like a chore. last year i played until feb. its only november and im already bored to tears from this game because of how similair teams are and this stupid glitch.
