Anyone else think the crowd is deadly silent. Just played a Burnley v Arsenal while HT in the real thing and found the crowd really quiet especially on the goals

No it does not. I really dont know what youre talking about. Same with you over here like in UFC forum.

I just gave you stats that show fouls are called. If you don't want to listen, I don't really give a ****. The fact is they are in the game. I'll keep playing and enjoying the game. Also it appears from your post that you haven't even played the game and are relying on YouTube vids and the demo. I'll take your opinion with a grain of salt.

So I just realized that the Xbox One only lets you record video for 5 min each so I uploaded 4 clips.

This video is a 15 min half with Liverpool (me) v. Spurs (CPU). As you can see there are 6 total fouls and one card (cpu) given out in one half. I didnt want to see any excuses so I:

- didnt use a ref with high strictness.
- did use dribble moves on the right stick to draw fouls (just used the LB)
- After the first 10 min of play I stopped using diving tackles.

FYI, I missed one of the CPU fouls but the 3rd video shows the free kick after the foul was called.

The last shows the stats.

Fouls at 1:05 (CPU), 2:37 (Me)

Stats show 5 fouls called but remember that Fifa doesnt count fouls that lead to an advantage:

So thats 6 fouls in 15 minutes with a ref that isnt that strict. I'm not saying that fouls are perfect because they arent. There could be a ton of improvements. I'm just saying that people who say fouls arent in the game either dont know or havent played the game (like 81chrisso).

I wish I had a screenshot of my game I played just recently with my career mode going on in the dynasty section with Leverkusen. I played against Benfica in a game I needed to win in order to move on in the preseason tournament (ultimately won 1-0 on a 93rd minute goal). This game was PHYSICAL. I play with the Community Sliders on slow with 10 minute halves and World Class difficulty. This game had 13 fouls called with 3 yellow cards (2 for them, 1 for me) and 2 injuries from challenges. The fouls are there. Some teams that have the more physical players will get called for more, while the more finesse teams that rely on tactical defending will not.

Everyone will get different results based on style of play as well. If all passes are on full assist you can move the ball with ease and rarely see fouls, however tweaking first touch control and the assists will drastically change the game to become more physical as well.

Those are my two cents on the fouls. They are there, but everyone will see different amounts with all the variables!

As far as presentation, we'll see what happens next week with the potential update!

I've seen plenty of fouls (both sides) and the presentation seems fine to me (I'm just sick of the generic stadiums and broadcasts for the lower/less popular leagues).

However, what I haven't seen (and what I thought the OP was referring to) are REPLAYS of the fouls happening. Also, big saves by the keeper get no replays. Sometimes I have to actually pause the game and go into custom replay mode. I know that seems like #firstworldproblems, but I miss the cinematic slow-mos of fouls and big saves happening

You can really see where EA focused their attention for this years game. The transition to frostbite engine and the journey. The lack of attention to detail is what is lacking in fifa 17. Many kits are wrong, players have not been updated (hair, likeness, etc.), presentation has been upgraded and looks pretty good. The PL authenticity is an obvious omission and there is still no explanation for what the La Liga exclusive license will do for the game.

I feel like there will be a major patch coming out to address some of the authenticity issues.

They've been up & down for me so far BUT a lot of that is just me getting used to the new physicality. When I'm playing FIFA, I generally try to stay away from contact for the most part but if you have a powerful CF this year you can really use that new shield animation to your benefit.

I have now played many more games, and am seeing SOME fouls, but nowhere near what they should be, and not even close to what they were last year.

Presentation wise, I'm just wondering where the official PL presentation went, as far as showing the standings and updated graphics for overlays, etc...sounds like maybe this will be patched? But who knows?

Regarding fouls again, does anyone know if it's still possible this year to switch referees in the Kick-Off mode? I seem to remember being able to do this in the past. Perhaps a stricter ref would help.

At first I was thinking the same thing there are like no fouls in this game, but the more I've played the more I see. Getting better at drawing them, etc.

Although to say that the AI does not get away with some fouls that you don't get away with is simply wrong. I replayed a few that the AI got away with where I thought well maybe if I go in slow mo I would see it wasn't a foul.. But they were clearly fouls one was quite ridiculous it really should have been a red card and it was nothing..
