Re: How's your FIFA career mode going?
So? He is 22 and among the top 10 or 15 players in the world potential wise. He is already valued at around 23 Mio meaning that his proper value if you would try to buy him is around 42 Mio. If you actually played him and he grew he is worth around 50-60 Mio pounds that is. Clubs will pay it. I just sold a 20 mio valued Benteke for 50 Mio to Wolfsburg and I have sold dozens of players on. Lukaku I once sold after a single season and 86 rated for 85 mio to ManU. I sold Coutinho for 65 Mio to Bayern and de Gea for 120 Mio to Madrid.Comment

Deulofeu's potential is a bit high, mostly because of where he came from.
Unless you are suggesting he's a future top 10 player irl, which is a bit of a stretch to say the least.Comment

ARSENAL TOPS LIVERPOOL 2-1
LONDON – The post Arsene Wenger era is off to a flying start, with the Gunners winning the Asia Elite tournament over the summer, and now opening their Premier League campaign, with a 2-1 win over a strong Liverpool side. Arsenal didn’t waste any time bringing their new summer signings up to speed, starting German International Shkodran Mustafi at the right centre back postion alongside new team captain Laurent Koscielny, and Swiss International Granit Xhaka in the central midfield alongside veteran Santi Cazorla

Arsenal opened their scoring on the season just 14 minutes in with a beautiful through ball from Mesut Özil, which found a sprinting Alexis Sanchez, who started up top while Olivier Giroud is still not fit after a deep run in the Euros this summer.

The Gunners would hold the 1-0 lead through the end of the first half, notching their 2nd goal 10 minutes into the second half, with youngster Alex Iwobi racing down the left flank and finding an open Özil, who laced a brilliant shot past new Liverpool keeper Loris Karius for his first goal of the season.

This would prove to be enough offense until a reckless penalty from Petr Čech in the dying moments led to a Sadio Mané penalty, to rid Čech of his clean sheet.

Arsenal head to Leicester next week to face the Foxes in their home opener. The defending champions opened their 2016/17 season with a 2-1 victory over newly promoted Hull City.

Re: How's your FIFA career mode going?
Picked up two big wins, in the league 2-1 over Ingolstadt, and in the opening cup game, beating Freiburg 2-0. Both were played with community set 5. The cup match is archived on Twitch; not sure why the league match isn't.

Next up, it's back to Bundesliga action against Hamburg. This is a Saturday fixture following a Wednesday's cup match, so I'll be a bit hamstrung by my small squad. Despite two wins in two matches playing a 4-1-4-1, I have more CBs and STs than mids and wide players, so I might have to revert back to some kind of three-at-the-back formation due to fatigue.Last edited by Qb; 11-01-2016, 10:54 AM.Comment

Re: How's your FIFA career mode going?
no ibra, pogba, mata, smalling or de gea in the run on team.
pogba and ibra came on in the 55th & 62nd minute. i still lost 1-0 on a set piece, where they swung it in and carrick headed home.
then i played west ham, and randolph plays instead of adrian, and there was no payet, reid or feghouli to be seen. not even as subs.
baffling how this kind of bug gets through the final version.
i might go back to championship league, just based on the fact they play their 1st team.Comment

Re: How's your FIFA career mode going?
- 4 70ish STs
- 2 60ish CAMs
- 59 RB
- 76 CB
- 3 GKs
I reckon a 3-4-3 would allow me to start as many fresh players as possible and give me a chance to sub the wide players who will be gassed in the second half. Such is life with a threadbare squad...Last edited by Qb; 11-03-2016, 02:02 PM.Comment

Re: How's your FIFA career mode going?
Hi guys
I'm currently playing career mode with BVB on legendary. I'm trying a 4-1-4-1 formation but I can't create chances. Can you please help me with a formation and especially custom tactic to create chances against legendary CPU.Comment

Re: How's your FIFA career mode going?
I'm just in a tough spot with all my starters somewhat fatigued with only two days rest. And I'm already playing Hector at center mid since I have two other left-sided players, Rausch and Mladenovic. My available reserves (Jojic and Mavraj are injured) consist of:- 4 70ish STs
- 2 60ish CAMs
- 59 RB
- 76 CB
- 3 GKs

Re: How's your FIFA career mode going?
I broke down and bought one. Sucks that I felt like I had to do that to halfway enjoy a game that I play alone. It only helps with the matches you're playing in, tho. The rest of the league is pretty screwed up. It's so much worse than last year. I wish they would give us more control like NBA 2K, MLB: The Show, and Madden do in THEIR "franchise modes." We should have full player editing while in Manager Mode and the ability to control all of the teams in one league, by now. All of the other sports games have it.
Drives me nuts to do say a La Liga cm and in February my 80 rated striker is leading the league with like 12 goals while Messi and Ronaldo haven't broken double digits yet. Or how Santi Cazorla is one of the top goalscorers in nearly every Prem cm that I do while one of Kane/Aguero/Costa won't even crack the top 10.Comment
