Ewwwwww! Criminy they just keep coming up with ways to keep me from buying their games. I was thinking that with the La Liga and Champions league improvements, and nothing much else changed, moving to 19 probably won't bother me so much, but seeing things like that replay makes me want to spend 60 bucks on NBA2K19. Most game now are designed for the spectacular plays, and what we see on Saturdays and Sundays are not being replicated with much faith. I usually go easy on the developers except when they take features out, as I think the sports crowd also has to realize that 'great ideas', which often are just 'what i see on TV', may not be as easy to program (like being able to program 'human error' on the field or pitch at an acceptable rate for the player involved). But seeing animations like that AND the frequency of these spectacular goals in real time really make me question how much QC goes into the release and why I should spend my money on a product like this.
That said, these are the things the beta testers should be pointing out but I'm doubtful such cartoonish flexibility is going to be something they can eliminate/correct at this stage of the development process.
