Hopeful sign for those who prefer more fouls. Played first career game post patch and there were 3 called fouls including 2 yellows. Prior to the patch I would go through most games with no fouls called. One of the yellows was a CPU sliding tackle and the other was a push right outside the box. This is on XBOX Series X.Comment

Re: FIFA 22 Patch #2 Coming Soon - Patch Notes
These days, I just know that my CM saves early in the year are likely not going to last, so I just approach them as experimental. Actually kinda fun because I allow myself to just do whatever, where I'll take things a bit more seriously and focus on realism more once the game settles.Comment

Re: FIFA 22 Patch #2 Available For All Platforms - Patch Notes
So I downloaded the patch and played a few games. I was looking for fouls. First game with Manchester United against Burnley no fouls. Second game 1 foul. Third game 4 fouls, one on the keeper and 3 in the run of play that led to free kicks. I was hoping for a few more but I will keep playing if I see any changes. Last game against wolves was a sliding tackle for a yellow. I did see one standing tackle foul, that really didn't look like a foul but I'll take that over no fouls. I see a little improvement but I still think there should be more, especially at the midfield.
Most people play fifa by holding the sprint button and running away from opponents in between ping-ponging it all over the pitch- that style of play makes it impossible to get fouled. I’m not suggesting this is you but something to think about.
I’m getting fouled 5-6 times a game now, many of them come from dribbling past players (no sprint button) or shielding the ball (L2).Comment

Played 2 games post patch, in the 2nd game the CPU had a player sent off for the first time in ANY match played since getting 22, straight red for a tackle from behind (something else I haven't really seen any of from the AI) as well as having 3 other players booked. Literally hadn't seen more than a single CPU player booked in 120+ games before that so it's either a massive coincidence or they've done a good job on that part of the patch.Yeah.Comment

Does your game style suit to draw fouls?

YA players still have no jersey numbers or names.
When you set your weekly schedule it still resets back after you play a game.
Game also feels in hyperspeed on next gen after this patch... seems like the yearly arcade-mode patch has arrived.Comment

Re: FIFA 22 Patch #2 Coming Soon - Patch Notes
I just always expect to start new CM saves after patches, so basically I view the first couple months of FIFA CM as just messing about and experimenting. I know we get told that we don't need to restart but I swear I've noticed differences before, including with the first big patch this year.
Probably just in my head but yeah, especially with all the bugs, I wouldn't recommend getting attached to any CM saves this time of the year!
Can’t never start a serious career mode save until after the winter transfer window.

I actually try to get mine done before because rosters become unrealistic if you start with after transfer rosters and then have another window in Winter (if you turn off summer transfers which I do)Comment

Already picked up 2 injuries in pre season games, lol. Jonathan Tah out for up to 4 weeks and Amine Adli out for up to 3 months!Comment

Exactly this. I like to start CMs with the original rosters, not what's getting updated midseason. I'll definitely start new CMs after the winter update but I always try to get a few in before then, at least when I'm playing with top teams and I'm familiar with their rosters.Comment

I've sort of been the resident whiner in terms of lack of fouls in both Fifa and Pes for the last few years so I was so pleasantly surprised how much better it is after the patch. In my first game the cpu got a player sent off with 2 yellows in the first have and went on to get a couple more bookings and a few others not booked. I don't remember ever seeing the cpu get a red card from 2 yellows before so that was glorious.
Honestly I'm so happy how the games playing I may just unplug the internet now.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush
