Are you speaking on the PS5 version? Because for me it’s not only visual. My players lose twice as much stamina going into the half and when I start the 2nd half of matches, at least 4-6 players on the pitch are around 3/4 to 1/2 of their stamina. Which was never the case before the big kicked in.

Also the weird thing is that I already had the update and the bug kicked in after 5 matches of play all of a sudden. This bug is a game killer!

Yeah, they have said it's a visual issue only. What do you mean, the bug kicked in? It would be there from game 1, not something that kicks in. It's a display issue, showing -1 instead of the actual true value, basically a lazy coding mistake.

I have Acceleration at 51/51 (many here are using 51/52). What are you at?

Am I right in saying that any bug fixes apply to current saves? So if I play season 1 then wait for the dynamic potential bug to be fixed before I start season 2, it won't affect my save once it's fixed?

My bad. I meant Acceleration, not Sprint Speed.

My Sprint is at 20/20. My Acceleration is at 51/51.

Where is your Acceleration?

So here are my final impressions of fifa 23. I only play CM.

There's lots of things wrong with the game. The problems are with FUT and they just spill over to CM. They won't get fixed as FUT is scripted a certain way to make ea more money.
CM is permanently broken in certain key respects.
I've realised that the only way to enjoy fifa is to always play as a lesser team in league one and two. Same goes for other countries leagues.
As Exeter the gameplay was really good and realistic for fifa.I had so many absolutely brilliant low scoring tactical battles.
However when I changed to Sheffield United with their much higher quality players and playing against former Premier league clubs in the championship the whole game fell apart for me.
It's obvious that the higher quality the team you are the more scripting there is. I know by now when it kicks in and There's zero you can do to stop it. Certain players will aways start doing rediculous skill moves that don't exist in reality. They look ludicrous. But the are important to FUT and those who play it.
Against better teams the gameplay flows less well to accommodate the script. Defenders will be slowed down by the script so the attacker can fulfil its script.
I suspect that most who play FUT don't have players from Salford and Northampton etc.
EA leave the lower leagues alone and it shows. The quality is brilliant with the right sliders.
I dread to think how appalling the gameplay is as man City or Liverpool. It will look insane and be scripted out of sight. Unfortunately, many like this nonsense in FUT.
So avoid fifa at all costs if you want a realistic game and don't want to play as a lower club. The problem is that if you actually get your lowly club into the the championship and Premier league then the gameplay will become rediculous.
So there's no point playing as success is guaranteed to bring gameplay lunacy.
I managed brilliant gameplay whist as a nobody no hope team. But I won't waste my time playing as a better team as its a scripted mess.
It doesn't matter if you are on pc or console, there's absolutely nothing you can do to change this.
If you want the best gameplay then play fifa 20 on pc and mod it heavily.

I also realise I've wasted £65. I fell for it again. At least I can sell the disc. On pc you are stuck with the garbage.
As for the sliders, they really don't matter unless you play as a no hope team. For the scripting will always override the sliders as a top team.

Will I sell or keep for now? I can get a very good price for the game.

I will also delete my five star amazon review as they won't allow me to mention the S word. Censorship by proxy. So that review can go.

I havent bought fifa since fifa 20 ive been heavily on pes the last years untill they ruined their cycle.

I bought fifa 23 for 50 euros and adjusted sliders while playing CM with PSV in the eredivisie and the gameplay is just addictive man and very enjoyable.

Fifa 23 out the box is a arcady mess but with good sliders its a good game.

I also play pro clubs with friends and its also a good game mode not going to lie i play it a lot.

Here are the sliders im using and recommending for a good version of fifa 23 for CM.

Played a few games (still on trial version) and the community sliders play awesome, maybe the best FIFA gameplay I've ever played. Note: I've been away from FIFA for a while.

Still up in the air on getting this game though because I'm so disappointed in the lack of licenses for career mode outside of the larger leagues. I think I read some misinformation from some articles a few months ago saying the National League was included and I wanted to play with Wrexham and try to get them out of there but realize that's not an option now. So then, ok I'll play with my other idea in winning the Copa Libertadores with Boca Juniors but now I see Brazil's league isn't in. Also I'm realizing that many national teams are missing like Colombia and half of South America, Japan, nearly all of Africa.

Does anyone know are these countries that are missing licenses still an option during career mode? Maybe without their official kits and what not? It's just going to really lose immersion for me if they aren't competing at all.

I will say the only reason I may overlook all that is thanks to the community sliders.

EDIT: Ok, maybe there is a generic Brazil league? I may have overlooked that.

Will EA ever fix the electronic board that the 4th official uses?

I first brought this up years ago, like FIFA 17 or so. When there is a substitution, the board incorrectly shows the number of the player coming on in red and the player coming off in green.

It means nothing in the scope of the game but it has irritated me for many years.

I'm nearly finished with my 10 hour trial but have played a good bit with Matt10's community sliders. I'm still on the fence, I think there might be a few kinks to work out still because of this newest patch. I'll probably get it though if I can find a good deal, for $70 I don't think so. I was having a great time with it until last game I had a bad experience where I was able to take 40 shots because the CPU decided to give a 20 yard cushion vs all my forwards. Hopefully that was a fluke because I hadn't had that happen to me yet.

I don't know if you have EA Play but the 10 hour trial is worth trying out if you want to see for yourself. I think it's just $5 a month and you get a little bit of a discount if you buy a game digitally so it almost makes up for that in itself if you go that route. I was really on the fence for NHL 23 but the 10 hour trial convinced me to buy that one.
