I'm going to try the setting to prevent the controller from sleeping. That's one I haven't tried!

I rotate 3 controllers, and put them on a charger not connected to the PS5. I'll try setting them all that way.

Do you only use a single controller? How would you maintain a charge?

I have 2 controllers but I'm an old man so I don't really use the controller for more than a few hours at a time.

This worked for me in FIFA23. Kept it the same ever since.

So far so good for me too! I don't understand why this fixes the problem, but I guess it does. The settings are holding up even when I switch controllers and when I shut down and restart the PS5.

So, apparently this is the key, for some reason!

I had this issue from day one of FIFA 23, and it carried through to 24. I read this thread the other day, and it instantly fixed the problem. I have no idea why, but this works.

Welllll...uhhhhh...it works for a while, at least.

After a few days of no problems, all my settings just reset. I had shut down the PS5, changed controllers, etc. for a few days with no problems. I just now exited UT and all my settings are reset. Ugh.
