Re: FIFA 10 MANAGER MODE Progress thread
Keirrison, a Free Agent 20 year old Brazilian, is 21 years old and is 79 overall but can get into the low 90s in only 5 years or so. If you have updated rosters though he might be anywhere from Barca, Benfica, Fiorentina, or Santos. I picked him up in acreated team MM I had going on and this guy is a beast. Not sure on his value though if you have to buy him.COYBComment

Re: FIFA 10 MANAGER MODE Progress thread
My time at the helm of Borussia Dortmund came to a crashing halt yesterday! I can't say I was surprised. Whatever form I had found towards the end of last season was long gone after the first few games this season. 20 games in, I hovered at 10th in the league, conceding an average of two goals a game, and failing to find the net myself on far too many occassions. My signings up top, Kleber (CF) and Holtby (RW) were beginning to find their footing towards the end, but they didn't develop fast enough to stop the losses. Stuttgart ended up being the nail in my coffin. They scored two goals in the final 10 minutes of play to beat me 2-1 in league play, then the next scraped past me with a goal off a deflected punt to knock me out of the Pokal in the early rounds. Then in our second league meeting, they finished me off and that was it for my tenure. I was dominating my EFA group but that wasn't enough to save my job.
I took a job at Dundee, but the debt glitch gave me the kick I needed to decide to just start over. I think I'm either going to go for Serie A or La Liga for the slower pace of the game, or try and pull a Coca-Cola Championship team up to the prems. Any suggestions for fun teams?GT: Teambayern5

Re: FIFA 10 MANAGER MODE Progress thread
Does the debt glitch happen all the time or is it hit and miss? Finished my Red Bulls season, got an offer from Macclesfield, decided to take it with all the competition of the english leagues and I got it. This was the first time I took up an offer to manage a new team, and it happened on the first try. From reading through this thread it doesn't seem like a hit or miss thing, but more along the lines of the inevitable.Comment

From what I've heard, it happens a majority of the time but not every time. A lot of people save their MM prior and change over and over until it doesn't happen.GT: Teambayern5

Re: FIFA 10 MANAGER MODE Progress thread
Match day 5 was with our new growing rival in the real world, Real Salt Lake. This was a tough, hard fought match. Not much action in this one though.

Re: FIFA 10 MANAGER MODE Progress thread
Watching that clearence hit your player must have sucked. Nice chip though on the breakaway to even it up. Update on my athletico madrid one from a long time ago. We went undefeated for just about the entire season until Real, Barca, and Valencia got us. We went on to easily win the title and I don't know if I want to stay or go yet.COYBComment

Re: FIFA 10 MANAGER MODE Progress thread
Well I kinda got eliminated in the first game for Copa del Rey because I played only reserves while simming it. I guess I will stay there and go for Champions League/Cope del Rey before moving somewhere like Brazil or K-LeagueCOYBComment

Re: FIFA 10 MANAGER MODE Progress thread
Currently in my 2nd season with LA, I am dominating MLS. I thought maybe it was time for me to up the difficulty, but then started a 2nd MM with Chivas Guadalajara in the Mexican league on the same difficulty and the competition is much stiffer. So I'm staying at my current difficulty level. I guess I just created a beast of a team in MLS. Got bids in for a couple of young, highly rated midfielders too. I don't see how I can NOT win the MLS Cup this season and then accept another job.
BTW, got some vids coming up vs Seattle (exciting match!), and a rematch vs New England (who knocked me out of the playoffs in the first season)Comment

I play all my games in any franchise mode (probably why I have NEVER finished a year in MLB The Show. LOL). I like to be in control of all the stats that happen for my teams.Comment

So you just save before you change teams, and then reload and change every time til it doesn't happen? Heck that would be a sweet work around...just makin sure thats what ya meantNCAA BBALL10 PS3
