So you just save before you change teams, and then reload and change every time til it doesn't happen? Heck that would be a sweet work around...just makin sure thats what ya meant

Thanks bayern...totally worth a try then if it happens. I'm runnin with San Jose lol...these guys, not so awesome, but stuck U.S. side.

Not a huge Soccer fan but the FIFA 10, FIFA WC, and PES2010 got me more into it. (Madden was disappointing, heck I'm looking more forward to Sept 28th(FIFA11), than..whenever Madden drops this year.) And last year with Messi vs Ronaldo...totally sided with Messi (Always hated Man U, all about Arsenal.) Then found myself following soccer. And my kids enjoy the games. So I'm learning...pretty much a noob lol.

There a tips thread round here for FIFA10? I'm so playin Amatuer level, and even to me, thats kinda embarassing lol.

Got a Manager Mode going with Rotherham United. Started in Coca-Cola League 2 which I just barely won, moved up to League 1 and I'm currently running away with it. Got 74 points in 29 games so far with the closest competition being Charlton who have 58 points after 29 games.

I was really expecting it to be more challenging once I moved up since I struggled to win first in League 2. It even came down to the last game to see who would win (though both me and the other team, Chesterfield, were guaranteed promotion).

I'm also in round 5 of the FA Cup, about to play Barnsley.

I got 3 MM's going. Galaxy, Chivas Guadalajara and now Everton in the EPL. I never touched an EPL team in MM. Is there promotion/relegation?

Yes. I've moved up from League 2 to League 1 to the Championship with Rotherham United. Another good season and I could be in the Premiership.

Well I basically simmed a season as Newcastle just to get to the premier league and the teams for next season are me, middlesbrough, and I think West Brom beat Reading at the last game. Burnley, Wolverhampton, and Portsmouth were relegated. Haven't ventured into the season yet, only done some preseason games against some French and German teams.

Do y'all do okay with luring players to transfer? It seems I consistently get the same answers from players with a high interest, "...fells like they'd just be another number on your team". Even as an EPL team I have trouble getting players.

I've been able to sign pretty much any player that I have targeted. Then of course I haven't targeted a HUGE superstar. I make sure my negotiator is at least a level 8. Then increase the player salary until their interest reaches an 85%, usually about a little less than double their current salary, and they will almost all the time sign with you. Leave the transfer amount at the market value though.

I just signed Omar Gonzalez to Everton like that. He started out at like 5% interest but I offered double his salary and his interest went up to 85% and signed with me. It will just be up to you to decide if paying a player double is worth it to you and your current financial situation.

Anthony Annan: A younger CDM to help fill in since I plan on going deep into the ECC.

I thought Id share some players that Ive played with and have found very useful over this past MM season that you guys might like to take a look at. This is all for Fifa 10 though since these players fees will sky rocket in Fifa 11. They arent cheap...but they will add depth to teams with some finances.

Chantôme: Covers nearly 8 positions well.
Ovr: 71 (I dont know why exactly, but when you put him in the back at CB,LB,RB, or CDM, his rating shoots up to about 78ish )

Cost: 3.5-4m Euro

Hoarau: He is a big dude at 6'4" who can also pass. Great in air.

David Luiz: I follow Benfica a little bit, so I know who there good players are, and David Luiz is another great Benfica young player. My favorite player on the team behind Cissé and Sessegnon.
