Great showing by Tahiti! Must of been some tough games to get to where you did. It was certainly never going to be easy haha.

And if someone cares, I'll try to get a Hertha update for tomorrow. After it there won't be any for about two weeks because I'm going abroad... again.

Ah you know what I put the code to make everything centered at the beginning and forgot to put it at the end. Just fixed it should look better now. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes I'm still using the 5-4-1. As soon as I regain possession I pass it back to my CB and that's where our attacks begin. If everything goes as planned, I have the most possession and the team pushes up together - I hardly use counter attacks. In the matches against Newcastle and Liverpool where I was behind, I switched to a custom 4-1-4-1 (similar to the 5-4-1) and it really changed the game as both Newcastle and Liverpool were completely on top of us at that point. With the extra man in midfield we had the ball more and were able to push higher up the field leading to our goals in both matches. For next season, I'm planning on switching to the custom 4-1-4-1 since at the end of the season it'll be a season and a half that I've used the 5-4-1.

        Looking forward to the update!

          Burnley FC Career Mode

Firstly thanks for the good response on the first post. Thanks to ChicagoBass who allowed me to use his pitch report idea. Hopefully it will fit in to the whole Press Conference/Interview structure well. Anyway without further ado let's get on with the Career Mode.

Good Morning Sports Fans on Sky Sports
Mike Wedderburn - Good morning and welcome to Good Morning Sports Fans with me Mike Wedderburn

Alex Hammond - and me Alex Hammond.

MW - Our first story this morning is a transfer deal coming from Burnley who are in talks with Brighton and Hove Albion for Jesse Lingard and also with Middlesborough for Nathaniel Chalobah. The Burnley manager OJ was not joking when he talked about wanting to strenghen his midfield during this transfer window. This may put extra pressure on the current Burnley midfield duo of David Jones and Dean Marney. These rumours really do show that OJ is not messing around in his first season in the Premier League.

AH - Also in the news this morning Chelsea move closer in their £33,500,000 pursuit of Borussia Dortmund's Robert Lewandowski whilst Manchester City sign youngster Eric Dier from Sporting Lisbon for £2,600,000 on a 3 year deal. Also a shock move has occured involving Bayern Munich and Juventus as goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has received his requested move to Italian champions Juventus whilst Juve have also signed Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Press Conference before West Ham game

James Lawton of the Independent - OJ can you confirm the rumours of both the signing of Jesse Lingard from Brighton for a fee of £1,000,000 and Nathaniel Chalobah for 1,600,000 and Wallace?

OJ - I can confirm these signings and hopefully they will start against West Ham

Henry Winter of The Daily Telegraph - Why did you sign these players?

OJ - I signed them because they're both unbelievably talented central midfielders, which is the area I felt needed strengthening, and should bring a lot to the team. Indivually I think Nat (Chalobah) will bring heaps to this team. Physically he is one of the best players for his age in the country. He's fast, strong and has excellent stamina. Technically he has room to grow which I think is good but he already shows a raw talent I think is rare to find in someone so young. Jesse is also excellent physically, he is just slightly weak. He reads the game very well and is also quite skillful. He should hopefully pick apart the defences in the league and at this age I think the technical level he shows is great.

Patrick Barclay of the London Evening Standard - Are there any other areas of your team you wish to strengthen before the window shuts?

OJ - Yes, I'd like another Centre Back and a winger if I can get my hands on the money for one. I think a CB should be my priority however. I don't know if I'll be able to sign one before the West Ham game however.

Sam Wallace of the Independent - How do you plan on taking 3 points from your first game of the season.

OJ - Against West Ham I would like to try and keep the ball as much as possible, using Jesse and Nat and the pivots in our team. We'll use the widths of the pitch and stretch it out as much as possible whilst keeping the ball under out control. West Ham are a team who are excellent in attack but lack something special in defense and I would like to capitalize on that. Cheers guys.

Interview after 0-0 draw against West Ham

Geoff Shreeves - OJ, a 0-0 draw in your premier league debut as manager, your thoughts please.

OJ - We had 60% possesion and created plenty of chances, our strikers just couldn't finish anything. Danny and Sam moved well and used their pace and power but they were still slightly off their game today and that's something we'll have a look at in training. It's the first game of the season and there are plenty more to go but I felt today we deserved the 3 points

GS - Jesse Lingard and Nathaniel Chalobah both made their debuts today, how do you feel they played?

OJ - I thought they both made good starts to their careers with Burnley. I thought Nat broke up play very well and together with Jesse dictated the play well. Jesse used his skill to create many chances and I think in these two we have the foundations of an excellent midfield.

GS - You said the defence was where work was needed however it was fairly solid today. Do you still believe a defender is necessary?

OJ - Yes I do. When we come up against the best teams in the division they will cause us problems if a new defender is not brought it. I think we just need some stability at the back and at the moment that's something we lack.

GS - Finally your next game is against Manchester City, will this be a real welcome for Burnley into the Premier League?

OJ - No, I think today was the welcome for us. I think it was a wake up call that if we don't take our chances when we get them, this season will be a long, tedious and disappointing season for us. City will probably be a more difficult game but it is just another game and if we can take points against them, then great. Cheers Geoff.

Pitch report at Turf Moor before Burnley FC vs Manchester City

Well, this should be an early wake up call for Burnley as they plan to take on Man. City. Burnley have only made one change bringing in Nathan Baker, the £1,500,000 signing from Aston Villa. Baker could really be helpful in restricting Man City's attack today as City look to take another 3 points from their 2nd game of the season. City bring in Stefan Jovetic to start with Sergio Aguero whilst Fernandinho starts alongside Yaya Toure. Matija Nastasic starts ahead of Martin Demichelis. Before the match Burnley manager Mr. OJ was bullish stating a tactical change has been made and today Burnley will "attack with pace and defend with power" to prevent City from taking the points. City manager Manuel Pelligrini was calm as he said his team would "go about their business in a similar way" as they did during their 3-1 dismantling of Newcastle last Sunday.

Interview after 1-1 draw with Man City

Geoff Shreeves - Well OJ. what a game of football, your team carried out everything you promised they would and more. Your thoughts on the game please.

OJ - We deserved the 3 if I'm being honest. I thought Danny (Ings) took our goal excellently and for most of the game we were the better team. However this is the Premier League and if you slip for a moment, these teams come back and bite you and that's what happened. Fair play to Manuel (Pelligrini) and his team, they took their goal well. I just felt we deserved more that just the one point.

GS - Your new signing Nathan Baker made his debut, how do you feel he played?

OJ - I thought he defended well for the majority of the game. He was strong as I asked of him. He was a nightmare from set-pieces for City and I thought overall he was very good. He was unlucky with the deflection for City's goal but things like that happen.

GS - Are you planning on doing any more business before Deadline Day?

OJ - If I was I wouldn't be able to tell you so either way, no I'm not.

GS - Finally, your next game is against Hull, a possible relegation 6 pointer. Do you feel your side can win.

OJ - Yes, I do. If I didn't then I wouldn't be in this job. I think Hull have weaknesses and we can exploit them. I hope we can take 3 points from this game and advance up the table. If we don't I think we are going to find this season hugely difficult. I hope we get a couple of goals and show the League what we are made of. Cheers Geoff.

God that was a long write. . I hope you enjoyed it and as always their will be more soon. I am on holday for three weeks from Sunday to the 25th or something. Sadly I will be away from my laptop so posts will be rare. I will try and stay updated on the forum and I'm hoping to get another 3 posts out before Sunday anyway. Thanks for reading and the next post will probably be tomorrow

It was the single hardest career of my life. Harder than my Super League on Legendary. All games were played on World Class. Also, glad you enjoyed. I still can't believe we beat the Swiss

How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

                  March 2015

Manchester United 3 - 1 AFC Wimbledon (Capital One Cup Final)
                  MUN: Valencia 13' Mata 23' Rooney 65'
                  WIM: Kedwell 74'
Match went according to the script, and Manchester United are the new Capital One Cup champions. Chavez made a questionable decision to field a 4-1-4-1 instead of his usual 5-4-1. The formation did not work, and he changed back to the 5-4-1 at halftime but it was too late even though his team played much better. Wimbledon were only able to get 1 single shot on goal, amazingly that one shot ended in the back of Lindegaard's net.

                  Shrewsbury 0 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
                  WIM: Nicholson 84'

                  AFC Wimbledon 1 - 0 Colchester
                  WIM: Kedwell 19'

                  AFC Wimbledon 2 - 0 Port Vale
                  WIM: Çamdal 45' Kedwell 59'

                  Charlton Athletic 0 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
                  WIM: Midson 27'

                  Bristol City 0 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
                  WIM: Sheringham 88' Cooksley 90'

Charlton Athletic 1 - 0 AFC Wimbledon (J. Paint Trophy Final)
                  CHA: Church 81'
Heartbreaker of a match. Wimbledon had been dominating match, but all it took was one mistake for Charlton to get their first shot on goal and ultimately, the championship goal. Chavez fielded an alternative squad for this match, becoming his 2nd controversial decision in just this month.

                  Football League 1 Table
                  1. AFC Wimbledon - 88 points
                  2. Huddersfield - 84 points
                  3. Charlton Athletic - 82 points
                  4. Brentford - 71 points
                  5. Bristol City - 70 points
                  6. Shrewsbury - 62 points
                  ----------
                  21. Gillingham - 34 points
                  22. Oldham Athletic - 29 points
                  23. Stevenage - 29 points
                  24. Rotherham United - 28 points

                  Press Conference

Good evening Mr. Chavez, ChicoBass here from HYFCMG. How are you feeling after losing both cup finals you participated in?

"Well to be honest, heartbroken. We could have done a lot better."

You had said in the past that you really wanted the J. Paint Trophy. Any hard feelings left towards Charlton?

"No not at all. If anything congratulations for Charlton for keeping their heads up the entire game. Either way, we achieved a league double over them and jumped over them in the league table. For the first time this whole season we are first in League 1. Let them enjoy their well deserved trophy, we're going for a bigger one."

You mentioned you could have done better. Does that have anything to do with the players that were chosen for the match? Specifically choosing a completely alternative starting 11 for a match as big as this one?

"If this match was redone I would field the same exact players. These players played all of the J. Paint Trophy matches. It would be unfair to have them get into the tournament finals, and not have them play in it. These boys deserved to play. The important thing now is to keep our heads up. There is still 24 points left to dispute in the league and we can't fall off our stride. Everybody is focused on the Manchester United and Charlton matches but no one has said a word of recognition for our boys who never stopped fighting in the league and are now in 1st place! Yes, a newly promoted team that has only existed for 13 years in first place! No further questions please!"

                  ----------

Well, that escalated quickly and as you can see, the Wimbledon staff are not the happiest at the moment having come so far in the cup tournaments to lose the final. I'd like to apologize for indeed not recognizing the great run Wimbledon are on despite losing the cup. These players have given everything for the fans and are soon to give them an FL Championship team to cheer for.

Despite these great achievements in Wimbledon's history, the team continues to be owned by the fans (The Dons Trust) and Wimbledon-based company Tempest Sports continue to manufacture their kits. AFC Wimbledon chairman and lifelong fan Eric Samuelson has kept his promise to keep the club fan-owned and locally based.

From the King's College Sports Ground for HYFCMG, this has been ChicoBass. Thank you for reading and as always, any feedback/comments are welcome!

                    Brighton & Hove Albion
                    Taking Flight

                    February 2015

                    Newcastle 2-0 Brighton
                    Cabaye 54', Cisse 90'
Man of the match: Tim Krul (Newcastle)

Newcastle dismantle Brighton for the third time this season, as Cabaye and Cisse both beat Brighton's offside trap to find the back of the net, the Frenchman with a delicate chip and the Senegalese with a driving shot.

                    Brighton 1-1 Arsenal
                    Bendtner 85'
                    Podolski 24'

Man of the match: Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal)

Ramsey dictates the midfield for Arsenal, setting up Lukas Podolski within 30 minutes at the Amex. Bendtner is lucky to latch on to a late corner and head home to earn Brighton what could be a valuable point.

                    February 2015
                    Cup: N/A
                    League: 1/6 points

Indiblue's analysis: Absolutely poor effort from us this month. You could say that only six points were on offer against two tough teams, in which case we really should have got another point at least. I expect better.

                    ********************

                    March 2015

                    Everton 0-2 Brighton
                    Bendtner 75', Buckley 88' (pen.)
Man of the match: Kevin Mirallas (Everton)

Despite Everton playing a wonderful game with Mirallas as the focal point of their attack, a late Bendtner screamer and Buckley penalty are enough to give Brighton the advantage and the win.

                    Brighton 1-2 Hull
                    Bendtner 10'
                    Hosni 36', Aluko 90'

Man of the match: Sone Aluko (Hull)

Brighton score early, but Hull come back to equalise before the break. A proper nicked goal in injury time costs Brighton and continues a relatively poor streak of form. Indiblue may be concerned.

                    Cardiff 1-1 Brighton
                    Medel 90'
                    Bendtner 43'

Man of the match: Charles Aranguiz

Yet another instance of Brighton dropping points in injury time, this time to a Medel screamer that cannons off the post and into the net. Brighton's back line need some work, and it will be vital if Indiblue wishes to repeat the success that Brighton enjoyed in the season's first half.

                    March 2015
                    Cup: N/A
                    League: 4/9 points

Indiblue's analysis: Another poor month from us. We dropped three good points between Hull and Cardiff. With us doing so well and them both fighting relegation, it makes no sense for us to switch off like that. I will have to look at our back line and make some difficult changes.

                    ********************

                    April 2015

                    Brighton 1-1 Norwich
                    Bridcutt 20'
                    Lasogga 64'

Man of the match: Leroy Fer (Norwich)

Yet again Brighton drop the points as an incredible effort from Bridcutt, who plays a one-two with Bendtner before sidefooting home, goes in vain when new signing Lasogga grabs an equaliser for the Canaries.

                    Liverpool 2-4 Brighton
                    Sturridge 36', Gerrard 68'
                    Buckley 33' (pen.) 85' 90', Mutch 86'

Man of the match: Will Buckley

It seems that dropping club captain Gordie Greer will pay dividends, as Brighton concede two goals with him on the pitch but repel wave after wave following his substitution. Buckley and Mutch combine to score three in the last five minutes and steal the win from under Liverpool's noses.

                    Chelsea 2-2 Brighton
                    Mandzukic 69', Mata 85'
                    Bendtner 72', LuaLua 79'

Man of the match: Nicklas Bendtner

The league leaders earn a point against a Brighton side much more assured in defence with Lew Dunk partnering Terry Kongolo. Interestingly, all four goals during the rainy game are scored by headers following rebounds.

                    Brighton 1-0 Fulham
                    Bendtner 47'
Man of the match: Charles Aranguiz

Bendtner's header, early in the second half after a cross from Buckley, gives Brighton a good finish to a month that needed to produce points.

                    April 2015
                    Cup: N/A
                    League: 8/12 points

Indiblue's analysis: We did much better this time. The win against Liverpool was incredible, giving us our first league double over a top side. I wasn't too upset with the result against Chelsea, and we managed to finish on a high note with three points. The changes seem to be working, so let's hope they continue to hold fast during what promises to be a tough run in.

                    May 2015

                    Brighton 1-1 Wigan
                    Aranguiz 42'
                    McManaman 40'

Man of the match: Kazenga LuaLua

Two quick goals late in the first half force the game to finish as a stalemate. McManaman beats two men and finishes well to open for Wigan, but Aranguiz has tricks of his own to earn a point for the Seagulls.

                    West Ham 1-2 Brighton
                    Maiga 79'
                    Buckley 34', Bendtner 78'
Man of the match: Will Buckley

West Ham play their hearts out but are not good enough for the combined power and pace of Buckley and Bendtner, who assist each other in a makeshift 4-1-2-1-2 formation. Both score via their weaker left feet.

                    Aston Villa 2-1 Brighton
                    Gardner 61', Benteke 68'
                    Bendtner 44'
Man of the match: Tomasz Kuszczak

Villa nick two somewhat late goals, both tap-ins from seemingly offside positions. Brighton try but cannot secure an equaliser, but their keeper prevents them from conceding four or five goals.

                    Brighton 4-0 West Brom
                    Buckley 41', LuaLua 45', Bellerin 70', Aranguiz 72'
Man of the match: Hector Bellerin

Brighton turn up the heat with a thumping win that relegates West Brom to next year's Championship. Bellerin operates from the right of midfield, scoring a tap-in and assisting two goals with lovely, lofted crosses. Aranguiz's goal is a solo effort, as he dispossesses Diego Lugano in the West Brom box and curls one past a helpless Boaz Myhill.

                    Man. City 2-0 Brighton
                    Götze 25', Jovetic 82'
Man of the match: Mario Götze

                    Match simmed.

                    Brighton 4-0 Swansea
                    Bendtner 23' 51', LuaLa 41' 68'
Man of the match: Kazenga LuaLua

The game is sealed within five or six minutes of the second half, as Bendtner scores two headers and sets up LuaLua to pass into an empty net, who gets a second when he rounds the keeper with a beautiful touch to rack up another easy goal. Veteran defender Adam El-Abd makes a sentimental appearance late in the second half to say goodbye. He joins Kuszczak at the end in taking a lap of honour in front of his home fans.

                    Cup: N/A
                    League: 10/18 points

Indiblue's analysis: We finished the season well. Despite the losses to Villa and City, we manage to stand at eighth on the table when all the dust settles. We did well this season but can do even better. I feel bad for Chelsea, losing out on goal difference to Spurs, but that's the game.

                    Squad Report

GK Tomasz Kuszczak: Made 37 appearances and kept 12 clean sheets. Leaving for Torino this June but has been fantastic over two years.

Verdict: 7.5/10, sad to see him go

RB Hector Bellerin: Played every minute of all 38 games, chipping in with 1 goal and 3 assists. Came into his own during the second half of the season. Excellent prospect with a chance of retaining his spot next season.

Verdict: 7/10, excited to watch him develop

CB Gordon Greer: Made 27 appearances to help record 9 clean sheets, playing well throughout. Given a one-year extension as a squad player to make up the numbers, but unlikely to feature unless required.

Verdict: 7/10, has been a great servant to the club

CB Terence Kongolo: With 35 apperances, has claimed the LCB slot for himself. Unlikely to face competition due to his incredible potential.

Verdict: 8/10, was a steal for the price we paid

LB Aaron Cresswell: Made 37 appearances, minimal contribution of goals/assists. Must add that to his game next year or risk his spot.

Verdict: 7/10, has potential to be much better

CDM Liam Bridcutt: Excellent player who made 35 apperances and notched up 4 assists. Tremendous reading of the game, with impeccable ball skills and incredible athleticism. Will be vital to next season's campaign.

Verdict: 8/10, a crucial member of the team

CM Jordon Mutch: Scored 2 and made 3 in 37 appearances. Managed to hold off the threat to his spot in January with a string of commendable performances. Good but not untouchable if a better option is possible.

Verdict: 7/10, still lacking that extra something

RW Will Buckley: Played all 38 games without missing a start, scored 16 goals, and made 10 assists. Has grown beyond what was expected of him and done a real number. Will surely be a target for many clubs this summer.

Verdict: 9.5/10, must hold on to him at any cost

CM Charles Aranguiz: Led the assists chart with Gareth Bale on 15 each. Made 38 appearances and scored 3 goals. We're likely to receive several offers for him. An excellent player but can be sold on for the right price.

Verdict: 8.5/10, incredible but not irreplaceable

LW Kazenga LuaLua: Made 35 apperances, scoring 6 goals and racking up 4 assists. Again, he hit his best form towards the end of the season after spending many games as a passenger. Likely to be replaced this summer.

Verdict: 7/10, better options out there

                    ST Nicklas Bendtner:
Scored 32 and made 7 across 38 games. Played as a deep-lying forward early in the season but became a poacher later on. A proven Premiership goalscorer, we must keep him at Brighton at all costs.

Verdict: 9/10, would be silly to let him leave

GK Alphonse Areola: Made just 2 appearances across the entire season. Will return to PSG and continue his development with them or elsewhere.

Verdict: N/A, did not play enough to merit analysis

CB Lewis Dunk: Made 18 appearances, mostly during Greer's injuries and loss of form. Will be given a consistent run as starter in the new season.

Verdict: 7/10, performed well with limited opportunities

CB Adam El-Abd: Made 2 emergency appearances during an injury/suspension crisis, and came on for the last 20 minutes of the Swansea game. Will leave the club with our best wishes and gratitude.

Verdict: N/A, did not play enough to merit analysis

LB Adam Chicksen: Made 14 appearances from the bench. Unhappy with his playing time and likely to move on this summer. Average at best.

Verdict: 5/10, will not be missed

CDM Rohan Ince: With 18 appearances in midfield and central defence, he's a wonderful squad player who fills two roles in one slot. Needs more games to become as good as he can be. Likely to impress during preseason.

Verdict: 7/10, has a bright but possibly limited future

CM Pedro Azogue: With 14 appearances, made his mark as an able squad player in both attack and defence. Not always happy with his game time, but easy to placate. Good squad player, likely to stay on this summer.

Verdict: 7/10, a better backup than most

CM Jake Forster-Caskey: Scored a couple of goals across 16 appearances but did not impress enough. Will be loaned out this summer.

Verdict: 6/10, seems promising but doesn't show it

LM Brennan Dickenson: Made 9 appearances without complaining once about his limited game time. Good squad player but one-dimensional. Lacks technical ability and flair beyond pace and agility. Will be loaned out.

Verdict: 6/10, only has pace to speak of

RW Serge Gnabry: Did a loanee's job by playing when called upon. Made 23 appearances and grew well enough to be a backup for Arsenal or a starter for a mid-table side. Possible transfer target this summer.

Verdict: 7/10, incredibly talented and wonderful attitude

ST Yaya Sanogo: Made 8 appearances. Kept asking to replace a hot, in-form Bendtner without considering the team's requirements. Not likely to rejoin Brighton on loan, even in an emergency situation. Lacks a future.

Verdict: 5/10, not a team player

Brighton & Hove Albion's player of the year is Will Buckley.

                    ********************

                    Indiblue's Analysis + 2015-16 Transfer Targets & Projection

Finishing eighth right out of promotion from the Championship is an amazing achievement. Buckley and Bendtner are the stars of this team and vital players of the season, so it will be crucial to keep them at any cost. The board has already expressed confidence in me to continue at the club. I've signed a one-year extension to my contract started planning ahead.

As our academy prospects continue to develop within the U21 system, next season will be a good chance to integrate some promising talent into a more regular first-team setup. Brennan Dickenson and Rohan Ince have proven their top flight mettle and will be given chances during preseason.

Our primary transfer target will be a first-team goalkeeper to replace Tomasz Kuszczak, who is joining Torino at the start of next season. I would like the scouting team to study and compile reports on the following: Fraser Forster (Lille), Jack Butland (Stoke), and Guillermo Ochoa (Sunderland). Any further signings will be dependent on which system we choose to implement and the first team coaches' preseason evaluations. Nothing else is finalised.

We can build from this season with confidence. For 2015-16, the bare minimum is another top-ten finish, ideally no lower than eighth place. In the best-case scenario, we finish in a Europa League spot. Added income from Europe will help us strengthen from within as well as make vital signings that will be necessary for that level of football. I expect us to finish sixth next season given adequate funding or eighth with a substandard budget.

Not a bad month by any means we sit 11th in the table. I took the job as manager of Norway aiming for a long-term project. Unfortunately Norway didn't qualify for the World Cup.

                        December Results

Aston Villa 3-2 Sunderland (Capital One Cup Quarter Finals)

                        Aston Villa 1-1 Crystal Palace

                        Aston Villa 2-0 Swansea

Poor. 8 points from easy opponents isn't good enough if we're going to qualify for the Europa League.
A thrilling match against Sunderland. But we will need to improve in the league.

                        January Results

Arsenal 1-1 Aston Villa (Capital One Cup Aston Villa win 2-1 on aggregate)

Great work, very pleased that we qualified for the final of the cup.
We now play Man United in the final.
Which means presuming United qualify for Europe we will be in the Europa League next season regardless of the result. It would be nice to win it though. Good work in the league, the table will be shown somewhere below.

                        January Transfer Window

WARNING! The following transfers are extremely unrealistic, and may seem pathetic to some people.

                        Out:
Marc Albrighton to Newcastle $4 million

Again our main objective was to hold on to Benteke and we managed to fight of any interest. Not sure what I was thinking with most of those pre-contracts.

                          Becoming the Best

After Ganchev had his mad moment against Borussia Mönchengladbach, the German Football Association have given him a 5-match ban. He will be forbidden to enter the technical area. Ganchev was also fined 12.000€.
"It's a disgrace! Why does the manager and the team have to suffer, when the referee makes a mistake?! Now we will face good teams in very important matches without our manager", Ganchev commented the situation. Hertha BSC's board have officially complained about the punishment, according to Sky Sports and German Bild.

                          November 2013

                          Hoffenheim 2 - 1 Hertha
                          Mame Diouf 23', Volland 49'
                          Ginter 30'

                          Hertha 1 - 2 Bayer Leverkusen
                          Stocker 43'
                          Kiessling 19' (pen), Bender 64'

In Ganchev's second game out the Berliners got unlucky against Leverkusen. The ball hit Schär's arm from a corner, according to the referee. The Bundesliga top scorer from the 2012/13 season, Kiessling didn't miss from the spot. Our star winger Stocker equalized right before the brake with a header, but twenty minutes later Lars Bender found the net aswell with his head.

                          December 2013

                          Hertha 3 - 0 Augsburg
                          Ben-Hatira 28', 78', Lasogga 57'

                          Braunschweig 1 - 4 Hertha
                          Bellarabi 11'
                          Stocker 23', Lasogga 37', 87', Allagui 57'

                          Hertha 3 - 0 Werder Bremen
                          Skjelbred 7', Allagui 31', Lasogga 66'

                          Borussia Dortmund 1 - 3 Hertha
                          Mkhitaryan 3'
                          Lasogga 51' (pen), Ramos 55', Meyer 86'

Before the game Hertha were third and BVB fourth. The point gap was 2 points, which meant, that Dormtund needed a win to overtake Hertha. On the other hand, a draw was everything the Berliners needed. This was also Ganchev's first game back from his ban. The Westfalenstadion was sold out as almost always. "Die Gelbe Wand" was singing and jumping loudly. And few minutes after the first whistle they got even more reasons to do so. The German star winger Marco Reus played a beautiful over-the-top pass to the Armenian midfielder who took a touch with his chest before putting the ball to the top right corner with a volley. Everything seemed perfect for the home fans who were cheering and shouting even more loudly. Hertha did all they could to equalize but Weidenfeller pulled out a few amazing save and after the first half der BVB were winning. Ten minutes after the start of the second half Hertha's Skjelbred got taken down in the box and the referee pointed at the spot. Pierre-Michel Lasogga put the ball on the spot and fired a powerful shot to the top left corner. Hertha got back in the game and the stadium was silent. Only a couple minutes later Adrian Ramos stole the ball and started the counter attack. He played a beautiful one-two with Max Meyer and Ramos finessed the ball from the left to the right bottom corner. The Colombian man celebrated wildly and Hertha's 7.500 fans jumped and screamed. At that point Ganchev switched to a 5-4-1 and the team defended for their lifes. Five minutes before the end Stocker split the defence with a through ball and the young Maximilian Meyer finished it with a powerful shot. After the final whistle Ganchev was running around the pitch fist pumping and hugging his men.

Bayer Leverkusen 2 - 3 (AET) Hertha, DFB Pokal
                          Kiessling 37', Son Heung-Min 104'
                          Lasogga 19', 96', 117'

We faced Leverkusen again, this time at the BayArena in the cup round of 32. The game was really intense and Lasogga got his hattrick with headers. Alltogether, we saw four headers and one curling shot in the match. The victory was really important for us since the cup is the easiest competition to win for us.

                          Press Conference

Mr Ganchev, you got some mixed results from the last two months. What do you think about them?

In my opinion the results were really good. Yes, we dropped points, but the most important thing is that we're in a Champions League spot. Like I have told you, we will make it to the best club competition. And it is always nice to proceed in the cup after beating a great side. Next up is Kaiserslautern who shouldn't get underestimated. But I'm sure we'll reach the final unless we face Bayern.

What do you think about your punishment and the fine you got?

If I told the truth, I would get fined again. But as I have said, it's disgraful to the beautiful game that the referees can't make good decisions. If it's so hard, why don't we just start using video material to decide like in handegg?

The transfer window opens soon. Who will you be looking to buy?

As I've said, no comment. If you keep asking me that, you can just fu*k off.

Alright, relax. Why did you decide to start playing Ramos on the left and Lasogga in the middle?

Because it works. Ben-Hatira hasn't been on his best and Ramos brings pace and finishing to the game. He doesn't mind playing on the right. And Adrian (Ramos) and Pierre-Michel (Lasogga) are both great strikers. Lasogga is just a bit slower and he's playing as our target man. Ramos, who's the more mobile one is on the flank because of the reasons I already said.

Great job getting to the top of the table! 2 months left and you are in a great position to move up to the Championship. If you get promoted I can't wait to see what moves you make to prepare for the Championship.

Great results so far, you are in a great position as is. Notto mention still within striking distance of Bayern if you have a strong secondhalf. Also like the transfer targets you listed. I like Fabian Johnson(American bias) and Granit Xhaka. In FIFA 13 I ended up managing Switzerlandand Shaqiri and him were my favorite players with that team.<o></o>

I'd go for Yedlin from Seattle Sounders instead (American biased a little as well. 'Murica!) lol
