Should be fun to compare since we're both going to be in League 1, hopefully that makes it more interesting for us both.
Looking forward to this! I feel like it's been way to long since I've seen an Indiblue update!

I feel like it's been forever since I've updated. It's all been press conferences and intros, no gameplay!

I second this. Can't choose between Dagenham and Alcorcon for my favourite, and I'm slightly jealous you have two nice careers when I have barely one!

Alright, I'm going to do Atletico, although, instead of Vladimir Orlov, I have a different idea this time around. So, I will be making my post right after this one, and if anybody is wondering, I'm doing the summer transfers manually although I'm worried more are going to happen while the window is still open, I'm doing it anyways. The beginning coming soon.

All those poor clubs who think they are hiring Brighton legend Indiblue only to get snubbed a few days later!

            February and March

            Scouting Network Set Up
Southend United have set up a scouting network in Scotland to add more youth to the side. Looking forward to May 1st, the day youth coaches review their players and decide if they're ready for the first team, Surajreet9 has opted to get more youngsters into the team and has also made plans for next year, where he will set up scouting in England and Argentina.

            Southend United 2-0 Chesterfield
            Leonard 34', Hanson 53'
After a match filled January, Southend were quite surprised to have only three games in the month of February. Their first match of the month came against third placed Chesterfield, a team that had mounted a title challenge early on in the season but failed to keep it up, allowing Portsmouth to slip into second. Leonard opened the scoring with a classic finish into the bottom right after being set through by Luke James. Portsmouth fought back and hit the bar early on in the second half but James Hanson finished the game with a back post header following a cross from White.

            Fleetwood Town 0-2 Southend United
            Jolley 24' 41'
Southend United defeated Fleetwood Town 2-0 to extend their lead at the top of the table. Fleetwood had no answer to the Southend attack and in the 24th minute, Christian Jolley scored after being set through on goal by Laird. Jolley completed the scoring by scoring off of an Egan header that deflected off the post into his path.

            Southend United 3-1 Burton Albion
            Hanson 30', Gornell 57', Clifford 76'
            McGurk 61'
The scoreline did not reflect the events of the match as Southend ripped Burton Albion to shreds in Roots Hall. Hanson could have had a hat trick in the first 15 minutes while Leonard and James also missed huge opportunities to put Southend forward. Hanson got on the scoresheet after powerfully heading the ball into the net on a corner. Gornell doubled their lead with a mazy run through the defense and slotted the ball into the far post. McGurk offered an unrealistic fight back for Burton Albion and it was finished when Clifford scored a deflected effort from Gornell.

            Starting Eleven
            Bentley 64
            White 63
            Milanov 64
            Prosser 62
            Thompson 62
            Çamdal 61
            Agostinho Cá 61
            Ryan Leonard 66
            Clifford 59
            James 63
            Hanson 65

            Exeter City 1-1 Southend United
            Hanson 43'
            Richards 49'
A very drab match with horrible, rainy conditions. Both teams played keep away and rarely attacked so no players could get injured on the highly slippery surface. Hanson got his goal from a long shot that was deflected into the net by an Exeter player. They were not down for long as Thompson conceded the most ridiculous penalty of all time. Richards had been the one to take Thompson but the penalty fell to the Exeter player, who finished it with no problems. The rest of the match had no further incidents.

            Southend United 1-1 Cheltenham Town
            Gornell 45'
            McGlashan 24'
Terry Gornell met up with his former club as Southend United faced Cheltenham Town in league action. Much was made of the topic of Gornell and his return but McGlashan stole the show. He scored a beautiful looping header to put Cheltenham 1-0 up but Gornell had other ideas, receiving a cross from the right and volleying it straight in to the net. The rest of the match was boring as Cheltenham played for the point while Southend tried to play for all three to no avail. It is the second consecutive draw for Southend.

            AFC Wimbledon 0-4 Southend United
            James 3' 10' 45', Hanson 79'
Much was made of the comment by Surajreet9 that Southend will be able to increase their goal difference against Wimbledon today and he was right, blowing away the Dons in a wonderful display of attacking football. James opened the scoring with a looping header over Worner before a defensive mixup put the ball into the now 19 year old's path and he made no mistake, smashing it into the top corner. Wimbledon had no response and just rolled over under all the attacks, culminating in the goal of the game from James. Hanson lifted the ball over the defense for James and the striker chipped it with one touch over Worner. ChicoBass was seen applauding the striker's goal. Wimbledon threatened a fight back in the second half and hit the post but Hanson wrapped up the game with a simple finish to crush AFC Wimbledon. Surajreet9 commented after the match. "I was surprised that we managed to score four. I was anticipating a much harder game but we usually save these types of games for Wimbledon."

            Southend United 3-1 Plymouth Argyle
            Hanson 21' 78', Clifford 33'
            Alessandra 50'
Surajreet9 was unable to attend the match following a two match ban placed upon him for his comments about AFC Wimbledon. Eastwood was given coaching responsibilities for the game.

            York City 1-0 Southend United
            Hayhurst 18'
Surajreet9 served the second match of his suspension as York City surprisingly beat the league leaders 1-0 to move up to 12th.

            Southend United 1-0 Bristol Rovers
            Clifford 10'
Ryan Leonard described this game as "one of the toughest matches I will ever play." It was truly a difficult match for Southend as Bristol managed to shut almost every attack down and were able to get past the Shrimpers defense with shocking ease. Conor Clifford got the only goal of the match when Hanson lifted the ball over the defense and the midfielder took a touch before smashing it into the far side of the net. The rest of the match had so much tension that all of the personnel on both benches were on their feet, yelling at their respective sides. It was a titanic clash at Roots Hall as Southend edged Bristol to wrap off a wonderful month.

            Thoughts
The team is performing together very well. James, Leonard and Hanson were the best players this month and hopefully, they can help wrap the title up quickly. I don't know about Hanson though. He doesn't feel like the powerhouse I had in Futács and seems to be more of a creator for James than a strong dominating forward. I hope that changes. Anyways, I'm happy with the team and the next update will probably be the last of the season because I play only one match in May. I actually wrote this update very late and I fell asleep lol so that's why I'm submitting it now. Hope you liked it!

              Atletico Madrid hire Jose Torres

              REVIVE TORRES

Atletico Madrid have officially announced Jose Torres, Fernando Torres' father, is their new manager. Jose has no past experience of managing, but here he is to start. He is expected to sign Fernando Torres to pair along side Mario Mandzukic. How will he be able to run Atletico Madrid? We'll have to see. But if he does sign Fernando, it'll be interesting to see if he pushes him too hard, doesn't push him enough, or if he can find the right balance. Stay tuned for more.

Oh no. I do play other games. I'm quite hooked on the Arkham series and I would like to do another playthrough of Asylum. I am about half way through and I need to finish it. I also have all the Assassin's Creed and am playing AC2 as it is the only one I missed out. I'm doing a 100% run through of Rayman Legends. My favourite game by far is the Last of Us. Can't wait till I get a PS4 to play it remastered. I worded it incorrectly. I meant other games exclusively. The Uncharted series are also some of my favourite games and I have played through each multiple times on the hardest difficulty.

                  ROAD TO RECOVERY
                  SEASON 2

I'm going to give it another chance!

                  Recap

As manager of Coventry, I guided them to promotion from League 1 in second place behind Wolves. I then stopped midway through the second season because of a distinct lack of money.

                  Match 17

                  Coventry 1-1 Hull
                  Jelavic 22
                  Chamberlain 67

Jelavic headed in the opener but young winger Chamberlain saved a draw when he smashed in off the post from 20 yards to end Hull's winning streak.

                  Match 18

                  Ipswich 1-0 Coventry
                  Williams 31
Williams got the only goal of the game, slotting into the corner. We came close to an equaliser when Seaborne's header smashed off the bar.

                  Match 19

                  Coventry 2-4 Watford
                  Deeney 15
                  Razak 29
                  Faraoni 45
                  Battochio 68
                  Forestieri 75
                  Delfouneso 90

Deeney headed in the opener before Razak smashed in an equaliser. Faraoni regained Watford's lead, stroking in after cutting inside. Battochio made it 3 on the rebound after McCarthy had done amazingly to deny the goal originally. Forestieri settled it, knocking in from 6 yards. Delfounso slotted in a consolation in stoppage time.

                  Match 20

                  Reading 0-0 Coventry
Despite our clear dominance throughout the match, we just couldn't beat the outstanding Adam Federici.

                  League Table

                  1. Hull City 53
                  2. Watford 41
                  3. Stoke 40
                  4. Bolton 40
                  5. Reading 38
                  6. Fulham 37
                  -----
                  16. Coventry 21
                  -----
                  22. Sheffield Wed. 14
                  23. Leyton Orient 9
                  24. Barnsley 8

                  Thoughts

A relatively disappointing month, not picking up a win. The board gifted me money when I requested funds so I am OK to carry on.

Formation and current squad as of 31.01.2014:

And current league table with 5 games to go...

Must say, will be tight end to the season. Those 5 games I have to play are:

                    -Maritimo
                    -Gil Vicente
                    -Belenenses
                    -Vitoria Guimaraes
                    -Braga

Actually, can say, that if Benfica doesn't drop points they will win the title and it would be well deserved. Beat me 2 times this season (first game in league 3-1 and in Taca de Portugal again 3-1).

Can't wait to play last games... And see whether to stay with Sporting or move on. However, must say it would be sad to leave this team now. After all, next season, we will be in Champions League!

Wolverhampton (Home) D 2-2 (Madine, Berrett)

Overall a fantastic start to the season with Gary Madine scoring whenever he wants to. A deadline day transfer of Conor Hourihane strengthens the midfield. With Tyler Harvey and Matt Lecointe also coming over from Plymouth as ones for the future. Daniel Bentley is also a great goalie with high potential. Looking to qualify for the playoffs and perhaps be promoted.

End of the first month, and I have made the team as I want it. Here are the transfers.
                        IN:
                        Fernando Torres [5 + Mandzukic]

                        Karim Benzema [22.5 + Turan]
                        Oliver Torres [2 + Gabi]
                        William Carvalho [18.5]

                        OUT:
                        Diego Godin [14.5]
                        Raul Garcia [11.5]
                        -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's the end of the first month, there weren't any games. The board wants me to qualify for Champions League and reach the Round of 16 in the cup. I think we can succeed. Next update I'll have a press conference, just not this month.

                          ROAD TO RECOVERY
                          SEASON 2

                          Match 21

                          Coventry 2-0 Wolves
                          Maddison 53
                          Eccleston 87

We took the lead when Eccleston's volley was parried and Maddison dove in to head home. Eccleston settled the win, slotting in after beating the defence.

                          Match 22

                          Brighton 2-1 Coventry
                          Buckley 45 (PEN)
                          Dagnall 51
                          Ulloa 68

A completely undeserved win for Brighton. Buckley converted a penalty that shouldn't have been and Ulloa scored despite the ball not crossing the line. I looked at the replay multiple times and none of the times was the ball even close to crossing it. Dagnall smashed in and we deserved a point.

                          Match 23

                          Coventry 2-0 Doncaster
                          Razak 39
                          Eccleston 56

                          Simmed.

                          Match 24

                          Stoke 1-1 Coventry
                          Jerome 26
                          Chamberlain 74

Jerome opened the scoring, curling into the bottom corner. When Chamberlain was bought down in the box, Dagnall stepped up to take the penalty but it was saved by Begovic. We equalised when a cross by Thomas was headed in by Chamberlain.

                          Match 25

                          Coventry 3-0 Sheffield Wednesday
                          Delfouneso 15
                          Seaborne 55
                          Daniels 85

Delfouneso ran clear to smash in and open the scoring. Seaborne headed in from a corner. Daniels smashed in to make it 3 late on from the edge of the box.

Nice results for the month, but unlucky against Brighton. If you can carry over that form until the end of the season you could make the promotion playoff.

To be quite honest I don't really want to get promoted this season. The amount of money I have and will get is simply not enough to stay in the Premier League. If I do get promoted it will be so hard to stay up.
