Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

So, end of the month. I'll do results as well as PC, no table because I'm not sitting in front of the game right now, so.. yeah. Some really weird results this month [2 of them] All in all, a good month.

    Torquay United 5 - 0 Bury
    Coulthirst 14'
    James 45'
    O'Connor RED CARD 68'
    Cruise 72'
    James 75'
    Cameron 77'

    Burton Albion 3 - 1 Torquay United
    Symes 36'
    Symes 45'
    James 53'
    Weir 70'

    Torquay United 2 - 0 Plymouth Argyle
    James 8'
    James 10'

    Fleetwood Town 0 - 5 Torquay United
    Pearce 15'
    James 29'
    Coulthirst 33'
    James 35'
    Harding 83'

Those are the results, obviously the weird ones being the 5-0's. Luke James has played exceptionally. Very glad I signed him. I plan to sign a second ST in January, even though Coulthirst is good, I'm looking for a bigger striker in Ollie Palmer who has some decent pace as well. Maybe look into Gornell, but when I enquired they said 1 mill... soo.. yeah. Into the PC which wont be too much in depth because I'm in a hurry, dinner soon as well as have some errands to do.

Q: How did the team do?

A: Well, I actually watched 2 games this month. The two 5-0 victories were good, I guess we won one of the others and lost another. Just the fact that we lose in this league shows how poor we are.

Q: Do you plan to change the quality of the team?

A: Are you questioning my ability? Fear for your job. Changing quality doesn't happen in a season, and if the board fires me, it'll be the biggest mistake they've ever made, and ever will make because we are currently top 4, and they're expecting me to finish around 16th. Please.

Q: So how long will repairing the team take?

A: Ask the board. How generous they are with money will determine that.

Q: So do you think you are the worst team in the league?

A: No, if you want to watch the worst go over to Tex Bumosix's squad in Morecambe as they have 2 points after 9 matches. I pity the fool. []

Q: Is there anything you would do differently then Mr. Bumosix?

A: Quite frankly, I think his signings are ok. [I mean, you signed an Arsenal player, what am I gonna say...] However, his sellings have been questionable. How could you sell Andrew Fleming for that little? Although I would sell a player so poor like Itandje for 300k any day, but, me being me I could have gotten double that. [Let the hate on Orlov begin ]

Q: Where could you have Morecambe in the league?

A: On the opposite side of what they are. #1. I'm getting there with Torquay, I could be there with Morecambe. That'll be all.

Alright, so I realize the whole bottom of the league isn't based on your performance, but how they are performing in my CM, I just thought it'd sound better for Orlov to do it that way. Anyways, that'll be all. Hope you enjoyed. By the way, the policy of the last post applies to this one, the comments are for storyline and spice on the forums, how Orlov speaks is not how I think. Thank you.

Portsmouth are currently sitting in 3rd place with 7 games remaining and it is extremely close up top. Because they have been progressing so far in the cup games we are also 3 games behind league leaders Plymouth who are only 4 points in front of us. It may look like it should be easy to gain top spot but Portsmouth have been in troubling form in the league and have been dropping points in places they shouldn't.

Congrats man! Sucks my boys finish dead last though but whatever. Really good season for you and I think you'll continue that in League One.

Honestly, I'll take pride if my team finishes last. Think of it this way: The worse they're doing = The better you're doing.

                  In Pompey we Trust
Objectives: Gain automatic promotion, Reach the round of 32
                  Budget: £450,000 Transfer £3,000 Wages

With such an amazing first season there is nothing but hope going forward into league 1. The first stages of bringing Pompey back to the big leagues and repairing the damage that it had been caused has been completed. This is due to the Leadership of Mr Fish and the great teamwork of the entire Portsmouth team being pushed along by the fans who would not let their team dissolve into nothing.

Oh how I really didn't want to sell Taylor, but the man wanted more money. The kind of money he wanted was way to much for Portsmouth. As sad as I am to see him go his wages and cost will help to improving the contracts of some other players that want upgrades and the rest will be saved for January.

You can turn it down. Just go to office and game settings or before the match go to game settings

Season 2, Episode 3: Transfer deadline day.

In this episode I did play vs Olhanense and Vitoria Guimaraes, but it's not what matters most! It's the transfer deadline day and the signing Sporting CP made in the closing hours of it!

Enjoy! Plus if you have tips on what to improve, I will take all into account! (please be aware I am from Poland and English is not my main language ).

Hey guys, I just gave up on yet another save. That's Bristol City's hopes and dreams down the drain!

I think playing to update, rather than updating after playing, has killed the experience for me. So until FIFA 15 comes out, I'm just going to enjoy myself on the game and keep you all posted as to what happens. No more storylines, no more press conferences, no more creative writing. Just transfers, results and stats. Kinda like how Moose goes about his West Ham career.

I know you'll all be a bit upset, but I'd rather not ruin FIFA for myself altogether.

Gaspar, who arrived in the UK at the age of 17 has been in the coaching systems of many London based teams that include Brentford, Millwall and Chelsea where he won the youth FA Cup, alerting many clubs around the world. We here their will be a press conference later today at Molineux Stadium.

                              Press Conference

Steve Morgan (Owner of Wolves): Thankyou all for coming. Today I am proud to announce our new manager. Jake Gaspar

Me: Thanks Steve and thanks for coming down

Sky: Congratulations on the job. How do you feel?

Me: Thankyou. I feel great. it has been a dream of mine to manage a European club and I'm grateful it has been fulfilled.

BBC: What are your goals at the club?

Me: My goal is to get this team back where they belong. The Premier League. Wolverhampton are the 13th most successful club in England and do not belong in League One.

                              BBC: Personal goals?

Me: Personal managerial goals I haven't thought about. My focus is on this club and what lies ahead.

Express and Star: West Midlands is a very successful footballing region. do you feel any pressure trying to compete with teams like Aston Villa, Birmingham, West Brom and Stoke?

Me: Not at all. I am aware that this region loves its football. But like I said, all I'm focusing on is the job ahead with the Wolves.

Daily Mirror: Many of your stars are on Championship or even Premier League wages. With the team in League one will financial problems effect your plans?

Me: Football today is mostly about money and I'm aware of it. We have had to cope with the financial restrictions. However, I am hopeful the board can fund the team enough so we can keep our players and buy a few more.

Daily Mirror: Do you agree with Jake, Steve?

Steve Morgan: The club are fully behind Jake in whatever aspect. We too want to keep our stars at the club.

Daily Star: Then can you explain the transfers the club and yourself have done so far and this early into the window Jake.

Me: We have signed some solid players who have had experience in the Championship and League 1. Sam Ricketts is a natural leader which he showed when he was at Bolton and is in our leadership group. for Scott Golbourne and Kevin McDonald. They had alot of experience in these leagues and I hope they help us push for promotion. I still feel we need a few more signings to complete the team.

Daily Mirrow: What about the players who have left or are away on loan?

Me: Due to the our relegation and financial problems players have left the club. And thats football, we fully understand and no hard feelings for them leaving.

Sky Sports: What about the players like Stephen Ward, Tongo Doumbia, Razak Boukari and Wayne Hennessey who have been sent away on loan.

Me: These players are still in my plans. Due to our financial state we had to loan them out. However, the players understand and are happy to do this for the club. I hope them for the best this season and hope for them to comeback better than ever.

BBC: Finally, you mention a leadership group. who is in it?

Me: Karl Henry will be our Club captain. he has played 250 games for the club and I'll love him to retire here. He will be helped by experienced campaigners like Roger Johnson, David Edwards, Sam Ricketts and Kevin Doyle.

                              Me Thankyou for coming down.

Yep, Guardado is a Spanish CDM I picked up through the academy, has potential in the 87-93 range if I remember correctly when I signed him and he is already 68 overall at just 17.

Same with Maresca who has gotten a lot of game time lately in cups and such, he's a RW from the academy with 87-93 potential and already 70 OVR at 17 years of age, he's already impressed me and gets in all the cup games and has even been in the BPL once or twice when fitness issues plague the squad.

I love getting academy recruits into the team, it really makes it feel personal!
