Jamiec47 expected to be announced as Liverpool FC manager

After the sudden and surprising departure of Brendan Rodgers, unknown manager Jamiec47 appears to be the lead candidate for the job. It appears to be a wild move, his only previous managerial experience as manager of Coventry Sphinx in the Midland Football League Premier Division, the 9th level of the English football league system. He is thought to be friends with the owner, John W. Henry. Many fans are dismayed by the possibility, one fan from Liverpool voicing his opinions in an interview with us. "The bloody tosser better not be manager. He don't have no experience and we're a club going for the title and are competing in Europe. This is like that bloody Dave Hockaday guy at Leeds, but on a bigger scale."

Well that fan may be consoled in the fact that Dave was sacked after just 70 days, so if it goes anything like that, the pain won't last too long.

            FIFA 15 CAREER MODE

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR APPOINT JOSH WETSON AS THEIR NEW MANAGER

            AUGUST

            BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE

            WEST HAM 2–1 TOTTENHAM
Enner Valencia scored on his debut to give the Hammers the lead, before a penalty decision by Anthony Taylor which seemed to be outside the area gifted Adebayor the chance to equalise before half time which he duly converted. But just passed the hour mark, Andy Carroll capitalised on a defensive error to regain the lead, and despite a strong end to the game, Spurs slumped to an opening day defeat at the Boleyn Ground, made even worse to an injury to star man Christian Eriksen.

            TOTTENHAM 2–0 LIVERPOOL
When Martin Skrtel brought down Adebayor in the box inside the first 10 minutes, the Togon international had the chance to score his 2nd penalty in as many games and he showed no frailty, powering the ball past Mignolet. Liverpool created enough chances to warrant something from the game but Gerrard’s effort off the post was the closest they came. Instead Adebayor scored again after some neat play from Townsend to give us a big win over our rivals for Champions League, and Wetson his first win as Tottenham manager.

            TOTTENHAM 3–0 QUEENS PARK RANGERS
Emmanuel Adebayor continued his terrific form at the start of the season with his 4th goal in 3 games following a great ball from Chadli. It remained 1-0 until the 62nd when a woeful error from Rob Green allowed Chadli to turn from provider to scorer, notching his 1st of the campaign. A second consecutive home win and clean sheet was brilliantly rounded off by a thunder strike from Paulinho 3 minutes from time to leave Wetson a very happy man.

Standings at the end of August
            1) Chelsea 12 points from 4 games
            2) Arsenal 7 points from 3 games
            3) Manchester City 7 points from 3 games
            4) West Ham 7 points from 3 games
            5) Tottenham 6 points from 3 games

            Monthly review:

Overall a pretty pleasing month, despite the opening day defeat at West Ham. I felt we played reasonably well, certainly well enough to get at least a point. But we backed up the disappointment with a fantastic win over Liverpool. We outplayed them in every department and thoroughly deserved the win. The final game of the month was equally as pleasing, and it has certainly given us a lot of confidence going into the season ahead knowing that the squad we have is capable of performing. Adebayor has been on fire at the start of the season, as was narrowly beaten to the player of the month award by Diego Costa who emulated Adebayor’s 4 goals. Fortunately we have been boosted by the return of Eriksen, and we hope that he will be fit in time for our trip to the Stadium of Light in early September.

              Jamiec47 Announced as Manager

Jamie, how do you feel to take charge of this club?

I am honoured, the club has such a rich and prosperous history. I have been a supporter since I was 5 years old and I am humbled by the faith put into me by the owners.

What are you going to do for this club. How will the coaching staff fare?

I will keep the majority of the coaching staff on. Both Colin Pascoe and Glenn Driscoll, the assistant manager and the performance analyst, have moved on with Brendan. However my first team coach Mike Marsh will remain, as will most of the staff. I have however, made an appointment that will dismay many people, Rene Meulensteen will be my assistant coach. I have also brought back sports psychologist Dr. Steve Peters to work closely with the side. I have also convinced Alan Hansen to work as a defensive coach, as well as Milan legend Mauro Tassotti. I also managed to do some of the most unthinkable signings for my coaching staff. I pulled Zinedine Zidane here to take charge of our youth side alongside Michael Beale, Beale knowing the lads and Zidane helping to apply the attacking flair philosophy. Bernhard Peters has joined from Hoffenheim to work in the world renowned Liverpool Academy, working closely with the U-18's but also taking charge of our reserve side. The man is known for being a revolutionary youth coach and assistant manager.

That really is some brilliant back room work, but what will you change on the field?

I will have a similar passing, attacking philosophy, but with flair. We will not just win, but win in style. There will be more emphasis on the defensive side to prevent the amount of goals conceded as last season. It was quite obviously a weak point but I think Dejan will add some stability.

Talking about the defence, Brendan has already brought in some players at the back, but is there anyone else you want?

Well, I do have my targets, but however the defence is stronger. As I said, Dejan has added stability and is a natural leader, Alberto is tenacious and I love his style. Manquillo is young an looking good as well. Obviously it is a huge blow to lose Daniel (Agger) but I'm sure we will cope. I don't know what went on before I was here between him and the manager, but I'm not ruling out the possibility of trying to bring him back.

What about the attack. A large concern for fans and pundits alike are that there is no true replacement for Suarez.

Well, that's because there in no replacement. He is a top 7 player in the world, but with the attacking coaches I have brought in, I am sure we can get the best out of Daniel (Sturridge) and Mario (Balotelli).

Do you have a certain formation in mind for your side?

              Yes I do.

              Will you reveal it?

Well that would be stupid and reckless wouldn't it. Fortunately for you I'm a stupid and reckless man. I plan on using a narrow diamond, with Daniel and Mario up front. Raheem will sit behind them with a free role on the tip of the diamond. Jordan (Henderson) and Phillipe (Coutinho) will be on the sides of the diamond, remember a narrow diamond. Steven will sit in front of the defence of Alberto Moreno, Dejan, Sakho and Manquillo. However Glen will have his chance and Simon will be in goal.

But how will this accommodate Lazar Markovic?

It won't. He will be played but he is not in my first team. Nor is Adam, nor Rickie, however they will all get sufficient game time.

If you are so reckless, will you reveal your targets?

I'll think about it. OK I thought about it. I have been looking closely at Luka Modric, defenders Aymeric Laporte and Mateo Musacchio. I have also looked at some youth, including Youri Tielemans. I will also be looking at goalkeepers such as Joe Hart so Simon, step up your game.

              Thanks for your time.

              You're very welcome. It's been a pleasure.

So the fun thing is, I had ordered my ps4 and my Fifa 15 at the same day, fun thing that happened, Ps4 got crushed between packages on the way to the postoffice so they have to send a new one, Coming in in 3-7 days. I swear, The freaking Fifa 15 Disc is just mocking me.

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

                  AFC Wimbledon 2017/2018 Squad Report

Another season has come to an end so here is my squad report for this, my most successful season by far. Any feedback/suggestions for future squad reports appreciated!

                  Starting Eleven (3-5-2)
                  *=Youth Academy Graduate
                  **=Player Growth Status

                  *GK - Christophe Brown (18yrs 68 OVR): 9/10
                  47 Appearances - 17 Clean Sheets
                  **Has Potential To Be Special
He was promoted in May of last season to be back up for Ross Worner, but he excelled in the preseason and took Worner's starting spot for the first game of the season. His form carried over to the league and he never let go of his starting spot. Worner was eventually sold due to poor form and this kid handled the pressure perfectly. Definitely a player for the future, irreplaceable.

                  RCB - Tom Lees (27 yrs 72 OVR): 7/10
                  45 Appearances - 2 Goals
Joined the team in the summer to solidify the defense and he definitely fulfilled his role. He's had his bad matches like everyone else, but overall he did well. Despite playing well he hasn't seen much growth, and there's a few players in the B team that aspire to make it to the first team. Lees' spot is the most at risk in the back 3.

                  CB - Ryan Tafazolli (26 yrs 75 OVR): 8/10
                  45 Appearances
This player has been with the club since League 2 and has always been a solid for us in defense. His potential is 67, so the fact that he's grown to 75 shows how well he's been playing for us.

                  LCB - Jack Baldwin (24 yrs 74 OVR): 7/10
                  45 Appearances - 1 Goal & 1 Assist
He's been one of our best signings but I must say he played better last season when he was at RCB. This season on the left he's had more than a few bad matches, but we know he can do better. When he's having a good day he's almost impossible to get through though.

                  CDM - Harry Pell (26 yrs 69 OVR): 9/10
                  45 Appearances - 2 Goals & 7 Assists
At 6'4", Engine and Strength trait, he's vital in holding the midfield. He's only at 69, but he's held his own many times against "superior" players like Juan Mata and Thorgan Hazard.

                  RM - Elliott Hewitt (24 yrs 74 OVR): 10/10
                  45 Appearances - 2 Goals & 23 Assists
He's naturally a RB but he's my most dangerous man on the wings. He reached the Speedster trait, making it easy for him to drop back and help Lees in defense. He's leading the league in assists for the second time in a row. I don't understand why he hasn't been called up to Wales more consistently.

                  *RCM - Mario Ruiz (18 yrs 72 OVR): 8/10
                  45 Appearances - 5 Goals & 2 Assists
                  **An Exciting Prospect
Our offensive touch in midfield. He's been growing into an incredible player with all of his stats growing really well. His physical stats are the only ones that haven't changed but I'm expecting that to change once he turns 19. Due to his low defensive work rate he tends to stay up like a CF between the two strikers when we're on top of the opponent. He still has enough defensive sacrifice to help out when it's the other way around though so his low defensive work rate is not a problem.

                  *LCM - Shaun Vincent (18 yrs 73 OVR): 7/10
                  44 Appearances - 5 Goals & 2 Assists
                  **Showing Great Potential
He has a great understanding with Ruiz in midfield and like Ruiz his physical stats haven't grown. He had lost his starting spot to Odhlambo in the middle of the season, but the team was less offensive without him on the field even though he hardly stands out on the field.

                  LM - Jacob Murphy (23 yrs 77 OVR): 7/10
                  44 Appearances - 4 Goals & 9 Assists
He has great defensive sacrifice, but I wish he was a little more risky when we're attacking. He hardly makes runs into space and instead stays in midfield, ready to drop back. When he does make runs, he's great at crossing the ball or taking the shot.

                  RS - Luke James (23 yrs 75 OVR): 7/10
                  33 Appearances - 11 Goals & 9 Assists
He had been struggling to adapt to our football since joining from Hartlepool, but once he began playing with the B team we found that he's best as a creative striker. He adds speed to our attack with the ability to get aerial shots as well, but he's not too good at shielding the ball due to his low strength.

                  LS - Terry Gornell (c) (28 yrs 73 OVR): 10/10
                  45 Appearances - 33 Goals & 5 Assists
Since joining from Cheltenham Town my 2nd season he has become a strong leader and a predator on the field. He wasn't able to break his 37 goal record from my 3rd season, but being the top scorer in the Premier League is a huge accomplishment for any striker.

                  Wimbledon B Team (3-5-2)

                  *GK - Adam Cowie (19 yrs 69 OVR): 7/10
                  10 Appearances - 3 Clean Sheets
                  **Has Potential To Be Special
He's a good goalkeeper but gives away too many goals from rebounds. He'll play the same role with the B team next season. The only reason he's rated higher than Brown is because when I recalled him from loan following Worner's sale his growth reset. He had grown from 62 to 66 while on loan and then grew from 66 to 69 after January.

                  *RCB - Craig May (18 yrs 68 OVR): 8/10
                  19 Appearances - 2 Goals
                  **Has Potential To Be Special
He struggled while adapting to football at the senior level when I first promoted him, but as the season progressed he had good stat growth and eventually became my most solid defender with the B team. He's still slow, but he has great tackling stats and stands at 6'5" making him very difficult to get through.

                  CB - Danny Wilson (26 yrs 70 OVR): 8/10
                  17 Appearances
A great addition to the B team, he definitely helped solidify our back line and his performances earned him a ticket to the World Cup, something he only dreamed about when he was at Hearts. Definitely a player to keep but I don't see him playing with the first team unless it's to cover an injury. (Knock on wood!)

                  LCB - Jack Stephens (24 yrs 67 OVR): 6/10
                  15 Appearances - 1 Goal
He was definitely an improvement in our back line but his performances weren't the best. Looking back I should have brought him in on loan instead of permanent transfer.

                  *CDM - Scott Moore (17 yrs 65 OVR): 7/10
                  22 Appearances - 1 Goal
                  **Showing Great Potential
Only 65 OVR but many times he made me consider starting him ahead of Pell. He has great tackling and good height for a CDM 6'2". I just wish his growth would speed up a bit.

                  *RM - Diego Ortiz (19 yrs 73 OVR): 8/10
                  24 Appearances - 1 Goal & 6 Assists
                  **Has Potential To Be Special
As soon as his physical stats begin growing this kid is going to be a beast. He has great ball control and passing, but his stamina and pace is terrible. He's listed as a LW but he did a great job dropped back to help out in defense. Since promoting him I've gotten offers from Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund for him. I've denied both, but if this season I get another offer for him I'm going to have to accept. Can't hold him back anymore and as I said his pace and stamina are the only things keeping him with the B team and not the starting eleven.

                  *RCM - Richard Odhlambo (18 yrs 73 OVR): 7/10
                  39 Appearances - 3 Assists
                  **Has Potential To Be Special
His passing and ball control are exceptional, but the times I played him ahead of Vincent the team couldn't get anything better than a draw. He's been growing really fast too, so next season could be his break through.

                  LCM - Luke Moore (c) (30 yrs 65 OVR): 6/10
                  41 Appearances - 3 Goals & 1 Assist
I would hate letting this player go but at 30 years old his time is coming to an end. He started this season on fire, playing great with the B team and was a great substitute when the first team was behind, but as we neared the end of the season his confidence went down and sometimes he wouldn't even get a touch on the ball when he was subbed in. He's been loyal to the club since 2009, never gave me any problems, so I may let him retire with us if he so desires to.

                  LM - Luke Freeman (26 yrs 72 OVR): 7/10
                  28 Appearances - 2 Goals & 8 Assists
Brought in on a free transfer a couple seasons ago, he's a good squad player to have but he wants more than that. The whole season he's been between "content" and "unhappy" but there's no way I could start him ahead of Murphy or Hewitt. I'll have to review my options with him.

                  RS - Sam Vokes (28 yrs 71 OVR): 7/10
                  31 Appearances - 13 Goals & 13 Assists
Brought in to be my first choice left striker, and he did terrible there. Left striker is my target man, and he was hardly ever able to get to a header and when he did it was off target most of the time. I was patient with him for a long time until taking him down to the B team where he continued to struggled. Eventually I played him as right striker and that's where his form went up. He's my biggest earner at the club with a $25,000 wage so if he's gonna have that kind of wage I expect him to be with my first team, not the B team.

                  LS - Tyler Harvey (22 yrs 73 OVR): 8/10
                  36 Appearances - 14 Goals & 4 Assists
I was really surprised with this guy. All his time in midfield helped him develop his footwork which in turn contributed to him being a dangerous striker. He was named the best player in the FA Cup, and made many appearances as a substitute with the first team in midfield. It's great to have a versatile player like him in the squad.

                  Reserves

                  CB - Aaron Morris (28 yrs 67 OVR): 6/10
                  23 Appearances - 2 Assists
I usually brought him on when the team was ahead and we needed to defend that lead, but I think his time with the club has come to an end with the youth players that are climbing the ranks. His stats have been decreasing since last season, most likely because he outgrew his potential.

                  RB - Barry Fuller (33 yrs 62 OVR): 5/10
                  14 Appearances
I was expecting him to retire this season but he surprised me with wanting to keep playing. He's been an extremely important player for us since I first joined Wimbledon and that's why I kept trying to extend his contract for another year but his agent got in the way and refused any offer I sent him. Unfortunately he has left the club on contract expiry. He will definitely be missed, a historical AFC Wimbledon player.

                  LB - Tom Richards (23 yrs 68 OVR): 7/10
                  [I]19 Appearances - 2 Assists[/B]
Humbled by his season away from the club on loan this kid gave me no problems this season and was a good second half sub at LM. He's fast, he can cross, and he helps out in defense. Replaceable but I think I'll keep him for the same role next season.

                  *CM - Matthew Saah (18 yrs 65 OVR): 6/10
                  12 Appearances
Unfortunately with the promotion of Scott Moore his playing time took a huge fall. I'll try to send him out on loan this season.

                  ST - Max Clayton (23 yrs 74 OVR): 9/10
                  49 Appearances - 22 Goals & 5 Assists
An outstanding second half sub; a super sub. He has crazy speed which made him even more dangerous in front of a tired defense. I find his game to be limited though, he's extremely fast but lacks strength and height. His playing style does not match mine, except when we are behind and I need to play fast, that's when our styles coincide. He was never too happy with his playing time but subbing him in almost every match kept him content. If I get an offer for him, I'll have to let him go. I don't want to do what Manchester United did to Chicharito. If not, he'll keep playing the same role with us.

                  Out On Loan

                  *LM - Kyle Shelvey (20 yrs 66 OVR): N/A
A very unproductive loan spell where he did not grow a single stat. He's a first generation youth along with Mario Ruiz and Diego Ortiz, but I may transfer list him next season or give him another loan chance.

                  *ST - Scott Wilson (17 yrs 64 OVR): N/A
Another unproductive loan spell. I was expecting to see growth with him but his only growth were from when he was with the us. On loan he didn't grow a single stat. As soon as he came back he grew to 64. I'll be looking to loan him out again.

                  Recently Promoted

                  *GK - Mark Watt (17 yrs 58 OVR): N/A
                  Will be loan listed.

                  *LB - Scott Stewart (16 yrs 67 OVR): N/A
Still unsure whether I'll keep him or send him on loan.

                  *LB - Dean Rhodes (16 yrs 70 OVR): N/A
                  **Has Potential To Be Special
He made his debut against Southampton at CB and finished the match with an 8.0 match rating. All of his tackles were spot on and at 6'6" nothing went over him. He'll play with the B team and careful, he might even be called up to Scotland this season depending on how much he grows. He first needs to get at least 72 OVR which is my back up CB's overall in the national team.

                  *ST - Conor Marsden (17 yrs 55 OVR): N/A
Will be loan listed. Looking forward to seeing him grow.

                  *CF - Michael Thompson (17 yrs 66 OVR): N/A
                  **Has Potential To Be Special
I was planning on keeping him, but I think the best choice will be to loan him. No way he'll get decent minutes with Max Clayton getting subbed in most matches. Another player I'm really looking forward to seeing grow!

First update of the new season should be posted later today depending on how work goes! 😁
                  Thanks for Reading!

                            Press Conference

Q: You have officially been knocked out of the F.A. Cup in what was a rematch of last years final. Liverpool proved to be too much this time and your attempt to defend the trophy has ended in the quarter finals. What led to the loss this year?

A: We were forced to play a lot of our reserve players for this game coming off of 2 days of rest from our Europa League win over Club Brugge. Unfortunately we weren't able to commit enough of our resources into our lineup to secure a win. It would have been great to win it again, but our chance to move further in the Europa League was considered a higher priority.

Q: Speaking of the Europa League, you have advanced into the quarter finals, and won your first leg against Lazio convincingly. What do you feel your chances are in this competition?

A: I am very proud of the performances the players have been putting in against European competition. This was our chance to spread Morecambe's brand, and to prove the quality of our club. I think we have done just that. I think we have what it takes to make it to the finals, but that all depends on who we draw, and how we play on match day.

Q: You are sitting 6th, tied on points with Manchester City for 5th in the Premier League. You had been in 3rd for some time but you fell to both Arsenal and Chelsea this month causing the drop. You still have a game in hand, but so does City. Where do you realistically see your club finishing in the table?

A: After the success we have put together over the past few months, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to set our eyes on a Champions League spot. I think that we are ready for the competition, although it won't be easy. We will need to keep our focus sharp and finish the season strong because in this league you can't count on other clubs to start dropping points ahead of you.

                                Press Conference before Arsenal Match

How do you feel going into your first London derby in charge of Chelsea

Hard to say but were 5 points clear and haven’t kept a clean sheet, meanwhile they (Arsenal) are not so strong in attack but have a rock solid back 4 and some unlucky decisions from refs. So I’d say it’s a bit unfair to compare Arsene’s team with mine and decide that were the favourites

Who do you think will win and if so what is your predicted score

I don’t like to judge and compare teams after 6 matches but if I had to I think it would be a 2 all draw

Are you expecting any standout players?

As I said earlier 6 matches is far to short of time to compare players but Mario (Gomez) will be a tough challenge to stop

You’ve acted very ill confidant so far, so do you think you can win?

Yes I believe we can beat them (Arsenal) but I don’t like to act cocky and have haters knocking on my front door, but I have the team to beat this season and my players know that this an important match in our season

What about Cesc (Fabregas), How do you think he will cope facing his old teammates?

Players come to a team while others go, this Arsenal team is very different to the one a couple of years ago, for example he (Fabregas) never played with Szczesny or Ozil, Instead he played with Almunia and Robin Van Persie. Arsenal fans don’t get this but Cesc is a tough lad and won’t let a couple of boos down his spirit

                                Chelsea 1-0 Arsenal

                                Costa 45’

Good win, great defence but a win in the London Derby is very Important for the season

                                Chelsea Manager Outraged
Chelsea Manager Jayden Aitken Outraged at the referee and voiced his concerns at a recent press conference about the fact Laporte should not have been red carded, he said “Laporte made a legitimate tackle and if I was ref wouldn’t even call it a foul”. He went on to say that the linesman called unfair offside decisions and even said Casemiro shoudn’t of been punished for his tackle on Diego Costa. Jayden was fined £5,000
