Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Hey guys just to let you know that I'm working a lot for the next week so won't be able to postmmuch on my Stoke City career. I will probably be able to get October done as I only have 2 games left. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem in their second season but I am really really struggling to score even though I have a striker with 86 finishing and creating numerous chances. Last season was the opposite I could score for fun but leaked like a sieve. This year I'm not conceding many but really struggling to get the ball in the net.Comment

October 2014
Hertha BSC 0 - 1 VfL Stuttgart
Leitner 61'
FC Schalke 04 0 - 2 Hertha BSC
Schieber 57', Ronny 80' pen
Hertha BSC took a surprising victory against Schalke who didn't play well. The Berliners were missing Salomon Kalou who got suspended in the last game but Julian Schieber took his chance and decided the game. The ex-Dortmund striker scored the first goal of the game in the 57th minute when he received the ball on the edge of the box. The attacker turned around Felipe Santana and shot the ball with his left foot to the near post. Hertha continued playing well and in the 79th minute Valentin Stocker cut in from the right. The Swiss winger passed the ball away a second before Marco Höger slid in which lead to a penalty. Ronny took the penalty and he scored even though the keeper dived the right way.
Hertha BSC 3 - 0 Hamburger SV
Schieber 10', Ronny 45', 51'
DFB Pokal Round of 32
Hertha BSC 2 - 0 Fortuna Düsseldorf
Schieber 1', Bittencourt 47'
Player of the Month
Ronny
Hertha BSC's player of October is Ronny Heberson Furtado de Araujo, familiarly Ronny. The attacking midfielder had an excellent month in which the Brazilian netted three goals and assisted two more. The cherry of the cake was his second goal against Hamburger SV. The Brazilian, who is known for his amazing free kicks, took a shot from about 20 yards out and the ball flew over Rene Adler to the top of the goal.
League Table

November 2014
SC Paderborn 0 - 1 Hertha BSC
Bittencourt 60'
Hertha BSC 0 - 1 Hannover 96
Briand 70'
A terrible game for the home side in which they couldn't break down Hannover's defence. At the end the side which took their chances won with a curling shot by Briand from outside the box which hit the post. Luckily for the Berliners the loss wasn't crucial and they are still second.
FC Köln 1 - 3 Hertha BSC
Gerhardt 67'
Ronny 28', Kalou 41', Stocker 80'
Hertha BSC 0 - 1 Bayern München
Müller 35'
This game didn't go as expected but the favourites were still able to win it. In the first half Hertha kept the ball but they weren't able to get past Bayern's five defenders and their strong midfielders. Bayern took their only chance of the first 35 minutes when Thomas Müller dribbled past Heitinga and shooting the ball to the left side. The remaining game was divided in two: Hertha had the ball and attacked until the 70th minute and after that Bayern timewasted and parked the bus.
Player of the Month
Valentin Stocker
This month's 'Player of the Month'-award goes to Valentin Stocker. It was hard to pick someone above the rest because no one from the squad really shined but after some thinking the decision was made. The Swiss winger showed creativity, skill and talent this past month and he was and important piece of Hertha's attack. Stocker managed to net one goal himself.
League Table

Press Conference
You picked up some unbalanced results these two months. What do you think about them?
I can't say I'm not disappointed about losing twice at home against midtable teams and once against the best German team. We should've won both of the two games but we weren't clinical enough and we weren't good enough. Against Bayern we were completely out-played in our attack and we weren't able to do anything. I'm still happy about the other results.
You dropped to fourth in the league. Can you make it to the Champions League?
I want to make one thing clear. We may be fourth but we have a game in hand which will be played against Mönchengladbach. If we can beat them we will become second or third. They are a tough side but I believe in the boys.
You have received job offers from Venezuela, Poland and Uruguay but you rejected all of them. Why?
Like I said last time we met, I'm completely focused on Hertha and the German competitions. I haven't thought even for a second to accept an international job.
The transfer window is only a month away. Who will you looking to buy?
I won't name anyone, but I think a holding midfielder is needed in the team. That's all I'm going to say.
Remember when EA told us that they have fixed the player growth? I do and I'm extremely angry at them now. Why? Because Hosogai, who is 28 years old, has declined in overall! Twenty-*insert curse word*-eight! The only time older players didn't decrease was in my Real Madrid career. After that in both of my careers (Swansea & Hertha) 28 years old players have decreased! Also, let's not talk about the storylines and presentations EA promised us for the career mode. There is nothing new about the news! Keep your promises and improve the career mode properly, EA! I have spoken.
Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

Hey guys, its a very dark day in my career mode history. 2 Days ago my parents called me that we got robbed including my ps4 to be gone, Now the ps4 and everything is covered by insurance, But i did not save anything online. So all my career modes are gone. I have send an email to Sony about the matter hoping that they are saved somewhere.
If they do not reply or its just not possible, I will be starting a new Career mode Later this evening since im back now.
Thanks guys, i hope you arent as sad as i am at the moment
That's terrible man. It's a sad day for us all. Hope you're all okay and can emotionally recover from this. Those bastards. Even if you can't get the careers back, the good thing is you had insurance and it was covered! Man that's a lifesaver by itself.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
January 2019 - Season 6
FIFA '14
AFC Wimbledon 2 - 0 Aston Villa
WIM: Gornell 29' Odhlambo 56'
Five wins in a row for Wimbledon now after defeating Aston Villa who have been struggling this year compared to previous seasons. Terry Gornell scored the first goal on the Villa goalkeeper Steele and then youth graduate Richard Odhlambo scored the second through an incredible, curved free kick. The young English midfielder is having his breakthrough this season and has been turning many heads since the formation change.
Southampton 0 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: Gornell 49'
Southampton played a great match only allowing one goal from the Wombles and in turn creating many scoring chances themselves. The last minutes of the match were very tense with Wimbledon clearing everything that came too close to their box.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jack Robinson
78 OVR - 25 YO - Left Back - England
Signed from Blackpool for $10,500,000
AFC Wimbledon have completed their first signing of the transfer window, in the position we had anticipated, but not the player we thought it would be. With great English left backs in the Premier League like Aaron Cresswell (Aston Villa) and Luke Shaw (Southampton) it came as a huge surprise to see that Wimbledon signed Robinson from Football League 1 club Blackpool. The same story as every transfer window with Chavez. Yes he's one of the best players in the division, but is he really the final piece of the puzzle for Wimbledon - a team battling for a Top 4 finish in the Barclay's Premier League?
Q: Mr. Chavez, you have yet to sign any players from a club in the Premier League, all of your signings have came from either League 2, League 1, the Championship, or the Scottish Premier League. Is there any particular reason why even now that the club has the financial strength you choose not to go for proven players?
A: "I guess old habits die hard. I prefer bringing in players that aren't already identified with other clubs in the league. How could the fans and the player truly be one if he already has that relationship with another set of fans? Plus, I welcome competition from other teams. I saw Manchester City go off and buy Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal in the summer. A great buy of course he's an incredible midfielder, but he's already an established player at the Emirates.(*They actually bought Wilshere in the same window too but I exited the CM. One is fine, but both come on! I'm sure you Arsenal fans would agree.) I want to bring in players that can identify themselves with Wimbledon, and the fans with them. You see, after spending so much time in the lower divisions you get to see remarkable players with incredible talent that unfortunately are hidden away in the lower divisions. I am one hundred percent sure that not only is Robinson the player that we need, but he will also go on to become an international player for England one day. If you think that there isn't players in the lower leagues good enough for the top level, think again. The entire squad of Wimbledon are proof that there are."
FA Cup - Round 3
AFC Wimbledon 3 - 1 Tottenham
WIM: Eaves 3' Clayton 39' 90'
TOT: Eriksen 79'
When we saw that Chavez was fielding the B team for this match, we thought it would be an easy win for Tottenham. How wrong we were. The first surprise came right after kickoff when a lob pass was sent to Tom Eaves who controlled the ball and then took a powerful shot on goal anticipating Lloris' coming out for the 1 on 1. The ball flew past Lloris, hit the top bar and bounced in at only the third minute of the match! Then Max Clayton, who actually started this match, got the second goal to give Wimbledon a comfortable lead. Tottenham's Eriksen scored from a rebound in the 79th minute which motivated his teammates to push forward for the comeback. Tottenham had high hopes of equalizing until Max Clayton scored the third in the 90th minute to give Wimbledon the win, and crushed Tottenham's hopes. Two players that we absolutely have to recognize are the two youth graduates Craig May and Dean Rhodes. Both centre backs lack pace, but both are very tall making it almost impossible to beat them in the air even when they are out of position, and their long legs allow them to make last minute slide tackles. The two Scottish players are already in the orbit of the national team although they haven't received a call up yet, and it is rumored that Real Madrid were interested in Rhodes but Chavez made it clear he was not for sale before Real Madrid even made an offer. Both players are naturally fullbacks but they have been excelling at centre back since their promotions to the senior team. It is said that immediately after the match Chavez removed Tom Lees from the transfer list seeing the great job he did at RB and Danny Wilson at LB.
Capital One Cup - Semifinal (1st Leg)
Arsenal 1 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: James 19' Murphy 77'
ARS: Ozil 67'
Another close match between the two London clubs but Wimbledon came out on top once again. Luke James scored the first goal of the night from the first shot of the match, but to be frank the shot had nothing. The ball rolled from outside the box and into the bottom corner of the goal. The goalkeeper could have definitely reached it but a late reaction allowed the goal. Mezut Ozil came in for the second half and not only did he get Arsenal's first shot of the night, he also scored it. Jacob Murphy put the Wombles ahead ten minutes later and the match stayed that way. This match marked the debut of Jack Robinson in the Wimbledon colors. Ryan Tafazolli was sent to the bench for the first time since joining the Dons in Chavez's first season approximately six years ago. Jack Baldwin took his place as LCB while James Tarkowski kept his place at RCB.
AFC Wimbledon 4 - 1 Reading
WIM: James 28' Ruiz 45' Paterson 59' Gornell 65'
REA: Blackman 50'
Seven league wins in a row for the Dons! It took them a while to get a shot on goal but once they did they couldn't stop. James opened the score with a similar shot as the one against Arsenal but this time with much more power and height. Then youth graduate Mario Ruiz scored from outside the box after a rejected corner. Reading's Blackman would get one back but soon after Paterson and Gornell finished the job and left Reading behind. More importantly, Blackburn Rovers surprised everyone and drew with the league leaders Arsenal. This means that if Wimbledon win their next match not only would they extend their record to 8 wins in a row, it could potentially take them up to first place on the league table! This would depend on results from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea though, but it's possible!
Swansea City 1 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
SWA: Shelvey 66'
WIM: James 81'
A rainy day in Wales has postponed Wimbledon's aspirations for 1st place, and they were barely able to get a draw. Swansea played a defensively solid match, actually stopping Wimbledon from taking too many shots on goal while they were able to advantage of the few shots they had and went ahead on the scoreline. In Chavez's desperation to at least get a draw from Swansea, the formation was changed to a 3-4-3 Diamond which led to James' goal. Wimbledon were only able to get 4 shots on goal tonight, and the entire team played bad. You can blame it on the rain, but we saw players that are usually quick take ages to turn and even longer to get into their sprint. Reporting on Wimbledon for as long as I have I'll admit I'm a little biased towards them, but I must also be honest as a reporter and say that Wimbledon did not deserve the win tonight.
Capital One Cup - Semifinal (2nd Leg)
AFC Wimbledon 2(4) - (3)2 Arsenal
WIM: Eaves 19' James 89'
ARS: Gibbs 23' Immobile 61'
Chavez sent the B team to finish the job the first team had started and Arsenal quickly took advantage of it. The B team was great against Tottenham earlier this month, but tonight it was all Arsenal - well, at least for the first half. Tom Eaves extended Wimbledon's aggregate lead surprising many since it came at a time where Arsenal were clearly in control of the match. A quick counterattack and cross allowed Eaves to get the goal. Then Gibbs equalized the match after a series of passes from the Gunners, and eventually Ciro Immobile put his team ahead with an incredible long shot. It looked as though the match would go to extra time, but Luke James who had just been subbed into the match equalized the match before the final whistle and sent his team ahead on aggregate to their 2nd Capital One Cup final!
Notable Youth Academy Players
Charlie Hopper - LB (46-50, 82-92): The English born 16 year old has been developing really well with the U-17, known for being a playmaker.
Chris McGinn - CDM (61-65, 87-93): The 17 year old from Northern Ireland has finally chosen CDM as his position of choice. He's considered to be physically strong, but may not be promoted until next year.
Curtis Burgess - CM (44-46, 80-86): The English midfielder surprised us in his latest showings with the U-17. The staff saw him as an average player, but after a few months of being with the youth team he has shown that he has a bright footballing career ahead of him.
Jamie Mannus - CDM (60-64, 82-88): This 16 year old from Northern Ireland has a bright future ahead of him. He stands at 6'5" and prefers playing as a defensive midfielder. Competition between him and Sean Archer in the U-17 is very close, with Mannus being more defensive minded. We expect great things from these two players.
Mal Osborn - RB (40-42, 80-86): One of the only fullbacks in the U-17 that isn't defensive minded. The English winger is only 15 years old and can't be registered with the senior team until next season.
Scott McGabe - CDM (65-69, 85-91): The 16 year old from Scotland has been compared his compatriot Sean Archer as they both have similar playing styles. Both are defensive, playmaking, midfielders. McGabe's only flaw is his height: 5'7"
Sean Archer - CDM (61-65, 85-91): The 16 year old from Scotland is an incredible playmaker who prefers to stay in the defensive half and analyze the game from there. He's one of the most exciting players in the U-17 but he will not be registered with the senior squad until next season.
Steven Ross - CDM (58-62, 80-86): Defensive minded midfielder from Scotland. Recently turned 16 but won't be considered for promotion until next season.
Todd Zebroski - CDM (57-61, 80-86): 15 year old playmaker from England. Definitely one to keep an eye on but can't be promoted until next season.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just a few things left to summarize, Wimbledon will play FL Championship side West Bromwich Albion in the next round of the FA Cup before hosting Cardiff City in the league. The B team is expected to play against West Brom but without young Dean Rhodes, who is out for 7 days with a head cut injury.
The Champions League match against Bayern Munich is getting closer and closer and fans are excited to see their team step up against the German giants. Bayern Munich have just signed Mario Balotelli who was having disciplinary problems with Real Madrid. Balotelli was an important player for Los Merengues, scoring twice on Wimbledon, but Real Madrid didn't mind letting him go having Sergio Aguero and Morata ready to replace him. Bayern themselves have Jackson Martinez, Falcao, and Luis Suarez so we are not sure how Balotelli will fit in the squad. All we know for sure is Wimbledon will have to be at the top of their game to keep these big names from expanding their reputation.
Chelsea have defeated Manchester City on penalties in the Capital One Cup and will face AFC Wimbledon in the final. Matches between these two clubs usually go in favor of the home team, but the final will be at a neutral stadium, making it difficult to pick a favorite. This is the second time AFC Wimbledon reach the Capital One Cup final, the first time losing to Manchester United back in 2015. Will the Dons be able to defeat their rivals and add their first Capital One Cup to their trophy cabinet?
Wimbledon fullback Elliot Hewitt has been given his second Player of The Month award this season. The winger has been an exceptional player for Wimbledon currently leading the Premier League with 11 assists, and it is only a matter of time before he becomes a regular with the Wales national team.
This concludes my report for this month. I'll be posting a post-transfer window squad report before the next report.
Thanks for Reading!Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I had just wrote up a whole update, had to switch tabs briefly and then when I went to click the tab, I accidentally closed it :'(
I don't have a September update and I'm sorry but I'm not writing that whole thing out again. With those press conferences after every game, I just can't. I had spent an hour on it so I just can't.
Basically long story short, unbeaten after 11 games, 1 draw, 10 wins. 2 goals conceded so a conference was about the emphasis on defence and the others were mainly about our great performances.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Exeter City F.C.
FIFA 15 - Season 1
The Grecians
November
Exeter City 2 - Burton Albion 1
EXE - Wilson 69', Williams 80'
BA - Mousinho 58'
Burton pushed the ball forward and played a ball through up the middle that found it's way to Mousinho for a brilliant first time finish to give them the lead. Wilson came on late, and his poaching instincts showed themselves as he took advantage of a bad touch by the defense and took the ball away from the last defender for an easy finish past the keeper. Davies was crushed by the defender just outside the box giving Williams a chance to line up behind the ball. He took the chance with confidence and watched it sail past the keepers reach and into the net.
Oxford United 1 - Exeter City 2
OXF - Whing 79'
EXE - Davies 23', Wilson 33'
Davies opened the scoring after receiving the ball on the right side of the box and dribbling his way to the left before putting the ball back across the face of the goal and into the net. Wilson then added to the lead as he attacked the keeper with the ball and waited to draw him off his line before playing the ball between his legs and into the goal. Whing then gave Oxford a chance when he scored a late goal after freeing himself up in the box and beating the Exeter keeper. Exeter went defensive for the remaining minutes and held on for the win.
F.A. Cup
Luton Town 1 - Exeter City 1
LUT - Benson 2'
EXE - Davies 4'
Luton took the ball away quickly to start the game and raced down the field to catch Exeter out of position. Benson then finished the break to give Luton the lead just 2 minutes into the match. Williams snaked his way through the defense to find an opening and fired the ball into the goal to equalize in the 4th minute. The rest of the match played out to a stalemate with Exeter having the majority of chances but all seeming to find their way wide.
J. Paint Trophy
Exeter City 1 - Walsall 0
EXE - Davies 90'
The game went back and forth and appeared to be headed towards extra time, but in the 90th minute Keohane moved the ball into a dangerous position and drew the defenders towards him. He found Davies cutting towards the center of the goal and played the ball over to him. Davies hit the ball first time, but the keeper was able to get to it and deflected it away. The deflection came right back to Davies though and he chested the ball into the goal to advance Exeter to the next round. Bumosix praised Lethalfish's tough Luton side after the match was over.
Exeter City 1 - Southend United 2
EXE - Nichols 90'
SOU - Atkinson 66', Worrall 90'
Atkinson found a gap between two defenders and fired the ball through it as it found it's way into the goal to open the scoring. Worrall then beat his man on a run to the outside and fired a shot at the keeper that found it's way through his legs and rolled into the back of the net. Exeter's goal scoring struggles continued, but Nichols was able to score his first goal for Exeter in the 90th minute off of his own rebound to break Southend's clean sheet.
Hartlepool 1 - Exeter City 1
HAR - Compton 68'
EXE - Wilson 17' (PEN)
A bad challenge by Rowbotham resulted in his first yellow and a penalty for Exeter. Wilson calmly converted the penalty opportunity to put Exeter on the board. Compton then received the ball and cut into the box. He shifted the ball to his stronger right foot and then fired the ball at the goal. The keeper managed to get a hand on it, but the ball was still pushed up into the goal off the deflection. Another bad foul by Rowbotham in the 90th minute saw him sent off with his second card and Exeter got a chance just outside of the box. Sercombe's attempt was saved brilliantly by the keeper to save the point for Hartlepool.
F.A. Cup
Exeter City 3 - Luton Town 1
EXE - Keohane 90', 101', Grimes 114'
LUT - Guttridge 13'
Luton Town exposed Exeter's defense early as they found Guttridge making an unmarked run up the middle for an easy finish. Exeter's offense continued their run of terrible form as they struggled all game to create good chances. Keohane came on late and made all the difference. He avoided a sliding tackle and worked his way to the right side of the penalty area before turning and firing into the left side of the net to end it to extra time. He then made a great run to score the first goal of extra time on a first time finish. With the game winding down he put the nail in the coffin as he raced down the left and crossed the ball in for an easy tap in by Grimes. Bumosix sang high praises of Luton Town's manager Lethalfish for creating such a competitive team in just their first year in the English Football League.
Exeter City 4 - AFC Wimbledon 0
EXE - Cummins 16', 71', Wilson 66', 90'
Cummins turned to his right and fired a low shot that found its way betwee the keepers legs to put Exeter on the board. Wilson came on in the second half and put his mark on the game right away. He dribbled to his right before cutting the ball back to his left and firing across the goal to double the lead. Wilson then received the ball on the left wing and attacked the box before crossing it in to Cummins feet as he found the goal to extend the lead to 3. With the game winding down Wilson got the ball on a counter attack and went straight into the center of the box and faked a shot avoiding the defender challenging hard, and then finished past the keeper to give Exeter the 4-0 win. The two manager, Tex Bumosix and ChicoBass remained on the pitch for some time after the final whistle as the two spoke at midfield before parting ways.

Exeter City Player of the Month
James Wilson
James Wilson takes home his second Exeter City Player of the Month award after putting together several solid performances this month. He led Exeter with 5 goals over the course of the month, and was a bright spot in an offensively challenged month for the club.
Press Conference
Thank you very much for coming today. This month was a mixture of good and bad. The results were alright, but we took a step back from how we were performing the past couple months. I would like to open up the floor for questions now.
Q: You seemed to struggle at times in your attack this month, but you still remain on top of the table. Are you happy with your performance this month?
A: I am happy to be leading the league right now, but you are absolutely right in stating that our attack was lacking at times. The injury with Jamie Reid combined with Alex Nicholls moving back to Northampton really put a strain on our attacking options. We were forces to play players out of position, and rune with a very bare bones attacking core all month. Jamie should be back at some point next month, and we are hoping that he will help to add a spark to our attack.
Q: You are still fighting in two cup competitions winning your matches in both the J. Paint trophy as well as the F.A. Cup. How important are these competitions for you while you try to maintain your hold on the top spot for League 2?
A: These cups are vital to us right now. They are the main source of revenue for us and really give us opportunities to improve our squad and invest into our youth academy. If we get knocked out of these early, it will really hinder our ability to improve going forward. I am happy to still be in both, and we plan to carry on for as far as our efforts will take us.
Q: You suffered two injuries in the Wimbledon game to Mark Hughes and Jordan Moore-Taylor, leaving you very short on personnel at the moment. Did you see any ill intent by the Wimbledon players in that match since two of your players were taken out?
A: Oh absolutely not. I know the Wimbledon manager very well and he would never lead a team that plays like that. Injuries happen in football, and unfortunately we lost two during that game. They are each expected to miss 3 weeks and will return next month around the same time we are expecting Jamie Reid back. The first couple weeks could be a struggle, but once we have all of those players back I expect our squad to take on a new life.
Thanks again everyone, that is all I have time for today. We have a lot of work to do to improve our current form, and we have several players injuries to monitor. Next month should bring a better display on the pitch, and we hope to come out with a much healthier squad over all.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
TORINO SEASON 1 2014/15
OCTOBER
Spoiler
DINAMO MOSCOW 0 V TORINO 1
barreto 80
A hard fought away win in Russia. Due to Amauri's poor performances in recent games I dropped him for Barreto who took the most of his opportunity by scoring the only goal of the game ten minutes from time.
NAPOLI 1 V TORINO 2
higuain 45
kaddouri 60
quagliarella 66
I set the team up with the 4-2-2-2 which proved so effective against Inter at the start of the season and it paid off. Napoli could of been out of sight by half time as Hamsik and Higuain put on a footballing lesson but Padelli pulled off two great saves and the crossbar also came to the rescue. Higuain finally broke the deadlock on the stroke of half time with a typical poachers finish. We leveled fifteen minutes into the 2nd half courtesy of a great diving header from Kaddouri after some great work down the flank by Lora. Then Lora turned provider again when Quagliarella turned in a low cross to score the winner.
TORINO 1 UDINESE 1
muriel 52
quagliarella 66
After our win against Napoli we were looking to build momentum at home against Udinese. Unfortunately it was the away team that took the lead early in the 2nd half, that goal seemed to kick us into life and Quagliarella equalised 14 minutes later. Neither team really looked like scoring the winner and a draw was probably a fair result.
TORINO 3 V ELFSBORG 0
rafinha 11, 45
nocerino 42
jonsson sent off 74
rafinha missed pen 74
Back in Europa league action and we produced our best 45 minutes of football so far this season. Rafinha opened the scoring after only 11 minutes heading in a corner. Although we dominated we had to wait until the 42nd minute before doubling our lead when Nocerino crashed one into the top corner from 20 yards. Rafinha dribbled through the Elfsborg defence and slotted home to make it 3 on the stroke of halftime. In the 2nd half Jonsson bought down Barreto on the box and received a straight red as he was the last man, Rafinha stepped up looking to complete his hatrick but saw his penalty well saved.
LAZIO 1 V TORINO 2
rafinha 10
kaddouri 45
klose 72
A game which we dominated for the first 70 minutes. Rafinha continued his excellent form when he finished off a lovely team move after only 10 minutes. Just before the halftime whistle kaddouri scored a pile driver from the edge of the area to double our lead. We wasted several opportunities to put the game to bed early in the 2nd half before Klose pulled the home team right back in it. The last 15 minutes saw us defend for our lives but we managed to hold on. Rafinha came off in the 2nd half with a bruised shoulder which put him out of our next game.
TORINO 5 V PARMA 2
biabiany 9, 61
verdi 41
kaddouri 68
quagliarella 80
amauri 84, 89
Wow. The scoreline really flattered us with both teams having equal shots on goal and possession at the end of 90 minutes. Parma threw caution to the wind in the last 10 minutes trying to chase the game after throwing away the lead twice and we really punished them. Kaddouri continued his hot streak and Amauri scored his first goals of the season after coming on as a late sub in what was a thrilling match.

I'm delighted with how this month has gone. Unbeaten domestically and in Europe means the league table makes for much better reading and we are in complete control of our Europa League group. Quagliarella and kaddouri have been the stand out players with Rafinha a close second. Having bought Barreto into the starting 11 he has only scored once in 6 games but has laid on 2 assists. With Amauri's late double on his cameo against Parma I have some thinking to do heading into November about who best to pair with Quagliarella up top.

August Update
Spoiler
Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa
Stoke dominated possession during the whole game and won a penalty in the 30th minute where debutant Diouf stepped up but Guzan saved it and in my first game in charge I won a point and a clean sheet. The defence showed alot of character getting bombared by Stoke's attack line.
Aston Villa 2-2 Newcastle
(Agbonlahor 24', Grealish 90')
(De Jong 17', Cissé 74')
My first home game didn't start well with Newcastle's captain De Jong spliting my defence to score his debut goal. However, Agbonlahor scored a header 7 minutes later to tie the game. in the 74th minute a low cross ended with a Cisse diving header giving the magpies the lead. I was fuming due to the previous attack where Agbonlahor was tackled from behind in the penalty box but nothing was called. In the last minute though 19 year old Jakc Gealish beat two defenders too place the ball passed Krul to rescue a point on my home debut.
Liverpool 4-0 Aston Villa
(Assaidi 13', Balotelli 50' 70' Lucas 90')
The surprised starter for Liverpool in Assaidi scored the opener when he skilled around a sliding Vlaar and smash it between Guzan and the near post. We dominated for the rest of the first half but didn't capitalise. We were punished due to this with Lucas shot being paried to Balotelli where he slid in to score the red's second five minutes after the game resumed. 20 minutes later a counter from a corner caused our defence to be everywhere resulting in the crazy Italian's second. Lucas finished us off when Liverpool passed us to death in our box for the easy finish for the Brazilian.
Aston Villa 0-0 Hull
This game was played in periods. Hull dominated for the first 20 minutes we dominated until half time. Hull dominated from Half time to the 70th minute when they parked the bus. This was when we ambushed them but couldn't get a result. We needed to win that I felt.
Transfer
Aston Villa sign Belgium Wonderkid.
Sky Sports
Transfer Deadline Day saw the signing of Belgium wonderkid Junior Malanda sign for Aston Villa from Wolfsburg for a fee to be around 7 million pounds. The signing was made two hours before the Window shut. Gaspar, put this statement out on the clubs Facebook page:
I saw Junior when I was watching some of the Chelsea players in Belgium and Germany last year. He has the complete package, And for 20 he has a big, big future in world football. he is the player we needed to make this team complete.
Press Conference
Q: 3 draws and a loss in your first competive month in charge. How do you feel?
Gaspar: The players are adapting to the playing style, when a new manager takes charge it takes time for the club to adapt in all aspects.I feel the group are adapting very quickly.
Q: Do you think you needed to win the match against Hull?
Gaspar: Of course we should of just like we should of won against Stoke and Newcastle. However, Hull are a good team, they are in Europe you can't be bad and play in Europe. Every team is a good team in the Premier League. thats why they are playing in the best league in the world. We shouldn't expect to win games.
Q: What happened at Anfield?
Gaspar: We Lost badly. Liverpool are a World Class team, thats why they came second last season. Sure they lost Suarez but the have replaced him with some great players and when they are on their day they are world class. As for us we weren't on and that's why we lost. You have to be on your game when traveling to Anfield.
Q: Do you think your lacking goals? you have only scored 2 goals in 4 games with those goals occuring in one game.
Gaspar: I don't think so. We have goals in our team with Christian, Gabby Andre and Danny. Our Defence has been strong besides the Liverpool game, and thats what I wanted to improve. Goals will come.
Q: We See you playing a 3 CB 2 WB system with really 3 attackers, do you think this is the reason for the lack of goals?
Gaspar: Again, No. This formation fits my system and the players games. Just like I said it will take time.
Q: Whats your thought on the transfers you made?
Gaspar: I felt that this transfer window was a success. We signed the players that I wanted and kept the players in demand. We only really spent 7 million if you give and take the players we signed and sold.
Q: You sold your "older players" this window and signed young players with potential. Do you think the team will lack experience and leadership?
Gaspar: No we still have leaders and players who have alot of experence in this level of football. Ron was one of the best defenders at the World Cup and has been a great leader so far, Gabby, Philippe are in the same boat both played for their nations and very important matches and have been leaders around the playing group. And we also have Joe and Shay who have made my life easier being player coaches.
Q: Finally, You have already played Liverpool and your next fixtures are against Man City in the Capital One Cup, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City again and then Everton. You have or are playing thee top 5 teams last season. As a new manager who is still getting your team to adapt to your system. How big of a challenge is this for your team.
Gaspar: It's a massive challenge. It is also a massive learning experience for the players. All of you probably don't have us to win a game in these fixtures but that gives us more of a strive to win. All I can say is if we play our best football who knows what the outcome is. Thank you

Monthly review: The perfect month just when we needed it. All wins including a solid victory over City and a thrashing against Palace. Couldn’t be happier. Transfer window is here and targets have been identified along with some certain departures. The main issue is with Lloris. He wants a £50,000 a week pay rise, and I really don’t want to apply too much money to contracts. Speaking of contracts, Kyle Naughton and Tom Carroll have not been offered new deals, so they can leave for free this transfer window

Spoiler
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jack Robinson
78 OVR - 25 YO - Left Back - England
Signed from Blackpool for $10,500,000
AFC Wimbledon have completed their first signing of the transfer window, in the position we had anticipated, but not the player we thought it would be. With great English left backs in the Premier League like Aaron Cresswell (Aston Villa) and Luke Shaw (Southampton) it came as a huge surprise to see that Wimbledon signed Robinson from Football League 1 club Blackpool. The same story as every transfer window with Chavez. Yes he's one of the best players in the division, but is he really the final piece of the puzzle for Wimbledon - a team battling for a Top 4 finish in the Barclay's Premier League?
Q: Mr. Chavez, you have yet to sign any players from a club in the Premier League, all of your signings have came from either League 2, League 1, the Championship, or the Scottish Premier League. Is there any particular reason why even now that the club has the financial strength you choose not to go for proven players?
A: "I guess old habits die hard. I prefer bringing in players that aren't already identified with other clubs in the league. How could the fans and the player truly be one if he already has that relationship with another set of fans? Plus, I welcome competition from other teams. I saw Manchester City go off and buy Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal in the summer. A great buy of course he's an incredible midfielder, but he's already an established player at the Emirates.(*They actually bought Wilshere in the same window too but I exited the CM. One is fine, but both come on! I'm sure you Arsenal fans would agree.) I want to bring in players that can identify themselves with Wimbledon, and the fans with them. You see, after spending so much time in the lower divisions you get to see remarkable players with incredible talent that unfortunately are hidden away in the lower divisions. I am one hundred percent sure that not only is Robinson the player that we need, but he will also go on to become an international player for England one day. If you think that there isn't players in the lower leagues good enough for the top level, think again. The entire squad of Wimbledon are proof that there are."
FA Cup - Round 3
AFC Wimbledon 3 - 1 Tottenham
WIM: Eaves 3' Clayton 39' 90'
TOT: Eriksen 79'
When we saw that Chavez was fielding the B team for this match, we thought it would be an easy win for Tottenham. How wrong we were. The first surprise came right after kickoff when a lob pass was sent to Tom Eaves who controlled the ball and then took a powerful shot on goal anticipating Lloris' coming out for the 1 on 1. The ball flew past Lloris, hit the top bar and bounced in at only the third minute of the match! Then Max Clayton, who actually started this match, got the second goal to give Wimbledon a comfortable lead. Tottenham's Eriksen scored from a rebound in the 79th minute which motivated his teammates to push forward for the comeback. Tottenham had high hopes of equalizing until Max Clayton scored the third in the 90th minute to give Wimbledon the win, and crushed Tottenham's hopes. Two players that we absolutely have to recognize are the two youth graduates Craig May and Dean Rhodes. Both centre backs lack pace, but both are very tall making it almost impossible to beat them in the air even when they are out of position, and their long legs allow them to make last minute slide tackles. The two Scottish players are already in the orbit of the national team although they haven't received a call up yet, and it is rumored that Real Madrid were interested in Rhodes but Chavez made it clear he was not for sale before Real Madrid even made an offer. Both players are naturally fullbacks but they have been excelling at centre back since their promotions to the senior team. It is said that immediately after the match Chavez removed Tom Lees from the transfer list seeing the great job he did at RB and Danny Wilson at LB.
Capital One Cup - Semifinal (1st Leg)
Arsenal 1 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: James 19' Murphy 77'
ARS: Ozil 67'
Another close match between the two London clubs but Wimbledon came out on top once again. Luke James scored the first goal of the night from the first shot of the match, but to be frank the shot had nothing. The ball rolled from outside the box and into the bottom corner of the goal. The goalkeeper could have definitely reached it but a late reaction allowed the goal. Mezut Ozil came in for the second half and not only did he get Arsenal's first shot of the night, he also scored it. Jacob Murphy put the Wombles ahead ten minutes later and the match stayed that way. This match marked the debut of Jack Robinson in the Wimbledon colors. Ryan Tafazolli was sent to the bench for the first time since joining the Dons in Chavez's first season approximately six years ago. Jack Baldwin took his place as LCB while James Tarkowski kept his place at RCB.
AFC Wimbledon 4 - 1 Reading
WIM: James 28' Ruiz 45' Paterson 59' Gornell 65'
REA: Blackman 50'
Seven league wins in a row for the Dons! It took them a while to get a shot on goal but once they did they couldn't stop. James opened the score with a similar shot as the one against Arsenal but this time with much more power and height. Then youth graduate Mario Ruiz scored from outside the box after a rejected corner. Reading's Blackman would get one back but soon after Paterson and Gornell finished the job and left Reading behind. More importantly, Blackburn Rovers surprised everyone and drew with the league leaders Arsenal. This means that if Wimbledon win their next match not only would they extend their record to 8 wins in a row, it could potentially take them up to first place on the league table! This would depend on results from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea though, but it's possible!
Swansea City 1 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
SWA: Shelvey 66'
WIM: James 81'
A rainy day in Wales has postponed Wimbledon's aspirations for 1st place, and they were barely able to get a draw. Swansea played a defensively solid match, actually stopping Wimbledon from taking too many shots on goal while they were able to advantage of the few shots they had and went ahead on the scoreline. In Chavez's desperation to at least get a draw from Swansea, the formation was changed to a 3-4-3 Diamond which led to James' goal. Wimbledon were only able to get 4 shots on goal tonight, and the entire team played bad. You can blame it on the rain, but we saw players that are usually quick take ages to turn and even longer to get into their sprint. Reporting on Wimbledon for as long as I have I'll admit I'm a little biased towards them, but I must also be honest as a reporter and say that Wimbledon did not deserve the win tonight.
Capital One Cup - Semifinal (2nd Leg)
AFC Wimbledon 2(4) - (3)2 Arsenal
WIM: Eaves 19' James 89'
ARS: Gibbs 23' Immobile 61'
Chavez sent the B team to finish the job the first team had started and Arsenal quickly took advantage of it. The B team was great against Tottenham earlier this month, but tonight it was all Arsenal - well, at least for the first half. Tom Eaves extended Wimbledon's aggregate lead surprising many since it came at a time where Arsenal were clearly in control of the match. A quick counterattack and cross allowed Eaves to get the goal. Then Gibbs equalized the match after a series of passes from the Gunners, and eventually Ciro Immobile put his team ahead with an incredible long shot. It looked as though the match would go to extra time, but Luke James who had just been subbed into the match equalized the match before the final whistle and sent his team ahead on aggregate to their 2nd Capital One Cup final!
Notable Youth Academy Players
Charlie Hopper - LB (46-50, 82-92): The English born 16 year old has been developing really well with the U-17, known for being a playmaker.
Chris McGinn - CDM (61-65, 87-93): The 17 year old from Northern Ireland has finally chosen CDM as his position of choice. He's considered to be physically strong, but may not be promoted until next year.
Curtis Burgess - CM (44-46, 80-86): The English midfielder surprised us in his latest showings with the U-17. The staff saw him as an average player, but after a few months of being with the youth team he has shown that he has a bright footballing career ahead of him.
Jamie Mannus - CDM (60-64, 82-88): This 16 year old from Northern Ireland has a bright future ahead of him. He stands at 6'5" and prefers playing as a defensive midfielder. Competition between him and Sean Archer in the U-17 is very close, with Mannus being more defensive minded. We expect great things from these two players.
Mal Osborn - RB (40-42, 80-86): One of the only fullbacks in the U-17 that isn't defensive minded. The English winger is only 15 years old and can't be registered with the senior team until next season.
Scott McGabe - CDM (65-69, 85-91): The 16 year old from Scotland has been compared his compatriot Sean Archer as they both have similar playing styles. Both are defensive, playmaking, midfielders. McGabe's only flaw is his height: 5'7"
Sean Archer - CDM (61-65, 85-91): The 16 year old from Scotland is an incredible playmaker who prefers to stay in the defensive half and analyze the game from there. He's one of the most exciting players in the U-17 but he will not be registered with the senior squad until next season.
Steven Ross - CDM (58-62, 80-86): Defensive minded midfielder from Scotland. Recently turned 16 but won't be considered for promotion until next season.
Todd Zebroski - CDM (57-61, 80-86): 15 year old playmaker from England. Definitely one to keep an eye on but can't be promoted until next season.
Just a few things left to summarize, Wimbledon will play FL Championship side West Bromwich Albion in the next round of the FA Cup before hosting Cardiff City in the league. The B team is expected to play against West Brom but without young Dean Rhodes, who is out for 7 days with a head cut injury.
The Champions League match against Bayern Munich is getting closer and closer and fans are excited to see their team step up against the German giants. Bayern Munich have just signed Mario Balotelli who was having disciplinary problems with Real Madrid. Balotelli was an important player for Los Merengues, scoring twice on Wimbledon, but Real Madrid didn't mind letting him go having Sergio Aguero and Morata ready to replace him. Bayern themselves have Jackson Martinez, Falcao, and Luis Suarez so we are not sure how Balotelli will fit in the squad. All we know for sure is Wimbledon will have to be at the top of their game to keep these big names from expanding their reputation.
Chelsea have defeated Manchester City on penalties in the Capital One Cup and will face AFC Wimbledon in the final. Matches between these two clubs usually go in favor of the home team, but the final will be at a neutral stadium, making it difficult to pick a favorite. This is the second time AFC Wimbledon reach the Capital One Cup final, the first time losing to Manchester United back in 2015. Will the Dons be able to defeat their rivals and add their first Capital One Cup to their trophy cabinet?
Wimbledon fullback Elliot Hewitt has been given his second Player of The Month award this season. The winger has been an exceptional player for Wimbledon currently leading the Premier League with 11 assists, and it is only a matter of time before he becomes a regular with the Wales national team.
This concludes my report for this month. I'll be posting a post-transfer window squad report before the next report.
Thanks for Reading!Comment
Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I have to do this quick-style because this thread is going to fast for me right now
Chico - is Eaves gonna get some Team A consideration any time soon? It seems like he's a scoring machine.
Simp - you don't want to coach Venezuela? I'm hurt. Nice job in Bundesliga though. I was surprised Ronny got POTM in October since Schieber was scoring regularly.
Jwetson - that was an incredible run in that last month. Will be interesting to see if you can repeat that.
Jordi - those are awful news man, hope everything is well.
Jagger - not the greatest start in the BPL but I love the Malanda acquisition. I just tried to get him in my Alcorcon AD (he's 84 or 85 OVR by now) but Atletico wouldn't negotiate because they just got him. STUD.
Meatloaf - WELCOME! Tim Payne fan right here, I picked him midway through my first season with Dagenham and he was solid for a couple of seasons for me until I recently sold him. Nothing flashy but he will make a positive impact more often than not.
Salarios - it was about time that you get a CM going, I will patiently wait for you to start losing some games so you could join our struggle :P
Gooner - that was a great month for you, good job getting into the Top 6 but now you'll have to deal with the pressure of maintaining it. Can you make a move into the top 4?
Lethal - GREAT season man. Moving on to League 1 now I'm sure you'll be fighting at the top of that league as well. Good to see my Daggers had a decent season. I will confirm that Japan and South Korea have some hidden gems and with these low budget teams they are definitely a great place to go scout. My best academy product is now a 19-year old 81 OVR midfielder (at Alcorcon) and my starting RB's at both Alcorcon and Dagenham are speedsters I found in South Korea (scouting for wingers).
xstu - nice job in both the BPL and Champions, those draws you pulled out against Atletico and Dortmund are nothing to sneeze at. That's a tough group but you have to beat Bordeaux now.
indi - your updates are killing me but you're still my boy. I need to see Buckley back on your squad, it's like life doesn't make sense otherwisevrabbit
Also including something a bit different on my transfer window this time round rather than just sales and departures. Gonna try and intergrate it more into general reports to add some depth to the career and hopefully make it more enjoyable for u guys rather than just results and standingsComment
Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Exeter City F.C.
FIFA 15 - Season 1
The Grecians
SpoilerNovember
Exeter City 2 - Burton Albion 1
EXE - Wilson 69', Williams 80'
BA - Mousinho 58'
Burton pushed the ball forward and played a ball through up the middle that found it's way to Mousinho for a brilliant first time finish to give them the lead. Wilson came on late, and his poaching instincts showed themselves as he took advantage of a bad touch by the defense and took the ball away from the last defender for an easy finish past the keeper. Davies was crushed by the defender just outside the box giving Williams a chance to line up behind the ball. He took the chance with confidence and watched it sail past the keepers reach and into the net.
Oxford United 1 - Exeter City 2
OXF - Whing 79'
EXE - Davies 23', Wilson 33'
Davies opened the scoring after receiving the ball on the right side of the box and dribbling his way to the left before putting the ball back across the face of the goal and into the net. Wilson then added to the lead as he attacked the keeper with the ball and waited to draw him off his line before playing the ball between his legs and into the goal. Whing then gave Oxford a chance when he scored a late goal after freeing himself up in the box and beating the Exeter keeper. Exeter went defensive for the remaining minutes and held on for the win.
F.A. Cup
Luton Town 1 - Exeter City 1
LUT - Benson 2'
EXE - Davies 4'
Luton took the ball away quickly to start the game and raced down the field to catch Exeter out of position. Benson then finished the break to give Luton the lead just 2 minutes into the match. Williams snaked his way through the defense to find an opening and fired the ball into the goal to equalize in the 4th minute. The rest of the match played out to a stalemate with Exeter having the majority of chances but all seeming to find their way wide.
J. Paint Trophy
Exeter City 1 - Walsall 0
EXE - Davies 90'
The game went back and forth and appeared to be headed towards extra time, but in the 90th minute Keohane moved the ball into a dangerous position and drew the defenders towards him. He found Davies cutting towards the center of the goal and played the ball over to him. Davies hit the ball first time, but the keeper was able to get to it and deflected it away. The deflection came right back to Davies though and he chested the ball into the goal to advance Exeter to the next round. Bumosix praised Lethalfish's tough Luton side after the match was over.
Exeter City 1 - Southend United 2
EXE - Nichols 90'
SOU - Atkinson 66', Worrall 90'
Atkinson found a gap between two defenders and fired the ball through it as it found it's way into the goal to open the scoring. Worrall then beat his man on a run to the outside and fired a shot at the keeper that found it's way through his legs and rolled into the back of the net. Exeter's goal scoring struggles continued, but Nichols was able to score his first goal for Exeter in the 90th minute off of his own rebound to break Southend's clean sheet.
Hartlepool 1 - Exeter City 1
HAR - Compton 68'
EXE - Wilson 17' (PEN)
A bad challenge by Rowbotham resulted in his first yellow and a penalty for Exeter. Wilson calmly converted the penalty opportunity to put Exeter on the board. Compton then received the ball and cut into the box. He shifted the ball to his stronger right foot and then fired the ball at the goal. The keeper managed to get a hand on it, but the ball was still pushed up into the goal off the deflection. Another bad foul by Rowbotham in the 90th minute saw him sent off with his second card and Exeter got a chance just outside of the box. Sercombe's attempt was saved brilliantly by the keeper to save the point for Hartlepool.
F.A. Cup
Exeter City 3 - Luton Town 1
EXE - Keohane 90', 101', Grimes 114'
LUT - Guttridge 13'
Luton Town exposed Exeter's defense early as they found Guttridge making an unmarked run up the middle for an easy finish. Exeter's offense continued their run of terrible form as they struggled all game to create good chances. Keohane came on late and made all the difference. He avoided a sliding tackle and worked his way to the right side of the penalty area before turning and firing into the left side of the net to end it to extra time. He then made a great run to score the first goal of extra time on a first time finish. With the game winding down he put the nail in the coffin as he raced down the left and crossed the ball in for an easy tap in by Grimes. Bumosix sang high praises of Luton Town's manager Lethalfish for creating such a competitive team in just their first year in the English Football League.
Exeter City 4 - AFC Wimbledon 0
EXE - Cummins 16', 71', Wilson 66', 90'
Cummins turned to his right and fired a low shot that found its way betwee the keepers legs to put Exeter on the board. Wilson came on in the second half and put his mark on the game right away. He dribbled to his right before cutting the ball back to his left and firing across the goal to double the lead. Wilson then received the ball on the left wing and attacked the box before crossing it in to Cummins feet as he found the goal to extend the lead to 3. With the game winding down Wilson got the ball on a counter attack and went straight into the center of the box and faked a shot avoiding the defender challenging hard, and then finished past the keeper to give Exeter the 4-0 win. The two manager, Tex Bumosix and ChicoBass remained on the pitch for some time after the final whistle as the two spoke at midfield before parting ways.
Youth Academy
Aaron McKenzie (England) 15 years old 47-57 OVR 69-85 POT.
-At only 15 years old Aaron McKenzie still has a lot of growth to accomplish as a player. The youth coaches have found a role for him on the left side of the midfield and he seems to be a natural fit there with his strong left foot. He is known to be highly technically gifted.
Fraser Walker (England) 17 years old 45-53 OVR 61-71 POT.
-The 17 year old player is making the majority of his appearences an attacking midfielder in the academy. He is known for his technical gifts in the midfield and has the potential to make the senior squad next season if he continues to develop well.
Exeter City Player of the Month
James Wilson
James Wilson takes home his second Exeter City Player of the Month award after putting together several solid performances this month. He led Exeter with 5 goals over the course of the month, and was a bright spot in an offensively challenged month for the club.
Press Conference
Thank you very much for coming today. This month was a mixture of good and bad. The results were alright, but we took a step back from how we were performing the past couple months. I would like to open up the floor for questions now.Spoiler
Q: You seemed to struggle at times in your attack this month, but you still remain on top of the table. Are you happy with your performance this month?
A: I am happy to be leading the league right now, but you are absolutely right in stating that our attack was lacking at times. The injury with Jamie Reid combined with Alex Nicholls moving back to Northampton really put a strain on our attacking options. We were forces to play players out of position, and rune with a very bare bones attacking core all month. Jamie should be back at some point next month, and we are hoping that he will help to add a spark to our attack.
Q: You are still fighting in two cup competitions winning your matches in both the J. Paint trophy as well as the F.A. Cup. How important are these competitions for you while you try to maintain your hold on the top spot for League 2?
A: These cups are vital to us right now. They are the main source of revenue for us and really give us opportunities to improve our squad and invest into our youth academy. If we get knocked out of these early, it will really hinder our ability to improve going forward. I am happy to still be in both, and we plan to carry on for as far as our efforts will take us.
Q: You suffered two injuries in the Wimbledon game to Mark Hughes and Jordan Moore-Taylor, leaving you very short on personnel at the moment. Did you see any ill intent by the Wimbledon players in that match since two of your players were taken out?
A: Oh absolutely not. I know the Wimbledon manager very well and he would never lead a team that plays like that. Injuries happen in football, and unfortunately we lost two during that game. They are each expected to miss 3 weeks and will return next month around the same time we are expecting Jamie Reid back. The first couple weeks could be a struggle, but once we have all of those players back I expect our squad to take on a new life.
Thanks again everyone, that is all I have time for today. We have a lot of work to do to improve our current form, and we have several players injuries to monitor. Next month should bring a better display on the pitch, and we hope to come out with a much healthier squad over all.
I had a smile on my face when I saw that you had gotten back at Lethal Fish by knocking them out of the FA Cup and then it quickly went away when I saw how you took advantage of Wimbledon. I'm glad we took down two players with us! lol jk jk. Great results going mid season in first place. Good to see Wilson continuing his impressive form. What's the status on getting the funds for his future fee?Comment
Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Really good results this month, and you are starting to get a little cushion between 5th! I really like the transfers, especially the Jack Robinson signing. I remember looking at him at one point with Morecambe, before ultimately deciding on Declan John since he was cheaper. He looked like a really good player though so I hope he plays well for you.
Thanks. Couldn't believe he was still in League 1 and so far he's been exactly what I needed. There's a Robinson on the Scotland national team who also fit what I wanted, but I wanted an English player so this Robinson was the perfect fit.
I have considered it! It's difficult though with Gornell being the league top scorer and Luke James also being in fantastic form. I just remembered I never posted a squad report this season but I'll be posting one soon. I would like to give Eaves some more substitute appearances, but I have too many players on my squad that have been acting like drama queens and quickly become unhappy if they don't get subbed in every match. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with their $2,250 wages but every time I check they don't demand anything higher than that. Don't worry Rabbit, Eaves has been happy all season lolComment
