22 minutes in Morias had a point blank header saved. Then Plano had a shot in the 43rd minute go a whisker wide of the post. In the 68th minute Morias hit the post after taking it around the keeper. Then Kretzschmar hit the bar with a shot right outside the box a couple minutes later. Extra time was needed. In the 102nd minute Valencia got the goal! After a corner broke down Fenlon got the ball on the right and he crossed for Valencia to volley home.

A counter attack led to Cowan-Hall getting loads of space on the right. Morias put the ball into him and he calmly finished it past the keeper with 29 minutes gone. A cross landed at Agard's feet who buried it in the 90th minute. I thought the game had been snatched from me but up stepped Kretzschmar with a goal from a move that started at the kick off. Morias got his second assist of the game as we ran out 2-1 winners.

For our last game in December we headed to 5th placed MK Dons to try and end the month on a high. We started great when our first attack produced a goal from Pittman. McClure put him in behind the RB and he drilled it home 7 minutes in. It was enough to give us the 3 points ending December on a high for us.

• Simppu, very nice work with Hertha. To be honest, I'd be bored out my skull by now with that career. There'd be no question of staying on for another season, as I'd be looking to move clubs or start fresh at another club. Also, I think it's criminal of you to have players as good as Laporte and Iturbe on the bench. I demand that you sell them!

Thank you. I'm surprised about how long this career has been going for because usually I get bored before finishing the second season. I don't know what it is but I find the career interesting and I like it a lot. When I finish this season I will make a poll about my future.

Just bought my first PS4 game last night. I wanted it to be FIFA, but it wasn't on sale :P Instead I got Shadow of Mordor as it was 50% off. The game will also serve as a commitment, since I must now buy a PS4 or else the game will go to waste haha I was actually very disappointed to see there were no PS4 Black Friday sales. Xbox One was $70 off all day, while all the PS4 had was the Destiny bundle (white PS4) on sale for the same price as the regular PS4. Lame -_- lol

Congratulations, dude! Now go get yourself Far Cry 4 or The Last of Us if it's available for the PS4. Oh, and get the PS4 at some point. By the way, did you get hurt in the sales? You know, everyone is always rushing and fighting for everything, right?

He decreased by an overall in two weeks and that's something I can't stand. I don't really have any other areas to strengthen so I decided to get myself another striker but I will try to sign a player who used to play for us.

The decreasing system is really strange. Some players start decreasing at 28 and some at 33. Then there are the players who get better at the age of 29. It's annoying.

We really had high hopes for this match, particularly because this would be the first time since 2013 that Ryan Tafazolli faces Wimbledon, the club he was loyal to for 6 straight years. We expected a great match up in Villa's third with 6'5" defender Tafazolli marking 6'4" striker Tom Eaves, but things definitely did not go as expected. Youth graduate Rhuadri Mannus scored the first goal from outside the box, only for Weimann to equalize two minutes later with a long shot of his own. Three minutes later Eaves scored a header to put Wimbledon back in front, and two minutes after that Luke James scored the third to give Wimbledon more room to breath. The match went to halftime with Wimbledon comfortably ahead, but they weren't done! At minute 56 Tom Eaves scores his brace and then Luke James completed his brace only four minutes later. Just seven minutes after that Eaves completes his hat-trick! At this point Chavez began making changes to give players like 16 year old Burgess some playing time with the comfortable lead, but even after the changes Wimbledon were still going strong. Callum Paterson scored the 7th goal in the final minutes, and then youth graduate Shaun Vincent finished off an exhausted Villa side with the 8th and final goal. This win will be recorded as the biggest Wimbledon win under Chavez! The incredible win also allowed both Tom Eaves and Luke James to catch up to Chelsea's Jovetic in the race for this year's golden boot, as they each have 7 goals in the league so far. Could AFC Wimbledon have the top scoring striker in the Premier League for the 3rd year in a row?

Champions League - Group Stage
AFC Wimbledon 4 - 0 AEK Athens
WIM: Harvey 8' Ortiz 25' Clayton 59' Thompson 68'
Wimbledon needed a win to get back into fighting for the top 2 spots in the Group D, but Chavez still put his confidence in the B team. They did not disappoint. The B team completely walked over the Greeks and scored 4 incredible goals. The first goal was scored by Tyler Harvey with an incredible volley from a lob pass by Michael Thompson directly to the heart of the box. Harvey took the shot as the ball came down and sent it right into the top corner of the net, impossible for the goalkeeper to reach. Youth graduate Diego Ortiz scored a long shot from outside the box to the bottom corner of the net, assisted by Thompson as well. Max Clayton used his speed to cut into the box and score, and about 9 minutes later Michael Thompson scored his goal by taking his shot with his back towards goal, making a 180 turn to shoot. It looked uncomfortable, but the kid pulled it off.

AFC Wimbledon 2 - 2 Stoke City
STK: N'Zonzi 55' Pieters 89'
WIM: Tom Eaves RED CARD 59' Jacob Murphy 61' James 77'
The Wombles struggled to break through Stoke's 4-1-4-1 and were looking really bad on the field really unmotivated. Stoke scored the first goal at minute 55 which caused Tom Eaves, who had been having a bad game, to lose his head and get sent off for a dangerous slide tackle after losing the ball in midfield. Strangely, Wimbledon looked a lot better with a man down and were even close to winning the game after flipping the scoreline, but unfortunately for them Stoke was able to equalize right before the final minute. It may have been only a draw, but Chavez should still be happy with his team's effort on the pitch even with a man down.

Tottenham 0 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: James 82'
An exciting game filled with midfield battles. The headlines leading up to the match were regarding who would replace Eaves in the lineup after his suspension. The answer: youth graduate Michael Thompson. The CF from Northern Ireland was receiving his first opportunity with the first team ahead of Max Clayton, and he did not disappoint. The forward played with much enthusiasm and his well known lob passes quickly made an impact on the field. Close to the end of the match, he took a powerful shot on goal that Lloris was able to block and sent it high in the air, but Luke James was able to beat his marker and head it first into goal. Tottenham still played really well against the Dons tonight, but losing Leandro Paredes in the transfer window has certainly decreased their offensive spark. PHOTO:

AFC Wimbledon 1 - 0 Norwich City
WIM: Clayton 65'
The Wimbledon B team were just barely able to defeat relegation candidate Norwich, but a win is a win. Tom Eaves made an appearance with the B team tonight, which makes us wonder if he's just playing with the B team to make up for lost playing time, or if he's been demoted back to the B team. With Eaves on the field the B team lost a lot of their speed and had a tough time breaking through Norwich, causing Chavez to switch the 4-4-2 Diamond Wide formation to a 4-3-2-1. Eaves still contributed though, assisting Clayton's goal with a cross into the box.

Champions League - Group D
AFC Wimbledon 2 - 2 AS Roma
WIM: Thompson 7' James 58'
ROM: Florenzi 9' Gervinho 90'
Roma started the match pressuring very high up the field and crowding Wimbledon's box, much like the first game between these two. However, Wimbledon quickly showed Roma that if that's the way they want to play, two can play at that game and showed off their speed with counter attacks every chance they got. Michael Thompson, clearly now a first team player, scored an early goal from a counter attack but Roma hit back two minutes later with a goal from Florenzi. After that, Roma took it down a notch and made sure they weren't sending too many people to attack while Wimbledon also returned to their slow build up play. The two teams made things difficult for each other, until Wimbledon caught a break thanks to a header from Luke James. Roma looked out of options, and didn't look too dangerous anymore. The game wasn't over though, and second half sub Gervinho was able to hit Wimbledon on a counter attack and tie the match right before the end. The ex-Arsenal winger put Roma back in the fight to go to the Round of 16, with the top 3 teams in the group all having possibilities to advance from the group stage.

Chelsea 0 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: James 61'
A big surprise tonight, since Wimbledon's visits to Stamford Bridge are always difficult. The Wombles somehow managed to turn their luck tonight by defeating Chelsea by the minimal difference. This was a tight matchup, as only two points separated these two teams at the top of the table and this was virtually a title decider although still early in the season. Another battle on the league tables is between Wimbledon's Luke James and Chelsea's Jovetic, with James being only one goal ahead of Jovetic in the race for the Golden Boot. In that battle Wimbledon also came out on top with Luke James scoring in the 61st minute with an assist from Thompson. Jovetic had great goal scoring chances but wasn't able to finish, and was later substituted off for Lukaku.

Ben McGovern - CDM (63-67, 88-94): Only 16 years old, the Northern Irish midfielder looks very promising. Ideally the club wants him to stay in the academy for one more year. Hopefully he doesn't demand a call up anytime soon.

Chris McGinn - CDM (66-70, 87-93): The 17 year old from Northern Ireland has finally chosen CDM as his position of choice. He's considered to be physically strong, but may not be promoted until next year.

Jamie Mannus - CDM (63-67, 82-88): This 17 year old from Northern Ireland has a bright future ahead of him. He stands at 6'5" and prefers playing as a defensive midfielder. Competition between him and Sean Archer in the U-17 is very close, with Mannus being more defensive minded. We expect great things from these two players.

Kyle Clarkson - LW (59-63, 80-86): Recently added to the academy so still being analyzed. The English winger is only 5'8" at age 15.

Mal Osborn - RB (58-62, 80-86): One of the only fullbacks in the U-17 that isn't defensive minded. The English winger is only 15 years old and can't be registered with the senior team until next season, but he's already one of the fastest players in the academy.

Sean Archer - CDM (65-69, 85-91): The 17 year old from Scotland is an incredible playmaker who prefers to stay in the defensive half and analyze the game from there. He's one of the most exciting players in the U-17 but he will not be registered with the senior squad until next season.

Steven Ross - CDM (63-67, 80-86): Defensive minded midfielder from Scotland. Recently turned 16 but won't be considered for promotion until next season.

Todd Zebroski - CDM (62-66, 80-86): 16 year old playmaker from England. Definitely one to keep an eye on but can't be promoted until next season.

Tyrone Kedwell - CM (56-60, 77-83): I'm not gonna lie I signed him immediately because of his last name - Kedwell. Could he become a club legend like Danny Kedwell? I sure hope he can live up to the name.

Headlines

UCL: Ticket To Round of 16 Up For The Taking
Going into the final round of group stage the top 3 teams - PSV, Roma, and Wimbledon - all have chances of progressing in their hands without having to depend on other results. If Roma wins their match against AEK Athens, they are through to the next round regardless of the result between Wimbledon and PSV. The odds are in their favor since Athens has yet to win a match in this year's Champions League. The winner of the PSV - Wimbledon match goes through, regardless of the result between Roma and Athens. The odds here are against Wimbledon since they lost to PSV 2-1 last month and must now travel to the Netherlands to face them. If Wimbledon draws or loses to PSV, then they would need Roma to lose to Athens which is highly unlikely on paper. A draw between Roma and Athens would also benefit the Dons in that scenario.

Tom Eaves Back With The B Team
We've mentioned it before, Eaves is not the goal scoring machine that he was last season. Since being promoted to the first team Eaves has struggled to find the net as regularly as last year, thus he has been sent back to the B team. Standing at 6'4", the English striker was even having a hard time to beat his opponents in the air, which never happened last year. If the ball was in the air Eaves was getting to it first no matter what. That is no longer the case this year though. "He had a rough start to this season, with his injury and all. He just needs to regain confidence. His goal scoring form was at its peak when he was with the B team, so maybe there he can find it again and go back to being a giant in the box." - Chavez

AFC Wimbledon becoming Scotland's Core
Scotland has called up a total of 6 AFC Wimbledon players for this month's Euro Qualifying matches. Wimbledon youth graduates Scott McGabe and Dean Rhodes earning their first international cap at the senior level. England has called up 2 Wimbledon players: Tarkowski and Robinson. Luke James will surely be called more often as he is the current top goal scorer in the league and already earned his first cap last month. Another player that is beginning to push for a call up is Jacob Murphy. The midfielder is in great form this season putting in impressive performances at a more consistent level compared to last season.

Youth Scouting Commences
All three of the Wimbledon youth scouts have been sent out in search for young talent. The scouts have been sent out to England in search of wingers, to Mexico in search of a striker, and to the United States in search of a goalkeeper. *All three scouts are 5 stars*

Management Offers
Chavez continues to receive offers from international teams even though he has already stated that he is not interested in an international job at the moment. Belgium sent an offer for Chavez, but it was immediately denied. Relationship between Chavez and the Belgians is not the friendliest, due to the heated matches that took place between Scotland and Belgium when Chavez was manager. The Mexican national team has also sent Chavez an offer, which he hasn't replied to yet. Mexico being his native country and Chavez being familiar with playing three at the back makes it seem like this is an offer he might accept, but who knows. Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen sent a formal offer to Chavez but the offer was denied, and Chavez made it clear that he will not be leaving Wimbledon for any other team.

Ben McGovern - CDM (63-67, 88-94): Only 16 years old, the Northern Irish midfielder looks very promising. Ideally the club wants him to stay in the academy for one more year. Hopefully he doesn't demand a call up anytime soon.

Chris McGinn - CDM (66-70, 87-93): The 17 year old from Northern Ireland has finally chosen CDM as his position of choice. He's considered to be physically strong, but may not be promoted until next year.

Jamie Mannus - CDM (63-67, 82-88): This 17 year old from Northern Ireland has a bright future ahead of him. He stands at 6'5" and prefers playing as a defensive midfielder. Competition between him and Sean Archer in the U-17 is very close, with Mannus being more defensive minded. We expect great things from these two players.

Kyle Clarkson - LW (59-63, 80-86): Recently added to the academy so still being analyzed. The English winger is only 5'8" at age 15.

Mal Osborn - RB (58-62, 80-86): One of the only fullbacks in the U-17 that isn't defensive minded. The English winger is only 15 years old and can't be registered with the senior team until next season, but he's already one of the fastest players in the academy.

Sean Archer - CDM (65-69, 85-91): The 17 year old from Scotland is an incredible playmaker who prefers to stay in the defensive half and analyze the game from there. He's one of the most exciting players in the U-17 but he will not be registered with the senior squad until next season.

Steven Ross - CDM (63-67, 80-86): Defensive minded midfielder from Scotland. Recently turned 16 but won't be considered for promotion until next season.

Todd Zebroski - CDM (62-66, 80-86): 16 year old playmaker from England. Definitely one to keep an eye on but can't be promoted until next season.

Tyrone Kedwell - CM (56-60, 77-83): I'm not gonna lie I signed him immediately because of his last name - Kedwell. Could he become a club legend like Danny Kedwell? I sure hope he can live up to the name.

UCL: Ticket To Round of 16 Up For The Taking
Going into the final round of group stage the top 3 teams - PSV, Roma, and Wimbledon - all have chances of progressing in their hands without having to depend on other results. If Roma wins their match against AEK Athens, they are through to the next round regardless of the result between Wimbledon and PSV. The odds are in their favor since Athens has yet to win a match in this year's Champions League. The winner of the PSV - Wimbledon match goes through, regardless of the result between Roma and Athens. The odds here are against Wimbledon since they lost to PSV 2-1 last month and must now travel to the Netherlands to face them. If Wimbledon draws or loses to PSV, then they would need Roma to lose to Athens which is highly unlikely on paper. A draw between Roma and Athens would also benefit the Dons in that scenario.

Tom Eaves Back With The B Team
We've mentioned it before, Eaves is not the goal scoring machine that he was last season. Since being promoted to the first team Eaves has struggled to find the net as regularly as last year, thus he has been sent back to the B team. Standing at 6'4", the English striker was even having a hard time to beat his opponents in the air, which never happened last year. If the ball was in the air Eaves was getting to it first no matter what. That is no longer the case this year though. "He had a rough start to this season, with his injury and all. He just needs to regain confidence. His goal scoring form was at its peak when he was with the B team, so maybe there he can find it again and go back to being a giant in the box." - Chavez

AFC Wimbledon becoming Scotland's Core
Scotland has called up a total of 6 AFC Wimbledon players for this month's Euro Qualifying matches. Wimbledon youth graduates Scott McGabe and Dean Rhodes earning their first international cap at the senior level. England has called up 2 Wimbledon players: Tarkowski and Robinson. Luke James will surely be called more often as he is the current top goal scorer in the league and already earned his first cap last month. Another player that is beginning to push for a call up is Jacob Murphy. The midfielder is in great form this season putting in impressive performances at a more consistent level compared to last season.

Youth Scouting Commences
All three of the Wimbledon youth scouts have been sent out in search for young talent. The scouts have been sent out to England in search of wingers, to Mexico in search of a striker, and to the United States in search of a goalkeeper. *All three scouts are 5 stars*

Management Offers
Chavez continues to receive offers from international teams even though he has already stated that he is not interested in an international job at the moment. Belgium sent an offer for Chavez, but it was immediately denied. Relationship between Chavez and the Belgians is not the friendliest, due to the heated matches that took place between Scotland and Belgium when Chavez was manager. The Mexican national team has also sent Chavez an offer, which he hasn't replied to yet. Mexico being his native country and Chavez being familiar with playing three at the back makes it seem like this is an offer he might accept, but who knows. Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen sent a formal offer to Chavez but the offer was denied, and Chavez made it clear that he will not be leaving Wimbledon for any other team.

Great win over Tottenham! I usually have a tough time against them but sounds like they are to you what Manchester City are to me in my career lol caught a glimpse of the league table and you're really close to Europa League football maybe even Champions League!

Thanks and you're right, I hated not being able to get a clean sheet from Villa. It annoys me not keeping clean sheets. Ever since I lost Worner I haven't had a goalkeeper that could challenge for the Golden Glove. My current goalkeeper just climbed to 76 OVR but his reflexes are only at 70 I think. Glad to see the news section is well received! Have you played SoM already? That game is actually the one that made me want to jump to next gen. The nemesis system sounds awesome!

I know you guys are probably tired of hearing me say the same things but if you want more cash in lower leagues you've gotta go for those prize monies! When you're using a top club the cup competitions are a good opportunity to give your reserves game time but when you're in the lower leagues it should be the other way around especially when you have a comfortable lead on the league table like you do. The prize monies from the FA Cup are huge compared to the League 2 budget.

Haha nah I'm good. Safety first lol I've seen some videos on Black Friday violence and yeah man it gets pretty crazy. Not like that in my town though. The sales are much more organized so it's not like "there's only 1 tv left so you must fight to the death!" And all the employees just standing around watching lol there's a strong police presence in the bigger stores like Walmart and Target too so people know better than to start shoving. I did go to the mall with my girlfriend but I actually got the game on amazon.

He decreased by an overall in two weeks and that's something I can't stand. I don't really have any other areas to strengthen so I decided to get myself another striker but I will try to sign a player who used to play for us.

The decreasing system is really strange. Some players start decreasing at 28 and some at 33. Then there are the players who get better at the age of 29. It's annoying.

Ah okay gotcha. I hate it when the older players decrease during the offseason because there's nothing you can do about it. By the time you finally get to the friendlies they're no longer good enough for the first team.

Just bought my first PS4 game last night. I wanted it to be FIFA, but it wasn't on sale :P Instead I got Shadow of Mordor as it was 50% off. The game will also serve as a commitment, since I must now buy a PS4 or else the game will go to waste haha I was actually very disappointed to see there were no PS4 Black Friday sales. Xbox One was $70 off all day, while all the PS4 had was the Destiny bundle (white PS4) on sale for the same price as the regular PS4. Lame -_- lol

• Keano, nice job. Seems like you're coping with L1 as well as you did with L2. How did you find the jump between leagues, and what sort of team did you have? What type of signings do you suggest I look for? Free agents? Loans?

The jump is pretty minimal as most teams in League 1 and 2 are kind of equal. There isn't a huge gap between them. Free agent wages are normally fairly high for lower league teams, a couple k. Same with loans from bigger teams. I did however get 3 or 4 loans in and wages were a couple k each. But to get the max amount of players try to sign the £750 players. I also try to get 2-3 Pre-Contracts in January so they'll arrive for the next season. These'll help especially if I'm unable to get my loan stars back for the new season. (I hope to make a couple of the moves permanent but I'm not sure if I'll have enough funds to do so.

I know! December was a tough month for me goals wise I just couldn't seem to score at all. We'll see if I can rectify this in January. But as you said I'm not losing and still have a fair lead at the top. A good run of results in the next couple of months is crucial to the title success.

I have a couple that I have gotten on Pre-Contracts so far. (You'll find out who in the next update! ) I've also set up a couple Youth networks with remaining cash. I think my squad's strong enough to get through the rest of the season.

OK Simppu I gave you three options. But they would go in a particular order due to my liking with a little realism thrown in there. But the order is 1. Paco Alcacer, I feel like he would be a major downgrade to your team, which in my opinion, you need. 2. Don't sell him. This is where the realism comes in because my third option wouldn't make a move to your team only 1 other team in the world. And 3. is Ronaldo. I put him at 3 because of realism. He has stated he wants to remain at Real Madrid even with the speculation of him returning to Man U.

But if not for accounting for realism my list would have been 1. Paco 2. Ronaldo 3. Don't sell.

The Last of Us was only $10 off, but I don't mind paying full price for that game since it's usually cheaper than the rest given that it's an older game. That and also it sounds like it's an amazing game.

You got off to an amazing start in the league, picking up three wins and conceding just one goal in them. You are probably happy about this.

Yes, of course I am. I am full of joy and it almost makes me shread a tear when I think about the long way we have come. It felt amazing to destroy the three teams we faced. We will try to keep this form through the whole season.


The players scored 14 goals in three league games. That's just unbelievable! How can you explain this?

The answer consists of two words: Cristiano Ronaldo. He has been terrific and I'm tremendously happy about us buying him. He is a real professional who does his best. He never gives up and he is a perfectionist. It's been a real joy working with him and I'm sure Cristiano will continue to perform so well.


Your will play against Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Bayern in September. What do you expect from those three games?

My expectation is nine points, three from each game.


The Champions League group you're in has Basel, Ajax and Roma in it. Are you happy about your draw?

Yes, I'm really happy. Roma is the only good team out of those three and I'm sure we will finish first in the group. After that we will beat every team we face and we will lift the trophy again.


Why did you buy the players who you did?

Because they all improve the team and make it even better than it was before. Gaya and Serge (Aurier) weren't good enough and we replaced them. Luis Suarez had injury problems and he was slower and worse in training. All the players we sold were sold because they weren't good enough for the team. We want only the best players.
