    December 2014

    Match 20 2/12
    Sheffield Utd 0-1 Wycombe
    Spring 24'

Man of the Match: Seth Nana Ofori-Twumasi

    Recap:
In the 24th minute Valencia got the ball on the right. He crossed it to Spring who headed it in from the penalty spot into the net. Some more chances followed but there was just one goal.

    FA Cup Round 2 6/12
    Wycombe 0
    -0 Brentford

Man of the Match: Marvin McCoy

    Recap:
We were terrible in this game. Nothing much happened to he honest.

    Match 21 9/12
    Wycombe 1
    -0 Colchester
    Angol 51'

Man of the Match: Lee Angol

    Recap:
In the 51st minute Plano's shot was saved and Angol got on the loose ball and tucked it away to give us a 1-0 win.

NEWS: Georgi Sarmov has been declared fully fit and is available for selection again.

    Match 22 13/12
    Peterborough 0-0 Wycombe

Man of the Match: Sam Wood

    Recap:
We should've won. We had better chances than Peterborough.

FA Cup Round 2 Replay 16/12
    Brentford 0-1 Wycombe

    Valencia 102'

Man of the Match: Tommy Fletcher

    Recap:
22 minutes in Morias had a point blank header saved. Then Plano had a shot in the 43rd minute go a whisker wide of the post. In the 68th minute Morias hit the post after taking it around the keeper. Then Kretzschmar hit the bar with a shot right outside the box a couple minutes later. Extra time was needed. In the 102nd minute Valencia got the goal! After a corner broke down Fenlon got the ball on the right and he crossed for Valencia to volley home.

    Match 23 20/12
    Chesterfield 0-0 Wycombe

    Our Best: Anthony Stewart

    Recap:
McClure picked up a bruised shoulder in the 62nd minute and was replaced by Morias. We dominated again but are back to our old problem of not being able to score.

NEWS: Marvin McCoy has put an end to the speculation and is staying with the club and is settled here.

    Match 24 23/12
    Wycombe 0
    -0 Barnsley

    Our Best: Lee Angol

    Recap:
1st against 2nd in this one where we hold a 5 point advantage.
In the 80th minute Ofori-Twumasi suffered a sprained ankle and had to be replaced by McCoy. Same thing happened 11 shots and 7 on target and not a single goal.

NEWS: Seth Nana Ofori-Twumasi is out for 4 weeks.

    Match 25 27/12
    Wycombe 2
    -1 Rotherham
    Cowan-Hall 29'
    Agard 90'
    Kretzschmar 90'

Man of the Match: Paris Cowan-Hall

    Recap:
A counter attack led to Cowan-Hall getting loads of space on the right. Morias put the ball into him and he calmly finished it past the keeper with 29 minutes gone. A cross landed at Agard's feet who buried it in the 90th minute. I thought the game had been snatched from me but up stepped Kretzschmar with a goal from a move that started at the kick off. Morias got his second assist of the game as we ran out 2-1 winners.

    Match 26 30/12
    MK Dons 0-1 Wycombe
    Pittman 7'

Man of the Match: Marvin McCoy

    Recap:
For our last game in December we headed to 5th placed MK Dons to try and end the month on a high. We started great when our first attack produced a goal from Pittman. McClure put him in behind the RB and he drilled it home 7 minutes in. It was enough to give us the 3 points ending December on a high for us.

Thank you. I'm surprised about how long this career has been going for because usually I get bored before finishing the second season. I don't know what it is but I find the career interesting and I like it a lot. When I finish this season I will make a poll about my future.

      Except in the polls.

That's what I think about you demanding me to sell them! Laporte will not get sold, neither will Iturbe.

Just bought my first PS4 game last night. I wanted it to be FIFA, but it wasn't on sale :P Instead I got Shadow of Mordor as it was 50% off. The game will also serve as a commitment, since I must now buy a PS4 or else the game will go to waste haha I was actually very disappointed to see there were no PS4 Black Friday sales. Xbox One was $70 off all day, while all the PS4 had was the Destiny bundle (white PS4) on sale for the same price as the regular PS4. Lame -_- lol
Congratulations, dude! Now go get yourself Far Cry 4 or The Last of Us if it's available for the PS4. Oh, and get the PS4 at some point. By the way, did you get hurt in the sales? You know, everyone is always rushing and fighting for everything, right?

Anyway, looking forward to the transfer window, as your transfer periods tend to be very active
He decreased by an overall in two weeks and that's something I can't stand. I don't really have any other areas to strengthen so I decided to get myself another striker but I will try to sign a player who used to play for us.

The decreasing system is really strange. Some players start decreasing at 28 and some at 33. Then there are the players who get better at the age of 29. It's annoying.

I'm stopping the poll. You had the chance to vote and some of you have done that. The results were pretty clear: Ronaldo got the most votes, a total of five. Sergio Aguero, Robert Lewandowski and Alexandre Lacazette came all second with two votes. As you can probably guess, this means the best player in the world will be my transfer target number one. Thanks for voting!

Great win over Tottenham! I usually have a tough time against them but sounds like they are to you what Manchester City are to me in my career lol caught a glimpse of the league table and you're really close to Europa League football maybe even Champions League!

Very good work to beat Tottenham and Chelsea, too. It seems you are definitely the best team in England! Liking the news section as well, and you'll love SoM. Grab that PS4 as soon as you can! As for your comment on winning the first two promotions, I agree. From what I've seen, it's the transition to the Championship and getting promoted to the top flight that's the toughest part. I expect to spend at least a year in the second division before making it to the top. Any tips on how to get a bit more cash for better scouts?

Thanks and you're right, I hated not being able to get a clean sheet from Villa. It annoys me not keeping clean sheets. Ever since I lost Worner I haven't had a goalkeeper that could challenge for the Golden Glove. My current goalkeeper just climbed to 76 OVR but his reflexes are only at 70 I think. Glad to see the news section is well received! Have you played SoM already? That game is actually the one that made me want to jump to next gen. The nemesis system sounds awesome!

I know you guys are probably tired of hearing me say the same things but if you want more cash in lower leagues you've gotta go for those prize monies! When you're using a top club the cup competitions are a good opportunity to give your reserves game time but when you're in the lower leagues it should be the other way around especially when you have a comfortable lead on the league table like you do. The prize monies from the FA Cup are huge compared to the League 2 budget.

Haha nah I'm good. Safety first lol I've seen some videos on Black Friday violence and yeah man it gets pretty crazy. Not like that in my town though. The sales are much more organized so it's not like "there's only 1 tv left so you must fight to the death!" And all the employees just standing around watching lol there's a strong police presence in the bigger stores like Walmart and Target too so people know better than to start shoving. I did go to the mall with my girlfriend but I actually got the game on amazon.

Ah okay gotcha. I hate it when the older players decrease during the offseason because there's nothing you can do about it. By the time you finally get to the friendlies they're no longer good enough for the first team.

I think last season I also demolished Villa like 7-1 or something. Maybe it's becoming a habit!

Man those are some close matches! Four 0-0 draws and the wins were by minimal difference. However, you're still accumulating points and you're in first place! Just need to hold it for 5 more months and the title is yours! Now that you're going into January, any transfer targets in mind?

The jump is pretty minimal as most teams in League 1 and 2 are kind of equal. There isn't a huge gap between them. Free agent wages are normally fairly high for lower league teams, a couple k. Same with loans from bigger teams. I did however get 3 or 4 loans in and wages were a couple k each. But to get the max amount of players try to sign the £750 players. I also try to get 2-3 Pre-Contracts in January so they'll arrive for the next season. These'll help especially if I'm unable to get my loan stars back for the new season. (I hope to make a couple of the moves permanent but I'm not sure if I'll have enough funds to do so.

Yep I have a big FA Cup tie with Everton in my next game so I'm hoping I can topple them and get more prize money. I need to get better youth scouts! (My best is a 2*2* and the other is a 1*1*) I'm hoping my strongest XI are all fairly well energized.

I know! December was a tough month for me goals wise I just couldn't seem to score at all. We'll see if I can rectify this in January. But as you said I'm not losing and still have a fair lead at the top. A good run of results in the next couple of months is crucial to the title success.

I have a couple that I have gotten on Pre-Contracts so far. (You'll find out who in the next update! ) I've also set up a couple Youth networks with remaining cash. I think my squad's strong enough to get through the rest of the season.

I always make sure to beat MK for you!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

OK Simppu I gave you three options. But they would go in a particular order due to my liking with a little realism thrown in there. But the order is 1. Paco Alcacer, I feel like he would be a major downgrade to your team, which in my opinion, you need. 2. Don't sell him. This is where the realism comes in because my third option wouldn't make a move to your team only 1 other team in the world. And 3. is Ronaldo. I put him at 3 because of realism. He has stated he wants to remain at Real Madrid even with the speculation of him returning to Man U.

But if not for accounting for realism my list would have been 1. Paco 2. Ronaldo 3. Don't sell.

Oh I'll still be getting The Last of Us don't you worry! It just wasn't on a big sale either haha plus I kind of need a PS4 first. The Last of Us was only $10 off, but I don't mind paying full price for that game since it's usually cheaper than the rest given that it's an older game. That and also it sounds like it's an amazing game.

Playing with you online might take a little longer though, since I have to get the PS4, the game, AND Playstation plus first :/

                            Yes, you have my blessing.

I hadn't thought of this, but I second it! Another thing to consider is Lopez would be younger than Suarez, while Ronaldo should be in his 30s in your career.

                              Transfers In

                              Marcelo

85 Ovr, Left Back, 30 Years Old, Brazil

                              €0,00 + Jose Gaya

After two bad and inconsistent seasons Hertha's Spanish left back Jose Gaya was shown the door. Gaya was used in a swap deal for Juventus' Marcelo who is one of the best left back in the world. The Brazilian is skillful and pacy and he attacks a lot. It's clear that he will take the starting spot in Hertha's line up.

                              Cristiano Ronaldo

93 Ovr, Left Winger, 33 Years Old, Portugal

                              €5,000,000 + Luis Suarez

The biggest transfer of the summer was Cristiano Ronaldo joining Hertha Berlin for only five million and Luis Suarez. The price was really low considering Ronaldo's talent and skill as a footballer. Being the world's best player there will be pressure on the super star but it's sure that he will succeed at Hertha. Ronaldo, who usually plays as a winger will be given a central role at the top of Hertha's attack. It surprised many football fans that the living legend decided to join Hertha when he had staited many times that Manchester United is the only team he would consider moving to.
"Hertha are a huge team and they are doing amazingly. When they contacted me I just knew that joining them would be the right choice. Real Madrid had nothing against me leaving and I'm really thankful to the fans who were always supporting me", said Ronaldo.

                              Mattia de Sciglio

87 Ovr, Right Back, 25 Years Old, Italy

                              €18,000,000 + Serge Aurier

Hertha BSC completed another swap deal in the summer and it was to get another wingback. This time they brought back Mattia de Sciglio from Chelsea. The young Italian played for Hertha before leaving to London for €120 million. Now, half a year later, he has returned to Berlin for just under twenty million euros and Serge Aurier who had a tough time with the Berliners. The deal was a bargain considering that de Sciglio is the world's best right back.

                              Press Conference

You got off to an amazing start in the league, picking up three wins and conceding just one goal in them. You are probably happy about this.

Yes, of course I am. I am full of joy and it almost makes me shread a tear when I think about the long way we have come. It felt amazing to destroy the three teams we faced. We will try to keep this form through the whole season.

The players scored 14 goals in three league games. That's just unbelievable! How can you explain this?

The answer consists of two words: Cristiano Ronaldo. He has been terrific and I'm tremendously happy about us buying him. He is a real professional who does his best. He never gives up and he is a perfectionist. It's been a real joy working with him and I'm sure Cristiano will continue to perform so well.

Your will play against Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Bayern in September. What do you expect from those three games?

My expectation is nine points, three from each game.

The Champions League group you're in has Basel, Ajax and Roma in it. Are you happy about your draw?

Yes, I'm really happy. Roma is the only good team out of those three and I'm sure we will finish first in the group. After that we will beat every team we face and we will lift the trophy again.

Why did you buy the players who you did?

Because they all improve the team and make it even better than it was before. Gaya and Serge (Aurier) weren't good enough and we replaced them. Luis Suarez had injury problems and he was slower and worse in training. All the players we sold were sold because they weren't good enough for the team. We want only the best players.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated!

The Last of Us was only $10 off, but I don't mind paying full price for that game since it's usually cheaper than the rest given that it's an older game. That and also it sounds like it's an amazing game.

Playing with you online might take a little longer though, since I have to get the PS4, the game, AND Playstation plus first :/
You guys will make me buy the game soon. Sadly I have good internet connection only on the weekends.

Wait, Jamie is still on the PS3. He will get the PS4 for Christmas so you don't have to get the PS4 and PS Plus. See? It's not nearly as bad as you thought.

Too bad for you two because the transfers have been made and the update has been posted. I don't think I would've bought Lopez anyway because he doesn't have a high enough potential. Also, Ronaldo has already went up by one overall.
