Sounds great but I have a question: when is the career starting? Also, why don't you just be yourself and continue writing in your own way? Everyone here has their own personal writing style and I think they are important.

You're welcome but thank you, as well. That's something I have always liked about forums, it's not all about you. There are many users and everyone is friendly and cool and no-one hates (or at least admits hating) anyone else. It's good that we have talked about our personal lifes a bit since that gives us a better picture about what kind of people we are. It unites as and makes us stronger in a way and it means we are more than some guys online who like FIFA. I hope you guys get what I mean.

I will continue to write in my style however I just enjoy giving a background and I think the story writing that Indi does will be perfect. It will be adapted to my style though, I won't be copying and pasting Indis and changing the names.

I'm sorry to keep you waiting but after Christmas. I don't want to start on a grand project if I am getting a PS4 and this career will be more than grand. It will be the whole shabang, I will attempt to complete all 15 seasons, moving from club to club throughout. That is the first feature. Think of this as the build up. Every day I will reveal a new feature of the Career mode. It is Advent. You open the forum and there it is, your new treat. Yup, that's how many features there will be, one a day for 24 days. And that is your first.

Ah I see. Thanks for pointing that out. My input was based on a short career I did with Milan early in '14, so my intel is definitely outdated. My bad!

Yea they have bad CBs. One of them is decent but nothing great. Goalie was downright terrible for me I think I might have brought in David De Gea or I was thinking of grabbing Cech. After the first year you lose Torres and Van Ginkel back to Chelsea, which sucked for me because I used Torres as my starter. And like I said El Shaarawy demanded a transfer. He and de Sciligia were the 2 I was going to build the team around. Also if I had decided I wanted to sell Shaarawy I could have gotten like 77 million for him but I had no intentions of doing that.

Hi all. After a pretty long break from this forum and fifa as a whole, I have decided to return after trying,out fifa again and enjoying it so much (as much as possible anyway). The new career mode will probably be out this coming weekend whilst I play through it a bit. I will be writing in the press conference style I used back in FIFA 14 with hints and bits of other ideas I've had in the past. Hopefully this will be a long one. Glad to be back!

Welcome back. I remember reading your careers. You did Burnley and there was one before that I remember but I don't remember the team, right?

A little late but wanted to reply to these...

• Moose, loving the video updates. That was a good result for you against Chelsea, and your career is looking a lot more realistic since the sliders change. I'm also working with a custom set tweaked from Orion's, and I find the game about as good as I've ever seen it. My human intelligence lets me breeze through the lower divisions, but I do lose to the teams at the top.

Thanks! Agreed, with how Chelsea played us last time and the fact that they put out an arguably much stronger lineup than the first time we played them, I figured I should play for the draw. Agreed on the sliders, they make the game play fantastically and reallys gives a lot of variety on the play throughout the park.

Great win over Tottenham! I usually have a tough time against them but sounds like they are to you what Manchester City are to me in my career lol caught a glimpse of the league table and you're really close to Europa League football maybe even Champions League!

Thanks! Yeah, it was a huge game and glad to beat a big rival. They are usually fairly tough, but my bogey teams always seem to be Everton and Arsenal, though I may have snapped that Arsenal streak this year! I think Champions League should be out of our reach this year, but I would definitely love to get into Europe, whether it be through the FA Cup or through a high league finish, I think it is achievable.

funny thing about finally having Dagenham in the BPL: I'll finally get to play rivalries game consistently (against West Ham - East London Derby). That's a shoutout to you, Moose.

Other quick comments to you guys while I'm finishing my lunch break:

Simp, you're my boy and all but you're right that I'm not enjoying your Hertha career that much. You're just beating on everyone, clinching the league title just after winter transfer windows and composing a roster that looks like Barca and Real combined. I really doubt something so easy like that can keep you engaged for too long.

Indi, that initial Parma post was classic you. I'm looking forward to your moves before this first season.

Cruzerr, maybe you need to go to the DMV because you don't seem to have an identity. I know that sounds harsh but I just saw you beat Barca but lose to Levante and Rayo and draw against Granada. Then again, I'm pretty sure I've gone through similar spots, so just keep your head up and fight through it. But back to my initial comment, I think trying to find an identity for your team wouldn't be a bad idea given what you're going through (how IN THE WORLD are you in 2nd place, 3 points behind 1st, and ahead of Real and Barca?).

Keano, looks like League 1 is the breeze I expected it would be and I enjoyed seeing that you realized that and made most of your transfer moves in pre-contracts. You're gonna need those improvements in the Championship because that will not be a breeze. Also may I suggest you start playing some games with Paraguay instead of simming? I think Copa America is going to come up for you soon and you may want to get a feel for your guys before playing games that matter (I would play the B team vs SFA to test some guys, then play your best guys against IVC).

Chico, how can Eaves score a hat trick and get benched in the same month? Recently I realized it all worked well when I passed on him and went with James Collins instead because they have both been studs for us. But hey, nice work staying at the top of the BPL and fighting your way up in your group in CL. Also, I'm pretty sure you missed my most recent Dagenham update because you haven't commented on it yet so get to it!

What a match! Very nice touch putting the 2009 highlights at the intro of the episode to give us an idea how passionate this rivalry is. I can see that this is one of those rivalries that does not change regardless of the teams' current situation in the league and/or division. Hopefully you can claim the home field advantage in the replay and you don't have to suffer like you did in this one!

Can't wait to see some quality games against my Hammers! Good to see you've made the long slog with Dagenham because the lower league road to glories are always the best, gives a great story and now you've gotten to the promised land of the BPL!

Definitely, I figured that was a must do to give you guys the scope of this massive rivalry. Even though they haven't played since 2012, their U21 squads played in a youth cup game recently and they actually held it behind closed doors because of fears of supporter issues, with West Ham winning it on penalties. I was surprised by how well Millwall actually played (against me), maybe it was the home field advantage that they had that helped them out but we were able to come up clutch!

YES!! You're in the premier league! I know an own goal isn't the most dreamt way to get in, but hey, you're in! Before getting too bummed about it, just think of it like this: Stoke aren't ready for the BPL. I mean, after two failures like that? Losing in the playoff final last season and losing it again this season. They crack under pressure and they won't be able to return to the BPL until they fix that. Looking forward to seeing how you prepare for the top flight.

Quick question: what would you have done had you lost the ticket to promotion in playoffs again?

As for Eaves, it's simple: his hat trick was scored against an Aston Villa that let in a total of 8 goals that night. Before then he had been struggling to find his form from last season and even in the game after Villa he was having a terrible match before eventually receiving a straight red card. I'll let you in on a spoiler from the next update, he's even having a hard time with the B team. I don't know man I don't get it. You saw that he was a scoring machine last season and he deserved to be a starter. Now that he is, he can't score. For a striker that is 6'5", he can't head a ball. I don't know why. He can head a ball to his teammate just fine, but if I cross it to him and I want to head towards goal his marker will win the aerial challenge each time. I hate to say this, but with January coming up he's forcing me to review my options

Haha sure man I told you since the beginning you had 100% say in this player's future since you discovered him. I'll let you in on another spoiler: I was planning on bringing in another striker on loan and having him compete with Eaves. I didn't transfer list him, but I received offers from Hannover and Werder Bremen because he's tied for most assists in the league at 5 assists. If you decide to buy Eaves, I will let him go and bring in another striker permanently instead of loan. Your call!

He's still a great player don't get me wrong. I think I was just frustrated that he wasn't as dangerous as before but he's still dangerous alright. In 12 games he has 7 Goals (3 in one match) and 8 Assists.
