It has been going on for so long that it became a piece of the thread. I was happy for you at the end but I was, and I am still, really sad because it's over. Then again, it's 1 AM right now and I often get more emotional late at night. But I'm not crying!

Right now I feel like quitting the ManU career and starting a League 2 one because of this. I must wait a little longer before I start my League 2 journey, though. Also, the part where you mentioned The Great War of 2014, a Rabbit and Keanu Reeves made me laugh. Nice work.

PS. START YOUR NEW CAREER ALREADY!

Thanks man I really appreciate it! I wanted to type an ending that you would all enjoy rather than just saying "that's it, goodbye" lol. The Great War part is true though. Not sure if you guys can remember but I stopped playing during Season 6 because I was so stressed out with it. Every game was extremely frustrating rather than fun. Then the Great War happened and I started playing it again. I'm so glad I could finish the career with those victories. Regardless of how the Real Madrid ended I was going to end the season there, but I just couldn't walk away from the career without ever winning the Champions. That penalty shootout was nerve wrecking for me.

I'll let you guys know my PSN when the servers are back so you can add me up.

Hahaha sorry man! You're right I should have put Father Jamie I can't believe I missed that opportunity

Thanks! I wanted to share those penalty saves so you guys could see them yourselves and give you a little of the excitement I went through. Thanks for the feedback on them. I couldn't believe it when I saved two penalties in a row. I type the update on my iPhones notes and then copy and paste them over here and add little details while making sure I typed the codes right. Since I had so many pictures on this one my phone crashed a couple times as I tried to upload them all. I feel like your updates are much harder to do though I don't think I would be able to make video updates like yourself. THAT is dedication! Not to mention being able to do that without your girlfriend noticing haha

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Hello guys, my career with Morecambe is going well and good thus far, we are going to the league one playoffs and will hopefully go up to the championship next season. Morecambe are blessed with several great air players, and I can really punish on corners and free kicks. I have never brought up a League 2 side to the Prem but I fear I will need to completely reshape the team soon or I will quickly become outclassed. I think this is the most fun I've had with Fifa since the 2012 version.

However, I have started to make much greater use of my youth academy, and I worry about it glitching out and causing that whole crashing problem that would force me to stop using the academy for a while. So I'd like to ask if anyone knows if my solution works: Since the bug apparently is caused by duplicated names if I constantly moved my scouts around the world the generated names would always be different and I could dodge the glitch. Does anyone know if that would work?

On a side note, you guys have some excellent stories to tell here! Always interesting to hear about other people's successes.(and failures)

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. A very good month and it's nice to see you in the top four. You are very close to the promotion spots, just keep the form up. But that loss agains Köln was terrible.

Chico, I'm happy there was a war because it brought you back and you started a posting streak then. You also started playing well then, right? I must admit, as much as I love movies I have never seen the LotR ones. Some bits, yes. But not the whole movies. Also, the "Indi" really is that bad. I wish I get a job in which I can just talk about Fifa.

Moose, I'll put the full squad in my next update.

Man I was right about to say that you were dominating the league this month and then I scrolled down to the match against Koln. Damn. I hope that huge loss at home doesn't lead to a series of bad results as your players recover from the damage. I like the Match Facts pictures. Gives us a better idea of how the game went. Nice touch

                        Glory Glory Man United

                        February 2016

Manchester United 1 - 0 West Ham United
                        van Persie 49'

                        Cardiff City 2 - 2 Manchester United
                        Berget 9', Eikrem 56'
                        Wilson 33', Perez 46'

West Bromwich Albion 0 - 2 Manchester United
                        Rooney 21', Alcacer 60'

                        Champions League Round of 16
                        Juventus 2 - 2 Manchester United
                        Rafinha 11', Pirlo 90'
                        van Persie 31', Mata 86'

This game was the biggest game of the day in the Champions League. The Italian giants Juventus faced the English giants Manchester United. Juve got off to a good start when Rafinha Alcantara shot the ball to the top right corner. Twenty minutes later the Dutch star striker Robin van Persie equalised with a powerful shot which Hugo Lloris let in through his legs. The following fifty minutes offered nothing that special but in the 86th minute Chicharito dribbled on the right side of the box before playing a pass to Juan Mata. The Spaniard took a very weak shot but Lloris in goal somehow didn't save the ball that rolled into the net a foot away from him. Everything looked great for The Red Devils but their joy didn't last long because the Old Lady started attacking. Carlos Tevez whipped in a cross which Andrea Pirlo then headed into the top net to equalise the game. Manchester United's James McCarthy broke his ankle and he will be out for a month.

                        FA Cup Round of 16
                        Fulham 1 - 3 Manchester United
                        McCormack 68'
                        Rooney 11', 88' pen, 45'

                        Manchester United 1 - 2 Manchester City
                        van Persie 55'
                        Nasri 81', Marcos Lopes 90'

Simeone Corleone was ready to face Manchester City for the first time ever in his managerial career. The atmosphere on Old Trafford was amazing and ManU played really well in the first half, hitting the crossbar once and the post once. They didn't manage to score until the 55th minute, though. Robin van Persie took a powerful free kick from about twenty-five yards out and it flew to the net. Everything looked good for United until the 81st minute when Samir Nasri scored off the crossbar. Only ten minutes later the Citizens scored once again when Marcos Lopes finished a nice passing move.

                        Player of the Month

                        Wayne Rooney

There were only two possible options for the player of the month: Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney. After a vote the captain got the award for the second time in a row for his goals and playing in the attacking third. Even at the age of 30 Rooney still shows that he is better than many younger players.

                        Press Conference

This wasn't really your best month. How do you think it went?

Like you said it wasn't a great month but it was alright. We played a few good games but we also played some games in which we lost our concentration for a while and let the opponent score like in the game against Manchester City. I'm really disappointed in the fact that we lost that game in the last ten minutes. We are still on the top of the table so that's a good thing.

How will the draw in the Champions League affect your playing in the second leg?

I don't think it will affect our game in any way. We will continue playing like we have played and I believe that will take us to the next round.

Some fans have criticized your moves in the transfer market and the fact that you didn't buy a defender.

I really don't care what some fans and the media think. We have the best goal difference in the league and we have kept a lot of clean sheets. Yes, maybe our defenders aren't the best on the planet but they are good, young players and they get the job done (note: I want to buy a defender in the summer).

Do you think you can win the league? There are only two points separating you from Chelsea and you have lost some points lately.

We can absolutely win the league. You know what, I bet you fifty quid that we will win the league. There is no way we will slip like Liverpool (pun intended) a few years ago.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

I remember that. You conceded goals like that in basically every other game. Luckily the war fixed your game. Even if it destroyed our relations, at least for a while, it helped you continue the career.

I know what happens in the movies but I still should watch them at some point. I also like the Hobbit movies a lot but the newest one was really bad in my opinion. I felt like leaving the movie theatre about five minutes into it. Don't let my opinion ruin your experience, though.

I just now realised that I was unclear in the post. I meant to post here about Fifa and stuff while working but working at a Gamestop could be cool. I would prefer working at a place where I could talk about movies because I don't play that much games, except for Fifa and a couple of games. But those work places aren't really where I want to end up. I dream big. Maybe even too big.

                            Ok here's some catching up:

@Chico, I'm really sad that the Dons are over but I was happy to see that you went out in style! You did an incredible job with them and I hope that your '15 CM is only half as good.

@Trickstar, Decent month, 3 out of 4 isn't bad and you are in 4th. You'll be well able to get promotion. Good Luck!

@Simp, An average month I guess, I was gutted to see City snatch the derby in the last 10 minutes. And to see that McCarthy got injured too. I think you will win the League by a couple points over Chelsea.

A Swansea update should be up soon.

The Swans Budget and Objectives Announced

The Swansea City board have given new manager Patrick Hayes a £8 million transfer budget and a £80k wage budget. They have also set the following objectives to be achieved by Hayes and the team in the 2014-15 season: Qualify for the Euro League and reach the Round of 16 in the cup. Hayes said in a statement today that he confident he will be able to reach the goals set by the board with his current squad of players. He has been given free rein on who he signs but it remains to be seen whether or not he will purchase anyone in the current window. He may decide to keep the current squad as it is and make the necessary changes in January. Unfortunately Mr. Hayes was unable to attend a press conference as he was busy with the teams preseason preparations. He has arranged matches against SM Caen, SC Bastia and Napoli.
A blow though as Gylfi Sigurosson is out for 7 weeks while he recovers from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury.
In order to set up the Youth Academy as quickly as possible Ruairi Waters from Ireland has been brought in for 637k. He has been sent to unearth talent in England for a period of 9 months. Will he find the next Raheem Sterling, Ross Barkley or Daniel Sturridge? Or will another average Joe walk through the doors of the Swansea City Academy that Hayes wants to make famous

                              MOTM: Wayne Rooney

Hayes' first match in the Premier League started badly at Old Trafford as RVP scored within 6 minutes when he was allowed time in the box. Di Maria scored a 2nd when he turned and finished. There were 4 goals scored in the last 15 minutes starting with RVP completing his brace before Bony got us on the scoresheet heading in a Routledge cross. 2 goals in the latter stages for Rooney ended the game 5-1 against us. A poor start but we hope to bounce back against Burnley.

                              Match 2
                              Swansea 2-1 Burnley

                              MOTM: Lukasz Fabianski

Looking to bounce back from the hammering at the hands of United we hosted Burnley at the Liberty Stadium in our first home game of the season. Bony played through Dyer and he finished coolly. Rangel then played the ball to Sigurosson who struck it first time into the top corner. A beautiful strike. Jones gave Burnley hope when he found his way between our defence and finished it. We shut them out however and earned our first victory of the season.

                              Match 3
                              Swansea 2-2 West Brom
                              SWA - Bony 66' 77' Pen
                              WBA - Sessegnon 16' Dorrans 81'

                              MOTM: Wilfried Bony

Hoping to add another win we hosted West Brom in our 3rd game of the season. It started badly when Sessegnon scored for the visitors 16 minutes in. In the 2nd half Canas put Bony through and he finished it well with his left foot. 10 minutes later Foster was tackled by Bony. Foster took him down and a penalty was given. (How wasn't it a red?!?!) Bony stepped up and gave us the lead. Dorrans ruined the party 9 minutes from time when he found space and fired home. 4 points from 9 in Hayes first 3 games.

                              Payer of the Month

                              Wilfried Bony

The Ivorian claims the first Player of the Month award. His strength caused defenders all sorts of problems up front and he scored 3 goals in 3 games in the League. He also assisted 1 goal.

Not the best possible beginning to a season. ManU is a good team in the game (even without me) so I wouldn't be too angry or sad about that loss but I believe you got unlucky against West Brom. The good thing is that you have a game in hand and you are really close to the top five. I'm a bit surprised that you turned the transfer window off. Also, you can write Sigurdsson with a D instead of an O because the weird Islandic letter is pronounced as a D. Just a small detail.
