Im on about page 497, and this came up and made me laugh pretty hard, i almost woke up the GF. hence that is also a reason why i havent been updating this weekend lol. but here it is

I have the feeling that this is gonna be something that goes on for a long time. I can see it now, page 800, at the bottom of someone's update, a slight footnote below the press conference. #FatherJamie2014

Man I was really pumped as I read through your league matches you were so close! After defeating Barcelona and humiliating Real Madrid I thought you HAD to win the league now. I mean the hard part was over right? Nope. A lower mid table club like Mallorca just HAD to come in and mess all that up. It wouldn't be FIFA if that didn't happen. It wouldn't be football either I guess since really anything can happen. The defeat in the Champions was also devastating, even more so that it was at the hands of a team who gave you trouble earlier in the tournament. Looks like you have switched out Villareal and Barcelona for Liverpool. I hope you face them in the upcoming season's Champions League so you can show them up and get your revenge!

Looking forward to the next season man. TO THE TREBLE!

With that huge difference I would probably up the difficulty at least for a few matches to see if you're ready for the next level. If you're not and you end up losing 2 or 3 games, it doesn't matter because you have a 19 point difference! Lol you can just bring it back down and everything will go back to normal. Just a suggestion. I really like how you include the player that made the assist when listing goals. It's a great idea never thought of doing that. I would try it out myself, with your permission first of course, but I don't think it would look good on mine because of the way I list the goal scorers. Keep it up though!

You defeated both Barcelona and Real Madrid, but it looks like Bilbao continue to give you a hard time. Your placement on the table is great, does 6th place qualify for anything? I would know if I was in La Liga but I'm not part of the cool club yet lol

Keano I really like that you have chosen to scout only in the UK + Ireland. Those will be real homegrown players! I'm actually surprised you chose to scout in Northern Ireland given the Irish rivalry, so props to you for seeing past that and not closing your doors on them. By the way, I know you said your name is pronounced like "Keane-O" but I still can't help but read your name as Keanu. Not sure if that matters but I just wanted you to know. I always catch myself doing it and then I go back and read it right haha

Another bumpy start but you have turned it around! The win against Leverkusen was amazing and seems to have been your breakthrough. Çiftçi man. Damn. Guess that's what happens when you have a Turk and a Greek on the pitch at the same time lol It's great to see one of the twins has already made an impact. Looking forward to seeing their progress! Aside from the pre-contracts I really liked your signings. I'm hoping that by signing a Czech goalkeeper the national team looks your way. And of course I really liked that you have signed another young American to the squad. You know so many of them! Next season I might see if there's an American goalkeeper I can bring to Osasuna. I'm anxious to see how you do against Bayern, although it looks like Dortmund will be the biggest challenge of the season.

Thanks! The whole thing up North happened before my time so I don't see why we can't move on from the past. After all we can't change any of it now. Lol at the Keanu thing. You must call me Keane-O or else! ( )

                          Arsenal Career Mode
                          Part 1 - The Arrival

(The following events take place between 25 of May 2015 and 28 of May 2015)

                          The season was over.

As the last game of the season was at the glorious Emirates Arena, Arsenal managed to tie the game 1-1 against West Brom. They were out of the title race since March. Chelsea and Manchester United were battling it out until the very end, as Arsenal was fighting for scraps with City and Tottenham. The tie at the Emirates gave them the third place - forever forth, no more.

As the game was over, Wenger stood up and and walked around the pitch. Fans were cheering, even though a tie against West Brom is a result that should never happen at home. He felt a sense of pride - after all the things he had accomplished, he could say that Arsenal was his home. Even if things got difficult at times, in the end, it was a job well done. He clapped his hands, took a bow and walked down the stairs.

The following day, Arsene met up with Steve Bould and Stan Kroenke.

"It is time. I am 65 years old. I feel like it is my time to give the seat to somebody else," says Wenger. You could see him getting teary-eyed, yet like the proud frenchman as he was, he did not want to shed a tear.

"Well, if you feel so," replied Kroenke. "I will make the announcement, but we need a replacement for you. Steve, would you like to take over?"

"No, I don't want to do that. I'm a mess, my heart is a wreck after all of these years and my shiny bald head has lost its glow. I would like to continue as an assistant manager, but not as the head."

"Alright, well, since Arsene has spoken highly of you, I would love you to continue. But we need a new man in charge, before I want to make this announcement. Wenger, can you suggest someone?."

"Ahh, yes, well," said Arsene, as he walked around the room, thinking of possible coaches that could replace him. He knew that his legacy at the club would continue for a long time, but it was time to find somebody else. Somebody, who was as mad as him to try new things and to be unique in the business.

                          "Well, Arsene?"

"I have an idea. His name is Thomas Cruzerr." Kroenke and Bould looked at eachother and had no idea who Wenger was talking about. "Who?"

"Thomas Cruzerr. A youngster who used to play for Morecambe. I knew his father back in the day and I used to talk football with Thomas. He always had a unique look to the game."

"Look Wenger," said Stan as he sighed and stood up. "I don't want some youngster messing up the business over here. We are running one of the biggest football teams in the world over here, and you want to bring in an inexperienced coach?"

"You have to trust me on this one. We are doing the press conference in two days, yes? Bring him here and announce his position as a coach at the same time."

"I don't know about this," said Stan. He sounded really hesitant. "Steve, what do you think?"

"I think we should bring him in and see, what he is like. Show him around, if we don't see him as a fit, then we can always not announce him at the press conference."

"Great, we shall act as so."

A car pulled infront of the arena. Out came a man in a black suit with a black afro and beard. Nobody would consider this man as a manager, except for one person - Arsene Wenger.

"Thomas! Glad you could make it, my friend."

"It is an honor, Arsene. You seemed rather urgent with all of this."

"Well, I am not getting any younger, haha. Let us go, I will introduce you to Stan."

As they entered the boardroom, Stan was expecting a young man indeed, yet who stepped in, shocked him.

"Ehh, young man, I mean...Thomas, right?"

"Yes, that is me, pleasure to meet you."

                          "Uhh, how old are you?"

"I am twenty two years old."

"Right, uhh...Arsene, may I speak to you in private for a moment?" Stan and Wenger rushed out of the room, as they left Cruzerr to sit there.

"Are you mad, Wenger? You said a youngster, he is younger than most of the players we have. How are they going to respect him?"

"You shall see, lets go and introduce him to the players."

As they walked onto the pitch, the players were working hard. Even if the season had just ended, work was not done. Rest is only for the weak - or for the champions. Steve saw the three men coming from a distance, so he gather the players together.

"Alright," said Wenger, as he prepared to give a speech. "As you all know, I am retiring. Now, I would like you to meet your new headcoach, Thomas.."

Just before Arsene could finish his sentance, running in came Coquelin. He was late and he looked like he had just run a mile to practise. "I am sorry coach, for being late." Before Wenger could start talking again, Thomas interrupted him.

"Why were you late, mr Coquelin?"

"My car broke down, so I was stuck at the side of the road. I quickly changed into my training gear and ran here."

"Well, mr Coquelin, go run another 5 laps." Everybody stood in awe after that sentance. Nobody could actually believe what Cruzerr just said. As Francis was gasping for air, it took him time to reply.

                          "Wait..oeh..uhh, who are you again?"

"I am Thomas Cruzerr, mr Coquelin. I am your new coach."

                          "Is this a joke?"

"Do I look like I am laughing? Now, as you were late, gimme 5 laps, now."

"I was late like a minute, what the hell."

"Mr Coquelin, do you know what it means to be late?" Everybody stood in silence, waiting for the answer. Stan had a self-satisfied smirk on his face.

"It means that you do not respect me. Now, I respect you enough to show up today and take this job, but respect is a thing which must be earned, not given. If you are late, you lack respect towards me and towards your teammates."

                          "But..."

"Do you want to make it 10 laps?"

                          "Fine, whatever."

As Steve and Stan looked from a distance, Stan had only one thing to say: "I like this kid."

Thanks man, I was worried after failing to score in the first 3 matches, and then Çiftçi happened haha. I follow the American teams pretty closely, including their under 21 and others below that as well so that's where I hear about these guys.

As for keepers, I'd recommend checking out Bill Hamid. Not sure if he would be too expensive or not though, but one of the more promising young American keepers. Get's called up the the USMNT senior team from time to time.

Cruzz (is it okay to call you that?), I'm extremely impressed by your writing skills. I loved every word of this post and I felt like I was reading a combination of Ibrahimovic's and Sir Alex's books. I'm really looking forward to this career and I would love it if you wrote every update like this.

I just have to ask, how old is Thomas right now?

@Cruzerr: That was a really amazing introduction! I love the way you got Wenger out of the way! I think the way you stamped your authority before most of the team had even realized you were their new manager really set up your character for the career! Looking forward to the next post!
